”Careful!”

BOOM!

Brother Zhou Shang reacted the fastest. His senses caught the dangerous moment as Wind Magic—Wind Dragon’s Tooth—ruthlessly descended from above Chen Fei’s back, bringing a whirlwind storm with it.

But just as he shouted the tense warning, the ferocious storm had already enveloped Chen Fei and exploded. It was like a fierce shockwave; a strong vibration spread out almost instantly, cracking the nearby ground. Even the steel-reinforced fighting stage began to tremble and sway from side to side.

And yet, the young figure at the storm’s center, visible to all, stood completely unflinching.

It’s as if that terrifying impact, that Wind Magic, couldn’t shake him at all?

Ptooey!

In the next moment, however, the figure suddenly spat to the side. A smear of bright red was ejected from his mouth, causing the onlookers’ expressions to change slightly.

”...Brother Fei is hurt?” Dong Jianhui watched the scene, his expression trembling. He couldn’t believe that after only the first exchange, Brother Fei was already injured. If that’s the case, doesn’t it prove that Brother Fei’s strength is inferior to that American’s?!

At that moment, the turbulence stirred up by the Wind Magic—Wind Dragon’s Tooth—began to slowly dissipate.

The crowd gazed at the cracked ground in the area the magic had covered and at the broken steel bars of the fighting stage. Then, their eyes turned to the two figures at the center of the battlefield, one old and one young, their expressions a mixture of trepidation and awe.

So, this is the power of an Innate Ancient Martial Artist... equivalent to an S-rank Ability User.

At the same time, a faint breeze brushed past. Old Bansen’s deep, gloomy eyes were fixed on the young face not far away. He exhaled, and a cold glint immediately surged back into his eyes.

”It seems your speed can’t outrun the wind, can it, Sir?” Old Bansen said to Chen Fei with a sinister smile.

”That’s right,” Chen Fei nodded slightly from the center of the battlefield. His pitch-black, glass-clear eyes flashed with a sharp light as the three paths of Sword Qi of Sanyang True Fire surrounding him suddenly blazed. ”However, this isn’t enough to defeat me, is it?”

BOOM!

The moment he finished speaking, a heat like a volcanic eruption suddenly surged forth, and the air temperature skyrocketed. The three paths of Sword Qi of Sanyang True Fire around his body erupted with piercing brilliance. The sword qi soared, threatening to split the heavens, its power even more formidable than the Wind Magic—Wind Dragon’s Tooth—that Old Bansen had used earlier!

RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

The air churned violently as if all moisture was being instantly evaporated. Then, the scorching flames and sharp sword qi twisted together, soaring upwards to dominate the sky above Chen Fei’s head!

The force then exploded outwards like a mountain torrent, a truly astonishing sight that captured everyone’s attention. It surged directly toward Old Bansen.

”I believe it’s my turn now. Sanyang Sword Manual... Flame Burst Sword!” Chen Fei’s dark, glass-clear eyes flashed brightly as he spoke.

BOOM!

This was clearly a powerful, fiery, and sharp force, all condensed into a single sword strike. It churned the air, crushed wind spirits, and even heated the steel-reinforced fighting stage to a fiery red. Beneath the crushing pressure, the ground visibly cracked and collapsed, spitting sparks of flame.

HISS!

This time, it was the Houston Family’s O’Kenney and his men who sucked in a sharp breath, their expressions trembling with shock. Dom, the A+ Level bio-enhanced individual, stared intently at the center of the arena, his greenish eyes filled with a subconscious horror.

He knew with absolute certainty that if Chen Fei had used this attack on him earlier, there was no way he could have survived.

”A very intimidating energy,” Old Bansen couldn’t help but mutter. His deep, gloomy eyes were fixed forward, focused intently on Chen Fei as he defensively cast a protective spell.

”Wind Magic, Wind God Guardian.” A faint breeze enveloped his body, pulsing with a faint light.

”It’s more than just intimidating.”

In the next instant, Chen Fei gave a cold shout. The terrifying Flame Burst Sword plunged downward, rushing toward Old Bansen in a storm of sword qi and fire.

RUMBLE!

The training area erupted with a deafening roar. Within the storm of terrifying power, sword qi and flames intertwined and collided, creating an indescribable crackling energy. Like a rampaging force bent on annihilating everything in its path, it engulfed Old Bansen in an instant.

Furthermore, since Old Bansen was near the edge of the training area, the terrifying power also slammed into the side wall. It began to collapse instantly with a thunderous roar, causing the entire structure to totter on the brink of collapse.

”Jianhui, get over here!” Brother Zhou Shang’s expression changed drastically as he shouted to Dong Jianhui.

”...Uh, yes, Brother Shang.” Snapped out of his daze by the deafening roar, Dong Jianhui hesitated for only a moment before scrambling behind Zhou Shang, his face pale.

Meanwhile, O’Kenney and the others from the Houston Family, their faces etched with terror, had taken refuge beside the bio-enhanced individual, Dom. A protective white light emanated from his body, enveloping them all.

BOOM!

A few seconds later, the entire Dongyun International Private Club collapsed, letting out a massive roar that could be heard for miles. The people inside the club were stunned.

”Damn it, what’s happening? An earthquake?”

”It’s not an earthquake. Something collapsed. It sounds like it came from the training area.”

”Don’t tell me the club’s training area collapsed. That doesn’t make any sense. Wasn’t it just repaired?”

Confused chatter spread throughout the Dongyun International Private Club.

”Li Wan, you handle this. And don’t let anyone get within five hundred meters,” Brother Zhou Shang commanded, his voice hoarse. He stood in a relatively clear area amidst the ruins and shouted to Li Wan, who was not far off.

”Yes, Brother Shang.” Li Wan responded and leaped away, disappearing from the ruins.

At the same time, another gentle breeze blew past, this one from nature itself. It revealed two figures in the center of the area, facing each other.

There, in the middle of the field, the blue-eyed foreigner named Benson stood silently. There wasn’t a single mark of disturbance on his clothing, which made the onlookers’ eyes widen.

Brother Zhou Shang gasped in horror, ”Unscathed? How is that possible!?”

He knew full well that the foreigner possessed strength beyond his imagination, approaching the ss Rank of an Ability User.

But to withstand such a terrifying attack from Chen Fei and emerge completely unscathed...

That’s... that’s simply unbelievable!

Chen Fei, on the other hand, was not in good shape. Although he was the one who had created that heart-stopping spectacle, he had taken a direct hit from the Wind Dragon’s Tooth earlier. His face was pale, his body trembled slightly, and his breathing was ragged, as if he were severely injured.

Even so, his pitch-black, glass-clear eyes remained as calm as ever, and within them even flickered a hint of pride.

”...We’re leaving.” Old Bansen’s hoarse, indifferent voice echoed in everyone’s ears.

”Yes, Lord Ben—”

Although he was confused as to why Old Bansen wanted to leave, O’Kenney didn’t dare question him and simply bowed his head respectfully.

But he hadn’t even finished speaking when he looked up slightly. He saw that after Old Bansen had turned, a trickle of blood was now seeping from the corner of his mouth. O’Kenney froze, his face a mask of shock as his pupils contracted violently.

Old... Lord Benson... he’s actually injured?!

His shock lasted only a moment before a sinister aura made him shiver. His face turned pale as he stammered, ”Respected Lord Benson, I was wrong. Please forgive me.”

Wrong?

Although no one knew what he had done wrong, he could only bow his head obediently at a time like this. Otherwise, he would be courting death. An enraged Lord Benson wouldn’t bother reasoning with a small fry like him; there was simply no need.

”Hmph!”

Old Bansen snorted coldly and strode away without hesitation.

He had now gotten a clear sense of the Huaxia man’s strength and understood there was no need to continue. It was time to return empty-handed.

After all, no matter how precious the item stolen by that Huaxia person was, it was worthless compared to an Ancient Martial Artist from Huaxia who could injure even him. The Houston Family would not make the choice to offend such a terrifying expert from the Eastern World over it.

”Pfft.”

As he watched the retreating figures, a light flashed in Chen Fei’s glass-clear eyes. Suddenly, an unhealthy flush crept up his face, and he spat out another mouthful of bloody phlegm. His expression grew even paler, and his breathing became erratic.

Damn, this American is really something else.

Even with Chen Fei’s disposition, he couldn’t help but feel a grudging admiration. The American was truly formidable. And that level of strength... it wasn’t S-Level, it was SS-Level, right?!

After all, with the Sanyang Sword Manual he practiced, condensing just one or two paths of Sword Qi of Sanyang True Fire was enough to dominate the Early Innate Ancient Martial Artist level. But now, he had already condensed three paths, yet he was still struck by a single spell from his opponent and forced to cough up blood twice.

The implication was self-evident.

As expected of an ss Rank Ability User... so strong.
