The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 496: Chapter 496: The Medicinal Power of Divine Doctor Cheng’s Prescription Is a Bit Fierce

Jiang Daoyue looked at the identical answers in his hand, his whole body trembling with excitement. ”So Observation Examination can truly be used for diagnosis! In all my years in medicine, I have never submitted to anyone, but today, I submit! I completely and utterly submit! I just want to shout one thing! Divine Doctor Cheng is fucking awesome!!”

Hearing Jiang Daoyue’s words,

Gu Wangjinlai’s face flushed with excitement as he roared, ”My dear viewers! Did you hear what Divine Doctor Jiang said? Their diagnostic results are completely identical! Who was it just now that was doubting Divine Doctor Cheng? Get the hell out here!!”

The chat exploded!

[WAAAAH! Divine Doctor Cheng, please accept my worship! I misunderstood you just now! I was wrong! From this day forward, I’m your number one die-hard fan!]

[This has been a real eye-opener! No wonder Divine Doctor Cheng could compete in Divine Doctor Jiang’s place! He’s such a beast! This is the first time I’ve ever heard of Observation Examination being used for diagnosis! I hereby dub Divine Doctor Cheng—Cheng Wangzhen!]

[The guy above me is brilliant! The title ’Cheng Wangzhen’ really suits Divine Doctor Cheng! After all, he’s the only person in the world who can make a diagnosis based solely on Observation Examination!]

[Cheng Wangzhen is so hot! I want to have his babies!]

[Cheng Wangzhen’s diagnostic speed is leagues beyond Park Hao! This first round is a complete victory for Cheng Wangzhen!]

Soon, the moniker ’Cheng Wangzhen’ was widely accepted and spread by the netizens.

The media and influencers from Country H, however, went silent. This Cheng Wangzhen who had popped out of nowhere was terrifying!

’Could Teacher Pu actually lose today?’

Jiang Daoyue looked at Cheng Yuan and Park Hao with a wide smile.

”Gentlemen, the diagnostic results are in. Both of your findings are completely identical. However, Divine Doctor Cheng was faster. Therefore, in the first round of this competition, Divine Doctor Cheng is the winner!”

Park Hao snatched the diagnostic results from Divine Doctor Jiang’s hand and compared the two.

Identical. Identical. Still identical.

By the end, Park Hao was filled with despair.

’I actually lost!’

’I actually lost to some wet-behind-the-ears kid!’

Just as Park Hao was about to admit defeat, a Korean Medicine referee suddenly spoke up. ”Dr. Jiang, you’ve made a mistake! The first round is a draw!”

Everyone stared at the Korean Medicine referee in disbelief. They couldn’t understand. The winner was so obvious, how could he have the nerve to call it a draw?

Jiang Daoyue said coldly, ”Dr. Cui, state your reason.”

The Korean doctor, named Cui Youzhe, didn’t seem the least bit embarrassed. As if the two were truly tied, he explained with an air of self-righteousness, ”The first round was a comparison of diagnostic results, not diagnostic speed. Since their results were completely identical, the first round is a draw.”

The moment the Korean Medicine referee’s words fell, he was instantly torn to shreds by the netizens of Dragon Country.

The Dragon Country netizens wished they could crawl through their internet cables and curse Cui Youzhe’s entire family tree.

Cui Youzhe had absolutely shattered the Dragon Country audience’s perception of right and wrong!

However, the netizens from Country H acted as if they’d found their last hope, praising Cui Youzhe to the skies.

Cheng Yuan, however, had no reaction. He looked calmly at Park Hao and said, ”Dr. Park, why don’t you say it yourself? If you also think it was a draw, then we’ll call it a draw. I don’t mind.”

Park Hao’s mouth twitched uncontrollably. He desperately wanted to blurt out the word ”draw”!

’But he couldn’t!’

’He was the incomparably proud Korean Acupuncture Saint!’

’He was the number one figure in Korean Medicine!’

’And in the future, after Korean Medicine absorbed Traditional Chinese Medicine, he would be the number one figure in that as well!’

’He couldn’t act like a shameless rogue in front of everyone!’

’Otherwise, what would become of his credibility?’

’Park Hao believed he would win back the next two rounds! Especially the acupuncture technique competition!’

’He, Park Hao, had never lost before!’

Park Hao took a deep breath and said in a low voice, ”Although according to the rules, Dr. Cheng and I are tied, in practice, I was indeed slower than him. Count it as me losing by half a step.”

Jiang Daoyue, not realizing that Park Hao had only conceded due to public pressure, praised him from the bottom of his heart. ”Divine Doctor Pu, from this day forward, I recognize you as a Divine Doctor! Not everyone in your Country H lacks sportsmanship. First, there was Son Heung-min, and now there is you, Korean Acupuncture Saint Park Hao!”

Cheng Yuan, standing to the side, rolled his eyes in exasperation. ’Divine Doctor Jiang is too pure and kindhearted!’

’That old fox Park Hao didn’t have such high principles.’

Of course, Cheng Yuan couldn’t be bothered to expose Park Hao’s charade. In a little while, after Park Hao suffered a crushing defeat, his true colors would be revealed.

Park Hao forced a smile. ”Thank you for your recognition, Divine Doctor Jiang! Your medical skills are also worthy of the title ’Divine Doctor’! Let’s proceed to the second round of the competition! Let’s see whose prescription is more accurate and sound!”

Jiang Daoyue looked at Cheng Yuan questioningly. The latter gave a slight nod, and Jiang Daoyue announced in a deep voice, ”The second round of the competition begins now!!”

Cheng Yuan and Park Hao once again began to write furiously.

This time, they both stopped writing at almost the exact same moment. It was nearly impossible to tell who finished first.

Jiang Daoyue collected the two prescriptions and passed them among the panel of judges.

For a moment, the judge’s panel erupted into noisy discussion.

Divine Doctor Xue said gravely, ”The prescriptions for nine of the patients are identical, so we won’t discuss those. Only for patient number six do the two doctors’ prescriptions differ. Let’s discuss which one is superior and which is inferior.”

Cui Youzhe snorted coldly. ”What is there to discuss? Anyone with eyes can see that our Teacher Pu has won! Patient number six is irritable due to exuberant liver fire and also has a disordered digestive system, which leads to abdominal distension and constipation. Teacher Pu prescribed a standard formula of Clematis root to clear fire and relieve constipation: 10 qian each of Clematis root, Fritillaria bulb, and Anemarrhena rhizome, ground into a powder. A dose of 3 qian is to be taken each time, mixed with wine on an empty stomach. Dr. Cheng’s prescription, on the other hand, is 3 qian each of Rhubarb and Magnolia bark, 2 qian each of Immature bitter orange and Glauber’s salt, plus an additional 2 qian of Clematis root. This follows the formula for Major Order the Qi Decoction, but the addition of Clematis root makes it incongruous. The Medicinal Power is a bit too fierce, and it will cause some harm to the human body.”

The Traditional Chinese Medicine judges were rendered speechless.

Although Cui Youzhe was shameless and brazen, his knowledge of pharmacology was solid, and his analysis was clear and logical.

They also felt that Cheng Yuan’s prescription was a bit incongruous, and its medicinal power was a little too intense.

Divine Doctor Xue didn’t dare to comment lightly on Cheng Yuan’s prescription. He asked gently, ”Divine Doctor Cheng, Dr. Cui says your prescription is a bit too aggressive and will cause some harm to the body. Would you care to explain?”

Cheng Yuan didn’t explain. He simply said, ”Dr. Cui’s analysis is spot on. My prescription’s medicinal power is indeed a bit ferocious and will cause a certain amount of harm to the body.”

Divine Doctor Xue sighed. Since Cheng Yuan himself had admitted it, he had no choice but to announce the result. ”In the second round, the prescription contest, Dr. Park wins by a narrow margin!”

Hearing this, the live streams of the Dragon Country media and influencers instantly went silent.

Everyone felt a sense of regret. It was such a pity. If Divine Doctor Cheng had managed a draw, then no matter the result of the upcoming acupuncture contest, he could at least have guaranteed he wouldn’t lose overall.

But now, they were both back at the starting line.

The final victor was once again uncertain.

The media and influencer streams in Country H were finally able to hold their heads high again!

”Young people are so reckless! Their prescriptions aren’t prudent enough! Sure, it might cure the patient in the fastest way possible, but it will also leave them with side effects! Our Teacher Pu’s prescription is still the most reliable!”

Divine Doctor Jiang, worried that Cheng Yuan’s confidence might be shaken, offered some gentle consolation. ”Divine Doctor Cheng, winning and losing are all part of the game. Don’t let it get to you!”

Cheng Yuan grinned. Of course this wouldn’t affect his mood. ’He wasn’t going to lose.’

Everyone thought Cheng Yuan had lost by a narrow margin, but Park Hao frowned deeply. He felt that something wasn’t quite right.

Park Hao couldn’t hold it in any longer. He asked with a puzzled expression, ”Dr. Cheng, given the skill you displayed during the Observation Examination, you shouldn’t have made such a rookie mistake, right? Since you know about Clematis root, why would you still use the Major Order the Qi Decoction formula?”
