Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

”Transcendent?”

Upon hearing Zhang Beixing bring up the matter, Sophia Zhou froze for a moment, feeling a bit bewildered.

Why did Zhang Beixing suddenly talk to her about this topic?

Sophia Zhou pondered for a moment, ”I guess... what’s up Beixing? Is something the matter?”

”No, it’s nothing. It’s just that the country has set up a Department of Extraordinary Affairs, and I’ve been asked to be the minister, responsible for cultivating extraordinary individuals. However, the department is still not fully developed yet. If you want, once I have everything arranged, how about you join as the first member of my department?”

Zhang Beixing shared what had just happened in the meeting room, asking for Sophia Zhou’s opinion.

Hearing this, Sophia Zhou suddenly understood.

”I see, but I’m sorry, Beixing. My current duty is to stay by your side and provide assistance. The thought of becoming transcendent is indeed tempting, but military orders are paramount. I need to complete the tasks assigned by my superiors first. I will report this to my leaders, and if they agree, I’ll join then. What do you think?”

Sophia Zhou expressed her interest but felt that now was not the time.

After all, her current identity is a soldier, not a student.

And a soldier’s duty is to obey orders.

Therefore, in this matter, she couldn’t make a unilateral decision.

Upon hearing this.

Zhang Beixing nodded, showing understanding.

”Then communicate with your leaders first.”

”I’ll keep the spot for you, you can come to find me anytime.”

Sophia Zhou said ”okay” twice, playfully, ”Alright, then I’ll trouble you, Beixing.”

”No problem, who are we kidding, it’s not a bother.”

Zhang Beixing waved his hand, indicating it’s not a big issue.

Then, led by Sophia Zhou.

Zhang Beixing arrived at the temporary residence arranged for him by the Yanjing Military Region, pondering today’s events while resting.

Elevating the strength of fifty people per month is incredibly easy for him, no pressure, not worth worrying about.

The main focus is the future ’Department of Extraordinary Affairs’.

”The department’s founding details, its name, personnel, structure...”

”Geez, Old Zhang has really given me work to do!”

Zhang Beixing rubbed his temples, increasingly feeling he’s boarded a pirate ship.

Because this ’Department of Extraordinary Affairs’ is entirely an empty shell without anything solid.

The only thing worth noting.

Is that this department is initiated by the country and belongs to a national department.

Aside from that.

There’s nothing, literally.

Not even an office or a proper location.

Even worse than university associations.

”First, I need to persuade the leadership to get us a base; otherwise, a grand Department of Extraordinary Affairs, with no adequate office is a disgrace.”

”Next up is naming the department.”

”Constantly calling it the Department of Extraordinary Affairs is not okay. We need a proper name.”

Zhang Beixing murmured.

He walked to the table, sat down, took out a paper, holding a pen, began jotting down things he needed to do.

As for naming the ’Department of Extraordinary Affairs’,

it was written as he recorded — The Ninth Bureau!

In ’The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon: Plain Questions’ it is stated, ”The utmost number of heaven and earth begins at one and ends at nine.”

As for ten, it signifies ’fullness brings harm’.

Therefore, nine is the supreme number, both ’end’ and the beginning of ’infinity’.

It’s perfectly fitting on those who transcend human limits.

Those who become extraordinary have reached human limits.

And stepped onto an indefinite new path.

”Alright, this’ll do.”

With name settled.

Next is structuring the ’The Ninth Bureau’ to make it more complete.

Regarding this aspect.

Zhang Beixing already had a rough idea.

He intends to divide this department into two sections.

One section is the extraordinary individuals.

They’re responsible for combat, taking tasks, they’re the action team.

The other section deals with logistics.

Responsible for handling all miscellaneous affairs.

Such as daily operations, task assignments, commercial collaborations, talent recruitment, intelligence gathering, medical rescue, maintenance of grounds, compensation for damages, etc.

This requires a lot of manpower.

If Zhang Beixing were alone.

He’d be in a mess, scrambling for recruitment, interviews, and assessing strength.

Taking immense effort just to assemble a basic team, enabling the department to operate.

Fortunately, Zhang Beixing isn’t alone.

The nation supports him.

Thus, he is relieved from these tedious matters.

He simply needs to lay out these plans and submit them up.

Then he can be hands-off, waiting for the country to resolve these problems.

Easy and pleasant.

Understanding this, Zhang Beixing started writing at his desk.

After an hour of bustling.

The draft for ’The Ninth Bureau’ was finally completed.

After review, ensuring no mistakes.

Zhang Beixing intended to send this draft directly to Zhang Delin.

But suddenly remembered, he doesn’t seem to have his contact information.

”Then who should I send this to? Su Dakai, or Zhao Ruchang?”

Zhang Beixing was utterly confused.

No one to interface with, what a situation.

Thus he sought out Sophia Zhou to inquire about this matter.

Learning Zhang Beixing’s situation.

Sophia Zhou couldn’t help but laugh, quickly contacted someone.

Soon a military phone was delivered.

Carrying Zhang Delin’s contact info, and the official account of ’Department of Extraordinary Affairs’.
