Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

”What’s going on? Brother Bei is live streaming?”

”I can’t believe it! The missing person has returned. I thought Brother Bei would be silent for at least two or three months after his last stream, but unexpectedly, he went live today.”

”What’s Brother Dan up to with this sudden live stream? I haven’t heard of anything special happening recently.”

”That’s because you’re out of the loop. Word in Shishi is that Brother Bei got a BMW a few days ago and was racing it down Shishi’s highways at over a hundred miles per hour. Given Brother Bei’s personality, I bet he went live just to show off to us.”

”I feel... that reason is a bit far-fetched. This happened quite a while ago. If you hadn’t mentioned it, I’d hardly remember. If Brother Bei wanted to show off about this, he should have done it half a month ago.”

”Whatever, who cares why he’s doing it. As long as Brother Bei is streaming, I’m happy to watch.”

”You’re absolutely right. With Brother Dan’s update speed, those in the know understand he’s as slow as a turtle. The fact that he’s streaming at all is something to be grateful for; just don’t expect anything else.”

”But what is Brother Bei doing? Why isn’t he interacting with us? He’s just been waving a blade around since he started the stream.”

”Waving a blade is one thing, but the way he’s doing it... how do I put it? It feels so monotonous, so dull.”

”Maybe Brother Dan has run out of content. If he’s out of content, I suggest he bites a lighter, haha.”

”...”

After Zhang Beixing started his live stream, in just a short while, the number of viewers in his stream climbed from 0 to over 100,000. The screen was filled with an endless stream of comments and discussions.

Clearly, everyone was baffled by this sudden live session and even more puzzled by Zhang Beixing’s current actions.

Because since the start of the stream, he had been continuously swinging a wooden blade at the air in front of him.

Seeing this, not to mention experts, even these lay viewers could tell that there was absolutely no pattern or method to Zhang Beixing’s movements.

Yet, strangely enough, this seemed to be the content of Zhang Beixing’s live stream.

”Ah, this...”

”I can’t take it anymore, guys. If Brother Bei went live to stir things up, that would be one thing. But this stream seems to be a martial arts training special.”

”It’s like casting pearls before swine. You can ask me to watch something fun, but watching martial arts training, and such monotonous training at that—even though I love watching Brother Bei stream, sorry, I just can’t take it. I’m out!”

”Same here, it’s too boring, Brother Dan.”

Wan Mingde of Original Style Tai Chi: ”You philistines! You only see the tedium in President Zhang’s martial arts practice, but I see President Zhang’s persistent effort. To relentlessly practice such monotonous moves without pause is truly admirable. No wonder President Zhang has achieved his position at such a young age. I am deeply impressed!”

Tian Fenglin of Taizu Long Fist: ”Well said! At first glance, these moves seem ordinary, but in reality, they contain profound depths. It’s a pity that my insight is too limited to perceive them. What a regret!”

”Hey, hey, hey, you two up there, give it a rest. It’s just blade practice, isn’t it? Don’t you think you’re exaggerating a bit too much?”

”A boring stream, boring viewers, and boring me. Damn, before I knew it, I had already been here for a couple of hours. It’s utterly ridiculous!”

”...”

As the saying goes, ”Easy come, easy go.”

Because Zhang Beixing’s stream content was too dry and dull, it didn’t take long for 80% of the viewers to leave. Only a little over 50,000 people remained, still watching Zhang Beixing’s live session.

Compared to the glory when he first started streaming, this was an extreme decline.

However, Zhang Beixing didn’t care, as this was all within his expectations.

In this fast-paced era, people watch videos and listen to songs at double speed. Their patience isn’t what it used to be; they’re often incapable of persistently focusing on a single thing, let alone when that thing appears so monotonous and dull.

Sheathing the blade, swinging the blade.

Like a machine programmed with a set routine, Zhang Beixing kept repeating these steps.

He entered a state of total self-forgetfulness. There was only the blade in his eyes, and his mind was solely focused on practicing with it.

Even when his ”Essence, Qi, and Spirit” and ”Postnatal Five Qi” were utterly depleted, forcing him to stop and rest, he never once let go of the blade in his hand.

He would simply stand up with the blade after resting and continue swinging.

Such perseverance moved and impressed the online community, while also sparking their curiosity about the moves Zhang Beixing was practicing.

Thus, they flocked to the live stream, eager to see the final outcome.

For a while, this renewed interest even halted the decline in viewership and slightly reversed the trend.

Zhang Beixing became aware of this after he finished streaming that evening, but he didn’t pay it much mind.

Compared to this, the most important thing for him at the moment was to max out the experience points for [Sword Qi and Blade Intent] as soon as possible!

HUFF—

Swinging out the wooden blade and bringing it back, Zhang Beixing, in a rare moment, snapped out of his state of intense martial focus and let out a long breath.

It wasn’t because he was bored or didn’t want to practice anymore, but because he no longer needed to!

After days of relentless effort, his dedication had finally paid off.
