Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

After an intense internal struggle, Zhang Beixing’s advisor finally made the call. He asked Zhang Beixing to write his graduation thesis and prepare to graduate. After some thought, the advisor concluded that compared to forcing the President of the Great Xia Martial Arts Association, a ministerial-level official, to defer graduation, having him write a thesis was at least within the realm of acceptability.

Receiving this call from his advisor, Zhang Beixing finally remembered the important matter he had overlooked and couldn’t help but feel a little sheepish. He had been so preoccupied with handling Martial Artist affairs recently that he had almost forgotten about it entirely. Fortunately, after his Mental Attribute had increased, his memory had greatly improved. The somewhat fuzzy memories from his previous life were now crystal clear. Writing a graduation thesis wasn’t particularly difficult for him.

After hanging up the call, Zhang Beixing announced, ”For the next few days, you all are to practice as I’ve instructed. I’m going to prepare my graduation thesis.

”I’ll check on your training progress in a few days.”

Upon hearing this, everyone was utterly dumbfounded.

What? Graduation thesis?

”President Zhang hasn’t graduated yet?”

”It seems so... I remember President Zhang is only twenty-two this year. Doing the math, it really is time for him to write his graduation thesis.”

”Ah, this... I’m speechless.”

”Same here!”

”So what do we do now?”

”What else can we do? Just practice as President Zhang told us. Didn’t you hear him say he’d come back later to check on our results?”

”Oh, right! Let’s get to practice!”

...

Everyone was inwardly speechless. It was only then they remembered Zhang Beixing’s age; he was still just a ’kid’! But because of his immense strength, everyone had long since overlooked his age. Now, they couldn’t help but be filled with emotion; Grandmaster Zhang was a peerless genius, truly one of a kind throughout history.

「Later」

Leaving the horse track and returning home, Zhang Beixing booted up his computer. He began writing, recalling his graduation thesis from his previous life. This task took him two days. After all, it had been years since he’d last dealt with this, and the content was extensive. Even with his excellent memory, it was impossible for him to replicate it verbatim on the spot; he still needed some literature and materials for reference.

During these two days, besides writing his thesis, Zhang Beixing also found time to engage in some Martial Arts Training, earn Ability Points, and increase the experience bar for his [Sword Qi and Blade Intent].

Then, there was taming the wild horse.

After spending more than half a month on it, the wild and untamed colt from Ancient Rome ultimately laid down its pride and submitted to being ridden by Zhang Beixing.

It had no other choice.

This Zhang Beixing was an absolute beast!

Although human, his strength, speed, and endurance were all far superior to its own. Every day, after being thoroughly exhausted by Zhang Beixing, it didn’t even have the energy to eat its fodder. It was fortunate that the horse was exceptionally talented and far from ordinary. Otherwise, if it were any other horse, it would either be dead or half-dead by now.

Of course, if it were just for this reason alone, it wouldn’t have been enough to make the colt comply and willingly allow this two-legged creature to ride on its back. The main reason it submitted was the benefits it received from Zhang Beixing.

Postnatal Five Qi!

After each day’s confrontation, to heal its physical injuries and prevent any underlying ailments, Zhang Beixing would use Postnatal Five Qi to soothe its body and clear its meridians. At first, the colt didn’t think much of it, considering it merely a novel form of massage. But later, as time went by and the effects of Postnatal Five Qi began to manifest, the colt realized this was no ordinary thing; it benefited immensely from it!

That was why it chose to submit.

Though somewhat rebellious, it could distinguish between a single satisfying meal and consistently satisfying meals!

Zhang Beixing was unaware of the colt’s shrewd calculations. He was simply riding on its back, in high spirits. He had finally subdued this BMW.

”Now that you’ve submitted to me, it’s not right for me to keep calling you ’Horse,’” Zhang Beixing began. ”I shall bestow upon you a name.

”Seeing your dark brown fur and all four hooves white, and that when you run, your momentum is overwhelming, swift as lightning, with a hint of a Kylin’s aspect...

”How about I call you Snow-Hoofed Black Qilin? And ordinarily, I’ll just call you Kylin?”

Zhang Beixing voiced the name he had recently conceived, feeling it was a perfect fit for the colt.

NEIGHHH—

The colt happily raised its head and neighed, clearly delighted with the name.

Seeing this, Zhang Beixing smiled slightly and stroked the soft mane on the back of its head. Then he remembered: so many days had passed since Golden Wind had gifted him the horse track. He’d been so preoccupied with making those martial artists train that this colt of his had remained cooped up in its stall, never let out. It must be terribly stifled by now. So, he harnessed it and flicked the reins.

”Let’s go! To the horse track! Today, I’ll let you have a good, hearty run!”

NEIGHHH—

The Snow-Hoofed Black Qilin immediately let out an excited, long neigh towards the sky. Then it broke into a gallop, carrying Zhang Beixing, joyfully dashing outwards. The past half-month of being confined to a stall had been unbearably stifling for it. Now that it had finally regained its freedom, it naturally wanted to run to its heart’s content.

As a result, a peculiar sight appeared on the road. Amidst the flow of traffic, a dark brown figure carrying a man weaved effortlessly through the vehicles. Behind them, drivers accelerating to fifty miles per hour could only watch as the dark brown figure receded into the distance, leaving them to question the very nature of their reality.
