Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Even though they couldn’t stand alone against countless adversaries like Zhang Beixing, they are definitely not to be underestimated.

Soon enough, they came armed.

Then, at that very moment, the helicopter that the crime syndicate leader had summoned finally arrived on site.

William Tony and the leader made no hesitation.

They boarded the helicopter directly and were about to flee.

However, the group of martial artists that had arrived were not about to give them that chance.

They immediately raised their guns, aimed at them, and pulled the trigger, intending to pin them down.

”Da-da-da—”

Flames burst forth as bullets ejected from the chamber.

William and the crime syndicate leader were not like Zhang Beixing, lacking the strength to dodge bullets.

Thus, at the critical moment, William grabbed the leader of the crime syndicate, using him as a human shield.

”Puh-puh-puh—”

Bullets pierced through, exploding within.

Under such a heavy strike, the crime syndicate leader was left stunned.

He widened his eyes, twisted his head with difficulty, and looked at William in disbelief.

Only to see the ice-cold expression on his face.

For such behavior, using a companion as a shield, it was as if he had no feelings.

The leader wanted to say something,

but William simply didn’t give him the opportunity.

After using him, he just pushed him outward.

With a dull ”thud”,

he was confirmed dead as he hit the ground.

Standing on the helicopter, William stared at the building below, eyes flickering, uncertain of his thoughts, until after a moment he took out a walkie-talkie:

”This is William Tony, we’ve been ambushed by martial artists here. Your leader got hit and killed in the chaos. Now, deploy all single-use RPGs and bombard the building.”

”Repeat, deploy all single-use RPGs and bombard the building!”

These words immediately reached the ears of all the criminals present.

Discovering that during their battle with the martial artists,

a group of martial artists had stealthily infiltrated their temporary base camp and even killed their leader, rather than anger the criminals, it filled them with joy.

Being individuals who skirted the edges of the law,

they gathered for interests, devoid of any brotherly camaraderie.

Now, with the leader dead,

it meant that this position was vacant.

They could step in and become the collaborators with D&E!

Thinking of this, the criminals were overjoyed.

They immediately responded to William’s orders.

They pulled out single-use RPGs and aimed at the building, just waiting for William’s command, so they could pull the trigger and reduce the building to rubble.

Seeing this,

at the back of the group,

through the drone’s footage, Sophia Zhou noticed their intentions, her brow furrowing instantly.

Because William’s tactic was extremely ruthless.

The entire building was set as the target for attack.

Once the building collapsed, everyone inside would almost certainly face death!

Not only did it signify the failure of Zhang Beixing’s rescue mission,

but it also meant that those martial artists who went in for the rescue would lose their lives in the process.

”Despicable!”

Sophia Zhou cursed angrily.

Yet she was powerless!

Because they were still some distance from the city center.

Even if they traveled at full speed, they simply wouldn’t make it in time.

William clearly understood this.

His face displayed a smug smile.

It’s just a pity he didn’t have a habit of wearing glasses, otherwise, pushing them up at this moment would intensify the feeling of toying with Zhang Beixing and the group of martial artists.

”Grandmaster Zhang, I admit you are strong, with my abilities, I can’t tackle you.”

”But if I can’t deal with you, can I not deal with those martial artists?”

”Just watch as they die before your eyes!”

”Open fire!”

With William’s order,

the criminals present simultaneously pressed the RPG triggers in their hands.

In this scenario,

those martial artists who had not yet evacuated the building inevitably felt a surge of despair.

With so many RPGs, even if they were lucky enough to survive the collapse of the building,

they would still be shaken to death by the aftermath of the explosion.

Understanding this, many sighed helplessly, closed their eyes, and prepared for death.

Yet, at this moment,

”Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh—”

Sounds of slicing through the air arose.

Before anyone could react,

several throwing knives flashed past from the side.

They precisely hit the RPGs not yet launched.

Instantly, the stored gunpowder was ignited.

”Boom-boom-boom—”

A cacophony of violent explosions echoed repeatedly.

Many hadn’t even had time to react before the RPGs they carried exploded them into blood mist.

”??? ”

”What’s happening?”

Seeing these sudden changes, everyone present was utterly stunned, clueless about the situation.

Especially the martial artists.

They had even prepared for death.

But...

”What happened?”

”Why did the RPGs they’re carrying suddenly explode on their own?”

”No, it’s not self-explosion, it seems it’s... shot and exploded by someone!”

”Shot and exploded by someone? How is that possible! Do you think I don’t understand the principles of an RPG? Its detonation touchpoints are at the head and end; either after pulling the trigger, it hits the target and the warhead safety is triggered for detonation, or after pulling the trigger, the fuse burns out for self-explosion. Now, some of them haven’t even had the chance to pull the trigger, yet the rocket exploded, telling me this is man-made? Who can achieve this!”
