Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

During their casual conversation, they reached a secretive deal that could not be disclosed.

Unfortunately, there was no red wine available here. Otherwise, a toast would have sealed the ambiance perfectly.

”By the way, Huo Honghao, how is the investigation going with the information I provided you?” Zhang Beixing asked, something having crossed his mind.

Previously, when he infiltrated the D&E laboratory alone in Ancient Rome, he hadn’t focused merely on eliminating people. During that process, he had also taken the opportunity to secure a great deal of research data. After returning to his country, he handed it over to Huo Honghao. Firstly, he thought this data could be beneficial for Great Xia’s human biology studies; turning it over would be a contribution to the nation. Secondly, he wanted to see if anything could be discovered from this data. Now, almost a week had passed since he returned and submitted the data. Surely, there should be some progress by now.

Hearing Zhang Beixing’s words, Huo Honghao replied with a somewhat grave expression, ”We’ve finished investigating the data you gave us. The progress in human experimentation at the D&E lab is faster than we had anticipated. They already have some preliminary results. This is probably why they have been actively targeting your Martial Artist community recently.”

He thus relayed the gist of what he knew.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Beixing’s expression turned stern.

”Alright, I understand,” he said.

Huo Honghao continued, ”We will handle this matter as soon as possible.” He nodded. ”Yes, please do so quickly. Although we do not yet fully understand their ultimate goal, one thing is clear—if they continue their research, your Martial Artist community will definitely become the primary victims. Their attempts to capture you will not cease. This is a battle of survival where either you exist or they do!”

Hearing this, Zhang Beixing took a deep drag from his cigarette. ”Alright, I understand...”

After this, he chatted with Huo Honghao for a while longer, until his cigarette was finished.

Huo Honghao, seeing that everything that needed to be said had been covered, ordered his personnel to hand Zhang Beixing the file containing information on D&E Group members. Then, he bid farewell and led his team away.

After Huo Honghao left, Zhang Beixing took the file to the side hall. He ate his meal while thoughtfully looking through the documents.

「The next day, May 16, 2019, Thursday.」

Just after waking up early that morning, Zhang Beixing received a call from Brono, a consultant from the Golden Wind. Brono mentioned that the horse farm was ready and invited Zhang Beixing to take a look.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Beixing was slightly taken aback; he clearly hadn’t expected them to act so quickly. He nodded in agreement.

Shortly after, Brono arrived and took Zhang Beixing to the outskirts of Shishi.

Once there, Zhang Beixing understood why Golden Wind had acted so swiftly: the proposal he had made a week ago was now realized. They hadn’t built it themselves; instead, they had found a horse farm relatively close to Zhang Beixing and spent a considerable sum to purchase it. The reason they had waited a few days to contact him was that they had been replacing the equipment.

Truly the old mafia of Ancient Rome, Zhang Beixing thought. Even after so many years of crackdowns, their financial resources were still formidable.

Then, led by Brono, Zhang Beixing toured the horse farm. The more he saw of it, the more satisfied he became. During the renovation, Brono and his team had considered everything. They had even specially set aside a plot of land and converted it into an open-air Martial Arts Training area for Zhang Beixing’s daily needs. This modification truly resonated with Zhang Beixing. It was exactly what he wanted.

Just moments before, he had been wondering how he would train those foreign Martial Artists. After all, there were fifty of them—not a small number. The training area needed to be large. Furthermore, to enhance training efficiency, the environment ideally should be secluded and quiet. He had even considered asking the president of Shi University to let him use the university’s gymnasium. But now, it seemed completely unnecessary!

With this horse farm, the issue of Martial Arts Training was easily resolved! Even food and lodging were no longer concerns.

”You’ve all been very considerate. Please extend my thanks to Kaiser,” Zhang Beixing said to Brono, putting down his pen after signing his name on the transfer contract.

”It’s our honor to serve you,” Brono responded with a smile. Then he stood up. ”Grandmaster Zhang, as everything is settled now, I won’t disturb you any further. Duties are pressing back in Ancient Rome, so I shall take my leave. You are welcome to visit Ancient Rome anytime.”

”Absolutely,” Zhang Beixing replied with a smile. He then walked with Brono to the entrance of the horse farm to see him off.

After Brono had left, Zhang Beixing thought for a moment, then dialed Liu Yi’s number, asking him to bring the foreign Martial Artists here.

Starting today: Martial Arts Training, prepare for battle!

「Half an hour later.」

Over a hundred people were gathered in the horse farm’s training area, including the Martial Artists from Great Xia and the fifty-odd foreign Martial Artists. Fortunately, Brono and his team had made the area quite large during renovations, so even with a hundred people present, it didn’t feel crowded.

”Has the list of Martial Artists below Level A been compiled yet?”

Seeing that everyone had arrived, Zhang Beixing turned his head and asked the person in charge from the Asian Martial Arts Association.

Hearing his question, the representative nodded repeatedly and handed Zhang Beixing the list that had been compiled and printed the previous night.
