Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1934 - 1717: War 2

The Elven Continent, a land of ancient forests and untouched wilderness, had always been a sanctuary of tranquility. Towering emerald canopies stretched endlessly, sunlight filtering through glowing leaves, casting an almost ethereal light upon the forest floor. Rivers of crystal-clear water wove through the land like veins of liquid silver.

But now—

That peace was gone.

All across the continent, dungeon gates that had remained stable for centuries cracked open, their barriers shattering like fragile glass.

BOOM!

From the depths of these ancient prisons, monsters poured out like a plague, their roars shaking the very trees. Massive beasts, once trapped within the depths of dungeons, rampaged across the lands, devouring everything in sight.

Wolf packs the size of carriages, their eyes glowing crimson, tore through elven villages, their howls sending shivers through even the bravest warriors.

Giant insectoid creatures, their chitinous shells impenetrable by normal blades, swarmed the canopies, dragging elves into the trees, their screams cut short.

Colossal treants, once peaceful guardians of nature, now corrupted by chaotic energy, ripped through the very forests they once protected.

And Dark wraiths, ghostly figures of pure malice, drifted silently through elven settlements, sucking the life from anyone unfortunate enough to cross their path.

The land was drowning in war.

The Elven Royal Guard, known for their unmatched agility and deadly precision with bows, were spread thin.

In Emerald Vale, the capital city of the Wind Elves, Queen Sylvara Moonshadow stood atop the great watchtower, her silver hair flowing like moonlight, watching the battle unfold with narrowed jade eyes.

”Elves of the Forest,” her voice carried through the wind, enhanced by magic, ”stand your ground! Protect the sacred land at all costs!”

Across the forests, the elven warriors responded.

The Dusk Rangers, cloaked in shadows, fired enchanted arrows, striking down monsters mid-charge.

The Verdant Blades, elite swordsmen, engaged in swift hit-and-run tactics, their movements graceful yet lethal.

The Elder Druids, their staffs glowing with ancient magic, summoned thick vines to entangle and crush their monstrous foes.

Despite their overwhelming skill, the sheer number of monsters was too much.

Across the continent, mercenaries and adventurers who had been exploring or trading within elven lands rushed to assist.

A group of S-rank adventurers from the guild battled against a giant Behemoth, a dungeon boss that should have never been set free.

”Keep hitting its legs! We need to bring it down!” shouted Garrick the Thunderfist, his war hammer crackling with lightning as he slammed into the creatureʼs joints.

Beside him, a female mage with fiery red hair, Selene the Infernal Spirit Mage, conjured a massive firestorm, incinerating swarms of monsters in an instant.

The elven warriors fought alongside these foreign heroes, their synchronized attacks forming a fragile defense.

Yet, for every monster slain, two more emerged from the ever-growing dungeon gates.

The forest itself trembled as something far worse began to stir deep within the largest dungeon—

A Nightmare Beast, an horror beast that had slumbered for centuries, now fully awakened.

Its presence alone caused shadows to writhe, the air to grow suffocatingly cold.

Elves and adventurers alike felt an overwhelming sense of dread.

Something was coming.

Something beyond their understanding.

Hopefully may the reinforcement come soon.

And as if to respond to their prayers it happened.

BOOOOOM!

A massive explosion shook the battlefield, sending shockwaves through the dense Elven forest. The chaotic battlefield was momentarily interrupted by a burst of spatial distortion, a swirling black vortex tearing open in the sky. From within it, three figures descended like harbingers of destruction. The Apostles of the Death God.

The first was Incursio, her ominous black clothes shimmering with dark energy, her hand gripping the handle of her sword. Her crimson eyes scanned the battlefield with calculated coldness.

Beside her, Aliceʼs white hair flowing as she floated slightly above the ground, her body surrounded by arcane sigils pulsing with magic. Her expression remained unreadable, but the sheer power radiating from her form sent shivers down the spines of both ally and enemy alike.

And then—

A shadow darker than the abyss itself loomed over them.

Noire.

She stood between them, her normally petite frame stretching as dark miasma engulfed her body. The transformation was rapid, terrifying—her form warping into something primal, monstrous, divine.

Her flesh twisted, bones cracking and expanding. Her eyes burned with primal hunger.

ROOOOAAAAARRR!!!

Her monstrous howl shook the heavens, silencing everything in its wake.

The World Devourer Wolf had awakened.

Noire lunged forward, her massive claws ripping apart the first wave of creatures before they could react. Her black fur was like the night itself, shadows curling around her body, turning her into a moving abyss.

The corrupted treants, towering as high as mountains, tried to crush her beneath their colossal limbs.

SNAP!

Noire bit clean through oneʼs trunk, the corrupted wood crumbling to dust as her devouring energy disintegrated it from existence.

Her body blurred—one moment she was on the ground, the next she was tearing through a swarm of flying insectoids, her fangs crushing their exoskeletons like brittle glass.

With every kill, her presence grew heavier, darker, more overwhelming.

She devoured not just flesh, but their very essence, fueling her rampage.

While Noire caused havoc, Incursio and Alice werenʼt idle.

Incursio vanished, reappearing in front of a towering three-headed dragon, her sword humming with destructive energy.

”Begone.”

With a single horizontal slash, a black crescent arc cut through the air—

SCHLING!

The three-headed dragon froze—then its entire body split apart, reduced to nothingness as Incursioʼs attack erased it from existence.

Meanwhile—

Alice floated above the battlefield, her eyes glowing with an eerie crimson light.

She raised a single finger—

”Celestial Ruin.”

From the sky, dozens of enormous magic circles formed, each one glowing like a miniature sun.

And then—

BOOOOOOOOM!

A rain of devastation poured down.

Each magic circle unleashed gigantic beams of cosmic energy, erasing entire legions of monsters in an instant.

The entire battlefield quaked under the sheer magnitude of destruction.

As the battle raged on, Noire let go of all restraint.

Her body doubled in size, her hunger reaching an all-time high.

She pounced on an S-rank dungeon overlord—a Nightmare Basilisk, its massive serpentine body covered in unholy armor.

It tried to resist, its petrifying gaze locking onto Noire—

But she was beyond such petty magic.

CHOMP!

Her fangs sank into its skull, crunching through like brittle stone.

The basilisk screeched in agony, but in mere seconds, its body crumbled away, its essence absorbed completely.

The battlefield, once overrun with monsters, was now littered with corpses, ashes, and frozen remains.

The fight was over.

As the dust settled, Noire slowly reverted back to her humanoid form, her black hair damp with sweat, her abyss like eyes glowing faintly.

Alice and Incursio stood nearby, surveying the ruins of what was once an overwhelming enemy force.

The elves and adventurers, who had struggled just moments ago, now stood in silent awe.

They had witnessed gods walk among them.

Their gazes shifted toward Noire, Incursio, and Alice, their expressions filled with both fear and admiration.

One elf warrior, his body trembling, whispered:

”Monsters… no, theyʼre something beyond monsters…”

Another, a veteran adventurer, clenched his fists and grinned.

”We might actually win this war.”

And at the center of it all, Noire smirked, licking the blood from her lips.

”That was fun. Whoʼs next?”
