Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1921 - 1705: Shadow Summons: One Man Army

The room was silent, save for the soft rhythm of Lilithʼs breathing as she slept peacefully beneath the silk covers. The glow of the underwater city outside the glass walls cast shimmering reflections across her sleeping form, but Alex was already lost in thought.

[Shadow Summons]—a power unlike any other.

He clenched his fist, feeling the pulsating energy of his new ability thrumming through his veins. With it, he could claim powerful slain enemies, binding their very essence into shadows to serve him.

It was a game-changer in the incoming war.

”Letʼs put this to the test.”

Without hesitation, Alex vanished.

A single step, and he was gone—teleporting far from the underwater city, far from the comforts of his five-star suite.

His next destination?

A high-level dungeon.

The Abyssal Ruins – A Dungeon of Forgotten Terrors.

When Alex reappeared, he stood at the entrance of an ancient ruin, deep within an uncharted valley.

The air was thick with powerful mana, and the scent of death lingered.

This place was known as the Abyssal Ruins—a dungeon so treacherous that entire armies had vanished within, swallowed by the horrors lurking inside.

Perfect.

If he was going to build a shadow army, this was the place to do it.

With a smirk, Alex stepped forward.

The dungeon was a labyrinth of darkness, twisting corridors lined with broken statues of long-forgotten gods.

Then—a tremor.

Something huge stirred in the shadows.

A monstrous Abyssal Titan emerged, its body carved from black stone, runes glowing faintly across its thick, armor-like skin.

[Abyssal Titan – Level 200]

It roared, shaking the entire chamber as it charged at Alex, its fists shattering the ground with each step.

Alex grinned. ”Perfect.”

In a blur, he vanished, reappearing just above the titanʼs head.

Silveria—now a spear—materialized in his hand.

With a single precise strike, he pierced through its skull, his blade drinking the monsterʼs very essence.

The titan froze, its massive form trembling as black energy leaked from its wounds

The Abyssal Titan let out a deafening roar of agony as black energy surged through its massive body.

Alex landed gracefully on the cracked ground below, Silveria still embedded in the titanʼs skull.

Then—silence.

The towering behemoth shuddered, its once-mighty form now twitching uncontrollably as the shadowy energy of his new ability took hold.

[Shadow Summons: Activation]

Alex smirked as he felt the power of Shadow Summons flood through him. His mana flared, wrapping around the dying titan like chains from the abyss itself.

Dark tendrils coiled around the massive creature, pulling it downward, its colossal form sinking into the shadows beneath Alexʼs feet.

”!!!!!”

The titan let out one final guttural howl before its body vanished into the void.

A heartbeat later, the shadows swirled around Alexʼs form, and a pair of glowing, crimson eyes flickered to life within the darkness behind him.

The Abyssal Titan had been reborn.

Alex turned his head slightly, a smug expression forming on his lips as he gazed at the towering shadowy silhouette of the titan, kneeling before him in silent servitude.

”Good.”

His first shadow summon—a success.

But this was only the beginning.

The Hunt Continued as there were more Shadows to Claim

With his first powerful summon secured, Alex pressed deeper into the Abyssal Ruins.

He wanted more.

The dungeon was teeming with powerful creatures—beasts of nightmare, forgotten spirits, and monstrosities that had devoured countless adventurers over the centuries.

Each time he encountered a foe, his spear struck true.

Each time he claimed victory, the shadows obeyed his command.

[Shadow Summons: Activated]

[New Shadow Acquired – Abyssal Wraith, Level 190]

A spectral being of pure darkness materialized at his side, its whispering form wrapped in ancient chains.

[New Shadow Acquired – Nightmare Chimera, Level 189]

A three-headed abomination, once the terror of the dungeon, now prowled in the shadows behind him, awaiting his orders.

One by one, the monsters of the Abyssal Ruins fell before him.

And one by one, they became his.

By the time Alex reached the final chamber, he had amassed a formidable force of shadow creatures, each one once a terrifying entity on its own.

Now, they stood loyal, obedient, and bound to his will.

This was power.

This was the birth of his Shadow Army.

The Dungeon Boss was a named monster – The Abyssal Tyrant.

At the heart of the ruins, deep within the ancient chamber, the final guardian awaited.

A being far greater than the others.

A monstrous entity of shadow and death—the Abyssal Tyrant.

Its form was massive, almost godlike, its body covered in obsidian armor, glowing red veins pulsing with cursed energy.

Its eyes locked onto Alex.

”Another fool come to die?” The Tyrantʼs voice rumbled through the chamber, ancient and filled with disdain.

Alex simply smiled.

”No,” he said, gripping his spear. ”Iʼve come to claim you.”

And the battle began.

The clash between Alex and the Abyssal Tyrant was nothing short of cataclysmic.

The dungeon shook as their blows shattered stone and sent waves of energy rippling through the air.

Alex weaved through the Tyrantʼs devastating attacks, his movements precise, his strikes lethal.

He wasnʼt alone.

His newly acquired Shadow Army joined the battle.

The Abyssal Titan, once a feared monster, now fought by his side, trading earth-shattering blows with the Tyrant.

The Nightmare Chimera struck from the shadows, its three heads tearing at the Tyrantʼs armor.

The Abyssal Wraith darted through the battlefield, slipping between realities to deliver attacks from unseen angles.

It was a battle of dominion.

Shadow against Shadow.

And Alex stood above them all.

With one final strike, Silveria, still in its spear form, pierced through the Abyssal Tyrantʼs chest, the blade glowing with a power beyond this world.

The Tyrant staggered, its massive form trembling as its life force was drained away.

Alex raised a hand.

The shadows surged.

And the Abyssal Tyrant knelt before him.

[Shadow Summons: Activated]

A new general was born into his army.

And Alex smirked.

His power had reached a new level.

And this was just the beginning.

As expected it was a broken skill, the only downside would be the downgrading level of the shadowed monsters, if it was previously level 160 for example its level would decrease as it became a shadow, decreasing in few levels and also no retaining all of its skills. Well apart those downside Shadow Summons could be considered as a broken ability because you would have an undying army under your control, they would never tire out, know no fear, would never run out of stamina, they would absolutely follow their master order, there was no broken ability than this. If you want to benefit from this ability you must possess a lot of mana, something Alex doesnʼt lack. A perfectly fit ability for him.
