Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1914 - 1698: Playing Games

After a full day of exploration, relaxation, and excitement, Alex and Lilith decided to end their perfect evening in style.

They arrived at The Oceanʼs Embrace, the most luxurious five-star hotel in Velyria Unaterra.

The moment they stepped inside, they were greeted by pristine marble floors that shimmered like pearls, illuminated by floating crystal chandeliers.

The walls were designed with transparent enchanted glass, offering a breathtaking view of the underwater world beyond.

Even from the lobby, they could see colorful coral gardens, majestic sea creatures drifting lazily past, and mystical deep-sea lantern fish that flickered like floating stars in the abyss.

A well-dressed concierge greeted them with a polite bow.

”Lord Alex, Lady Lilith, your VIP suite is ready. Please, allow me to escort you.”

Without needing to check in, they were led to a private elevator made of enchanted seashells, which ascended smoothly, encased in magic that allowed them to see the entire underwater city glowing beneath them.

When the elevator doors opened, they stepped into the top-floor VIP suite—the most exclusive room in the entire hotel.

The moment the doors opened, a stunning panoramic view greeted them.

The suite was surrounded by massive, enchanted glass walls, making it feel as if they were floating inside the sea itself.

Through the crystal-clear water, they could see bioluminescent fish weaving glowing trails, sea dragons moving gracefully in the distance, and gentle waves rippling above them, reflecting the deep twilight glow of the surface.

A soft, ambient blue light filled the room, mimicking the natural illumination of the ocean.

At the center of the suite was a lavish, king-sized bed, crafted from dark obsidian wood with silver accents, its silk sheets dyed in deep shades of navy and sapphire.

A circular skylight above the bed revealed the open sea above, where faint moonlight filtered down through the water, casting a dreamlike shimmer across the room.

To the right of the bed was a private lounge area with plush velvet sofas, a floating bar stocked with rare deep-sea wines, and a fireplace made of enchanted coral that burned with ethereal blue flames.

On the left side of the suite was the luxurious bathroom, featuring:

A massive sunken bathtub, sculpted from pure black pearl, filled with enchanted water that adjusted to their perfect temperature.

A cascade waterfall shower, where purified ocean water flowed like a gentle waterfall from the ceiling.

A selection of rare underwater herbs and oils, known to soothe the body and replenish energy.

Beyond the main room, a private balcony extended outward, enclosed in a transparent force field to keep the water at bay.

From here, they could step out into the ocean itself, floating effortlessly in a bubble of breathable air, watching the mesmerizing deep-sea world all around them.

Lilith walked forward, running her fingers along the glass, her violet eyes shimmering in the dim light.

”This place is… breathtaking.”

Alex smirked, tossing his coat onto a nearby chair.

”You really went all out with this one.”

She turned, a sly smile on her lips.

”Only the best for us.”

A soft sound echoed through the suite as the automated magic engaged, adjusting the lighting to a softer glow and releasing a faint, soothing scent of ocean breeze and midnight flowers.

Lilith stretched, her figure silhouetted against the glowing city beyond.

”Well, after a day like this, I think we deserve to enjoy this room properly.”

Alex chuckled, walking toward the bar.

”Agreed. Shall we start with a drink?”

She smirked. ”Make it a strong one.”

As he poured their drinks, the night stretched ahead of them, promising an evening of luxury, warmth, and perhaps… a little more.

The night in their luxurious underwater suite was filled with laughter, teasing, and a growing warmth between them.

After pouring their drinks—a rare deep-sea wine that shimmered like liquid sapphire—Alex and Lilith settled into the plush seating area near the floating blue-fireplace.

Lilith swirled her drink, smirking. ”So, what shall we play first?”

Alex leaned back, giving her a lazy smile.

”Something competitive, obviously. I know how much you hate losing.”

She rolled her eyes but accepted the challenge.

The first game was Demonʼs Gambit, a strategic board game played with enchanted pieces that moved based on the playerʼs mana control.

The rules were simple—outthink, outmaneuver, and trap your opponentʼs King before they trapped yours.

Lilith played aggressively, launching powerful moves to dominate the board early. Alex, however, played patiently, setting up traps.

At one point, she thought she had him cornered—only to realize he had lured her into a perfect checkmate.

She groaned. ”Damn it. I walked right into that.”

Alex chuckled, raising his glass in victory.

”Want a rematch?”

Lilith smirked. ”Oh, I plan on crushing you next round.”

And so, they played three more rounds, each game becoming more intense, more competitive.

But in the end… Alex won all of them.

Lilith sighed, shaking her head. ”You and your damn strategy.”

Alex smirked, pouring her another drink.

”Hey, you still have a chance to beat me at the next game.”

Lilith narrowed her eyes. ”Oh, I will.”

With the deep-sea wine warming their veins, they moved on to something less strategic but far more entertaining—Truth or Dare.

It started simple:

• ”Truth: What was your most embarrassing moment?”

• ”Dare: Finish your drink in one go.”

• ”Truth: Do you regret anything in your past?”

As the questions became more personal, the tension between them shifted—the usual banter softened, becoming something deeper.

Then Lilith smirked, tilting her head. ”Alright, Alex. Truth or dare?”

He took another sip of his drink. ”Dare.”

Her violet eyes gleamed with mischief. ”Kiss me.”

The room fell silent.

Alex set his glass down, his golden eyes locking onto hers.

”Thatʼs your dare?” His voice was amused, but his heart beat just a little faster.

Lilith leaned closer, her smirk fading into something softer. ”Afraid?”

Alex chuckled. ”Never.”

And then, he closed the distance.

It started slow—a soft brush of lips, testing, teasing.

But when Lilith tilted her head slightly, deepening the kiss, Alex responded, his hand instinctively moving to her waist, pulling her closer.

The taste of sapphire wine lingered on her lips, sweet and intoxicating.

For a moment, the world outside the glass walls—the vast ocean, the glowing city, the creatures drifting by—faded away.

There was only warmth, only the quiet hum of tension finally breaking.

By the time they pulled apart, the air between them felt charged, something unspoken hanging in the silence.

Lilith licked her lips, her smirk returning. ”Well, that was… acceptable.”

Alex chuckled, leaning back. ”Just acceptable?”

She huffed. ”Fine. Maybe a little better than that.”

Alex smirked. ”Glad to hear it.”

They sat in silence for a moment, the sound of the ocean beyond the only witness to what had just passed between them.

Lilith sighed, finishing her drink. ”We should probably get some rest.”

Alex nodded, but there was still a lingering tension in the air, something neither of them acknowledged.

For now, they let it be—but both knew this was only the beginning.
