Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1913: Chaper 1697: Before the main event

Chuckling, Alex took his own glass, enjoying the smooth yet slightly salty taste of the wine.

Their lunch consisted of rare ocean delicacies, including:

Skywhale Carpaccio, thinly sliced and seasoned with deep-sea spices.

Golden Lobster Tail, roasted over enchanted blue fire.

Tidal Fruit Sorbet, a refreshing dessert that melted in their mouths.

As they ate, the ocean beyond them shimmered, and a pod of massive sea serpents swam past the restaurant, their sleek, scaled bodies reflecting the sunlight like liquid silver.

Lilith rested her chin on her hand, watching the creatures with interest.

”I could get used to this.”

Alex smirked. ”So could I.”

For a moment, the two simply enjoyed the atmosphere—the peaceful lull of the ocean, the hushed murmurs of other diners, and the sheer beauty of the world beneath the waves.

After their incredible meal, Alex and Lilith continued their adventure through Velyria Unaterra, indulging in the cityʼs most luxurious experiences.

Lilith stretched lazily, letting out a satisfied sigh. ”That was a good meal. Now, I think itʼs time for some real relaxation.”

Alex raised an eyebrow. ”What do you have in mind?”

She smirked. ”The Azure Tranquility. Itʼs the most exclusive spa and massage parlor in the entire underwater city. Even demon royalty would have trouble getting in without a reservation.”

Alex smirked back. ”Lucky for us, I assume you already planned ahead?”

Lilith tossed a small, enchanted token into his hand. It shimmered with deep blue magic, engraved with a crest of a serene ocean wave—the parlorʼs insignia.

”Of course.”

The two made their way through the elegant corridors of Velyria Unaterra until they arrived at a grand building made of polished white coral, its exterior glowing softly under enchanted moonstone lanterns. A faint mist of relaxing scents—lavender, ocean breeze, and lotus petals—drifted through the entrance.

Upon entering, they were greeted by attendants in flowing silk robes, their voices soothing as they led Alex and Lilith to a private suite.

The massage room was a masterpiece of tranquility, featuring a massive glass wall that overlooked the open sea, where bioluminescent jellyfish floated like tiny stars in an endless blue abyss.

Soft oceanic music played in the background, blending seamlessly with the natural sounds of water flowing through the roomʼs decorative fountains.

Alex and Lilith changed into silken robes before lying on their respective massage tables.

Two expert masseuses—a graceful mermaid with shimmering teal scales and a tall, lithe elf with ocean-touched silver hair—began their work.

The moment warm, enchanted oil touched Alexʼs back, he let out a low sigh.

”Well… this might be the best idea youʼve had all day,” he muttered with a grin.

Lilith chuckled softly from the other table. ”I know.”

The mermaid masseuse worked expertly, pressing into Alexʼs tense muscles, releasing the built-up tension from his countless battles. Her fingers danced along his spine, using water magic to stimulate energy flow, while the elf used gentle wind magic to cool his body, providing perfect balance.

Lilith, on the other hand, let out a pleased sigh as the elf masseuse skillfully kneaded her shoulders, using a mix of pressure techniques and soothing magical pulses to relax every fiber of her being.

For a moment, neither of them spoke—just enjoying the rare feeling of utter peace and comfort.

As the session neared its end, the mermaid whispered, ”Would you like the full experience, my lord?”

Alex raised an eyebrow, glancing at Lilith, who smirked knowingly.

”The full experience,” the mermaid explained, ”includes a deep-sea hot spring bath and an herbal relaxation tea session.”

Alex chuckled. ”Why not? Weʼre already here.”

Lilith nodded in agreement.

They were led to a private bathing chamber, where a large, steaming pool of deep-sea minerals awaited them. The water glowed faintly, filled with natural rejuvenating properties.

Slipping into the warm water, both of them felt their bodies instantly relax even further.

Lilith stretched her arms over the edge, eyes half-lidded. ”I could stay here forever.”

Alex smirked. ”Weʼd get nothing done.”

She chuckled. ”True. But wouldnʼt that be nice?”

For a while, they simply soaked in the serene silence, watching the jellyfish drift by the glass walls.

Once they finished, they sipped on a special deep-sea herbal tea, which left a cooling sensation in their throats while rejuvenating their stamina.

Feeling completely refreshed, the two decided to end their afternoon at one of Velyria Unaterraʼs most breathtaking attractions—the Luminous Abyss Aquarium.

This wasnʼt an ordinary aquarium.

Instead of being enclosed in glass, visitors walked through an open magical space, allowing them to feel as if they were floating inside the ocean itself.

The water was held at bay by an invisible force field, making it possible to see, hear, and even reach out to the fish without actually getting wet.

Schools of rainbow-colored fish swam around them, forming mesmerizing patterns, while enormous sea creatures like skywhales and abyssal turtles glided through the deeper layers of the ocean.

At one point, a group of luminous crystal eels slithered gracefully past Lilith, their bodies flickering like neon lights.

She extended a hand, and one of them curled around her fingers before darting away, leaving behind a trail of sparkling mist.

Alex, on the other hand, found himself face-to-face with a colossal sea dragon, its golden eyes studying him curiously.

The creature let out a deep, melodic hum, as if acknowledging him, before slowly swimming away into the depths.

Lilith raised an eyebrow. ”Even sea dragons are drawn to you. Are you sure youʼre not secretly some ocean deity?”

Alex chuckled. ”Who knows? Maybe in another life.”

[Tch! Looking at him acting all smug when you are well aware it was because of your dragon lineage.] Silveria watching the couple from her world pouted but Alex ignored her, secretly planning on compensating later.

They continued walking through the aquatic wonderland, taking in the beauty of the oceanʼs mysteries.

Finally, as they reached the end of the exhibit, they stepped onto a platform that gently floated back to the surface, returning them to the main city.

Lilith stretched, looking completely at ease.

”That was… amazing,” she admitted.

Alex nodded. ”Definitely one of the best days Iʼve had in a while.”

She smirked. ”Told you Iʼd make this worth your time.”

He chuckled. ”Alright, Iʼll give you credit for that.”

As the sun began to set, casting a golden shimmer over the underwater city, they knew their date was far from over.

And there were still more wonders to explore.
