Who Let Him Play Yugioh? (Re-Upload)

It was as if the shackles of time and space had been shattered—a gigantic white dragon with three proud heads appeared, its gaze piercing the very fabric of reality. Its wings stirred up a storm of light, a terrifying vortex that seemed poised to sweep away all creation.

Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, summoned!

The Wicked God sneered, ”To think you’d summon the Ultimate Dragon during my turn. I see, the ’Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon’ and ’Blue-Eyes White Dragon’ that were locked down by King Beast Barbaros are now both gone from the field as fusion materials. With no more targets, Barbaros’ effect fizzles out.

You used Fusion Summon to evade the King Beast’s attack. Not bad.”

Kaiba replied, ”Heh, ten years have transformed me completely, whereas you so-called Wicked Gods have gone nowhere. With your limited imagination, this is the best you could come up with, isn’t it?”

Wicked God: ”What?”

Kaiba raised his voice, ”Evade an attack? No, the true power of the Ultimate Dragon is far beyond that! Quick-Play Spell ’Ultimate Fusion’—the other effect!

When using this card for a Fusion Summon, if any of the materials used are ’Blue-Eyes White Dragon’ or ’Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon’ present on the field, for each such card, you can destroy a face-up card on your opponent’s field!”

The Wicked God’s face finally changed. ”Fusion Summon with destruction on top?”

Kaiba scoffed. ”And this destruction effect doesn’t target—so even monsters that can’t be targeted are easily destroyed. For a bottom-tier monster like yours, that kind of protection isn’t even necessary.

Begone, King Beast Barbaros.”

As the effect activated, ’Ultimate Fusion’ unleashed a dazzling white light. The energy gathered into the newly-fused Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, swirling in its three maws before blasting forth as a torrent of light.

King Beast Barbaros was utterly defenseless, pierced through the chest by the overwhelming energy, his mighty form rapidly melting and exploding into nothingness.

The Ultimate Dragon turned to the ruined remains of its foe, heads held high, unleashing a sky-shaking roar.

”Let’s skip the meaningless parts,” Kaiba Seto said coldly. ”Such boring monsters are no match for my Blue-Eyes. If you don’t show your real strength soon, even as an Wicked God you’ll be destroyed instantly.”

The Wicked God replied in a grave tone: ”Seems I underestimated you. Very well. As you wish.”

He slowly drew another card.

”I activate the Spell Card ’Magnet Circle LV2’,” the Wicked God declared. ”Special Summon a Machine-type monster of Level 2 or lower from my hand.”

A surge of electricity exploded onto the field, and an electromagnetic circle materialized in the air. Mechanized components appeared, drawn together by the current, forming a small metal pot.

”Special Summon ’Dimension Jar’.”

[Dimension Jar, DEF 200]

”Next, I activate the Spell Card ’Machine Duplication’,” the Wicked God continued. ”Targeting a Machine-type monster with 500 or less ATK, I Special Summon as many copies as possible from my deck.

Naturally, I choose ’Dimension Jar’.”

His deck automatically searched, shrouded briefly in dark mist, then spat out two cards. The Wicked God drew them, and both lit up instantly.

”Special Summon two more ’Dimension Jars’!”

[Dimension Jar, DEF 200] x2

”Heh, three monsters at once—readying a tribute for a God,” Kaiba sneered. ”But you’ve already used your normal summon this turn. These weaklings will be crushed by my Blue-Eyes next turn. Don’t tell me you think they’ll survive that long?”

”No need to worry yourself, Kaiba Seto,” the Wicked God replied.

He continued: ”I activate the Spell Card ’Card of Burial Magic’—banish three Spell Cards from my graveyard to draw two cards.” (Anime card)

The Wicked God plucked three Spell Cards from his graveyard and tossed them into the air.

”I banish ’Pot of Greed’, ’Machine Duplication’, and ’Magnet Circle LV2’ to draw two cards.”

He drew two cards.

”You think because I already summoned King Beast Barbaros this turn, you needn’t fear the might of the Gods? Heh. Dueling with Gods defies all logic—remember this well!

I activate the Quick-Play Spell ’Quick Summon’! This lets me perform an additional normal summon from my hand this turn!” (Anime card)

”Heh, using a spell to gain an extra normal summon,” Kaiba smirked, aware of what was coming, but scoffing in anticipation. ”So it’s coming, is it?”

”I offer all three ’Dimension Jars’ on the field as tribute!”

The Wicked God’s shadowy hand was raised high, his voice booming like thunder.

”Incarnation of ultimate terror—

The Wicked Dreadroot!!!”

Boundless darkness consumed the three Dimension Jars, their small mechanical bodies swiftly ground to dust.

What appeared next, summoned by the darkness, was truly the ultimate embodiment of all worldly terror—a symbol of endless darkness and despair. Just gazing upon its massive form was a tremendous shock to the mind; any duelist without a steely will could not hope to stand before it.

Its skeleton, like armor, was not forged by mortal hands, but formed from the bones of beings who died of terror, fused and refined over endless ages by the Wicked God’s power—a battle armor and a symbol of its status. Atop its demonic head sat a crown of skeletal bones; to meet its gaze was to hear countless twisted struggles and screams of despair.

When Kaiba first encountered such a being years ago, he too was shaken, his spirit suppressed by the sudden shock—perhaps the reason for his initial defeat.

But he was no longer the person he was then. His strength and willpower had soared, and this time he was prepared—his face showed no real surprise, only mocking derision.

”That’s it?”

The Wicked God felt his authority challenged, anger flaring in his heart.

”Don’t get too full of yourself, Kaiba Seto,” he said coldly. ”Your new Blue-Eyes may have some power, but to act arrogant before a God—you’re still far from worthy.

The Wicked Dreadroot’s effect! As long as this card is on the field, all other monsters’ ATK and DEF are halved!

Wicked God’s Dread!”

Boundless terror erupted from the demon, affecting even the mighty Ultimate Dragon.

”Disappear, Blue-Eyes,” the Wicked God commanded. ”With my own power—Dreadroot—attack ’Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon’!”
