Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”ROAR—”

A shrill roar erupted from the Array. The sound was like countless pieces of iron grinding against stone, a cacophony of innumerable sharp, tiny noises all at once, full of chaos and discord.

Wei’en furrowed his brow. He could already faintly make out a hazy silhouette swaying to its feet in the smoke, letting out a series of low growls amidst the cacophony.

”Grraaaghh... gurgle... kill!”

[You have been locked on by the killing intent of an Undead Creature—a zombie. Evaluation: An undead with some character. Nice. Reward: Survival Points +1.]

[Note 1: Undead Creature—Zombie, transformed from Olivia Tapia. Possesses the ’Deadpool’ identity. Resilience Level and Spirit Level: 180. Innate Abilities: Death Foresight, Corpse Eater. Skills: Fearful Wail, Claw Strike.]

[Note 2: Death Foresight, one of the characteristics of the Origin of Death, provides a certain chance to sense impending danger or disaster.]

Wei’en paid no mind to the little zombie’s killing intent. ’Her stats are too low. She poses no threat to me.’

Besides, he could already feel her presence—this had to be his ability to control the Undead Creatures with the ’Deadpool’ identity.

The feeling was... so long as he willed it, he could send her to her death!

”I suddenly don’t want to throw you into the Undead World anymore...”

Wei’en watched as the Zombie Liaison Officer’s true form was slowly revealed. She still retained her original appearance and figure.

Her skin, however, was now more pallid and dry, and her eyes had turned deathly white, just like Shawa’s. The wound between her eyebrows had formed a blood-red sigil, lending her face a strange, eerie beauty.

At that moment, the Array at her feet had still not vanished. The gradually dissipating gray mist swirled around once more, reforming into a vortex-like gateway.

Wei’en could faintly hear strange sounds coming from within the Gray Mist Gate, like the cries of a baby mixed with the shouts of an old man.

’Is that the Undead World?’

’It sounds even more bizarre and terrifying than the Abyss World.’

He then turned his gaze to the newborn Zombie Liaison Officer. ’A zombie with the Death Foresight ability should have a comfortable life in the Undead World, right?’

’Time for a test!’

With a thought, Wei’en tried using his control ability on the ’Deadpool’ for the first time.

’Soul Rend!’

”ROAR—Yanis, no!”

’The Death Master?’

’She can speak the Gonzalez language?’

Wei’en raised an eyebrow. ’Is she calling me the Death Master?’

Before he could ask, the Gray Mist Gate began to slowly swallow the Zombie Liaison Officer. Countless small, withered arms shot out from the gateway, dragging the wailing, struggling Zombie Liaison Officer inside.

”Death will eventually come.”

Wei’en curled his lip upon hearing this line in the Gonzalez language emerge from the gate.

’Isn’t that just stating the obvious?’

And as the Rune Array on the ground disappeared, the once-clear sense of control he had over the Zombie Liaison Officer in his mind gradually began to blur.

It was as if a membrane now separated them, preventing him from directly controlling the Deadpool undead any longer.

’An Undead Creature being pulled directly into the Undead World after its transformation... that does match the descriptions from the School.’

”I hope you experience some... special hardships in that world. I’m sure it will be quite a spectacle.”

Wei’en chuckled softly. This was his greatest ”blessing” for the Liaison Officer...

He then turned and walked to his workbench to start brewing Abnormality-Suppressing Potions.

’I’ve got to start making some serious money.’

Before he could figure out what kind of treasure to offer the Black Pearl, he needed to earn at least four thousand gold pounds.

’As for whether I’ll actually need the money... I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.’

Worse comes to worst, he could just disguise himself as Marco, break through the Black Pearl’s sea barrier, and head straight for the Southern Continent.

’Hmm, the worst that could happen is Marco ends up on the Black Pearl’s wanted list.’

’Not a big deal, though. That playboy Marco will probably just stay inside the city-state anyway.’

’The Black Pearl wouldn’t go all the way to Caster to hunt him down just for a few gold pounds, right?’

After nearly two hours, Wei’en had finished brewing ten bottles of Abnormality-Suppressing Potion: three of Excellent grade and seven of Perfect grade.

A single bottle of Perfect-grade Abnormality-Suppressing Potion was worth one hundred gold pounds, making it an ideal way to earn money.

”To make more money, I guess I’ll have to reveal some of my talent for brewing Magic Potions.”

Wei’en put away the Magic Potions and checked his attribute panel, his brow furrowing slightly.

Resilience Level: 5585.8

Spirit Level: 5588.5

Origin: 363 (364) (1 point sealed)

Survival Points: 7050

’Over three hundred points of Origin... that would probably scare Flanta to death. What was it last time we met... thirty? Or forty?’

Wei’en shook his head, too lazy to try and recall. He directly used his Spiritual Conversion talent to evenly convert his Origin Power into his Spirit and Resilience Levels, leaving only fifty-one points of Origin behind.

’This number just barely reaches the Director level. After a few days, it shouldn’t seem too conspicuous.’

With that thought, he took out his entry ticket to the Nightmare Realm World, pressed it to his forehead, and felt his consciousness begin to ascend.

”...Buying corpses of Dawn Church Holy Professionals! Highest prices in the Transfer Area! Don’t miss out!”

”Flanta, it’s great that you’re rich, but you can’t just go around crashing the market!”

”Sorry, I’m just a little short of my promotion...”

”Didn’t they say the new Heroic Saintess is on the Eastern Continent hunting down Wizards from the Blood Spirit School? How can anyone still dare to collect their bodies here?”

”You haven’t heard? A few days ago, some absolute monster killed several thousand Holy Professionals. These Blood Spirit Mages caught wind of it and are here to try their luck...”

”What kind of madman would dare to kill so many people from the Dawn Church?”

”Heard it was a Mutated Mage, one from the Ghost Soul School.”
