Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”So this is the Cordo Sea? What a lovely view~”

Clelia stood at the ship’s bow, gazing at the tranquil, azure sea. A smile graced her lips, as if her heart, once tainted by corruption, had been cleansed just a little.

’Hmph. That little scoundrel. When he was weak, he was so respectful to me. Now that he’s strong, he treats me like this. I could just eat him all up...’

Recalling the helpless look in Wei’en’s eyes as he returned to the Joker Space, she couldn’t help but let out a chuckle.

’All I have to do is steer the ship south, right?’

’What’s so hard about that?’

’I’ll be fine as long as I just follow the sun.’

’Yep, that’s right!’

With that thought, Clelia moved a chair and sat leisurely on the bow’s deck, directing the puppets to adjust the sails, manage the helm, and scrub the deck...

From a distance, with sailors bustling all over the ship, it looked just like a normally operating vessel.

’I feel like I’ve forgotten something... What was it?’

Clelia opened her eyes and glanced around. Seeing the calm sea, she pondered for a moment before closing her eyes again to bask in the warm sunlight.

’Who cares? As long as the direction is right, it’ll be fine!’

...

...

Meanwhile, Wei’en, busy in the Joker Space, had no idea that Clelia—the one who had confidently guaranteed there would be no problems—was already steering the sailboat at full tilt in the wrong direction, heading farther and farther away from the Southern Continent...

If he knew, he would have absolutely lost it on her!

At that moment, Wei’en was examining the letter from the Ghost Soul School conferring his status as an Honorary Mage, along with an authorization letter from the Intelligence Department.

”For Wizard Wei’en Loft, to be opened personally.”

”In recognition of the legendary feat you accomplished in the Caster City State on the evening of August 21, 1578 of the New Era, which has shaken the continents, you are hereby granted the status of Honorary Mage! (An identification card is enclosed with this letter.)”

”On the path to pursuing knowledge, death is not the end. —The Wizard Management Office of the Ghost Soul School.”

The other authorization letter was worded similarly, but the signatory was the School’s Intelligence Department.

After reading them, Wei’en took the two cards representing his new statuses out of the blue and white box.

The front of the card representing his Wizard status was engraved with a full-body portrait of him. In the image, he wore a Wizard Robe bearing the Ghost Soul School’s insignia and had a brilliant smile on his face.

’Quite exquisite... Huh?’

Just as he was about to flip the card over, his image on it suddenly changed, shifting into the bizarre, mutated form he had taken before—his face now had eight black pupils and an eye sigil between his brows, while several black lightning bolts and tentacles writhed behind him.

’So that’s what I looked like back then? Pretty cool, actually.’

Wei’en smiled and flipped the card to its back, which was simply engraved with some of his basic information, like his Wizard identification number and name.

’The Ghost Soul School must have a way to verify the identity on these cards.’

The other card, for his Intelligence Department identity, was identical to the Wizard card on the front. The back, however, bore a few conspicuous words in the Gonzalez language: Leader of the Shadow Special Intelligence Team.

’Shadow Group Leader?’

’Did they add the word ”Special” on purpose?’

’A position like this must be rare within the Intelligence Department, right?’

Wei’en looked at the two cards and sighed softly. ’This is more than enough to show the School’s sincerity... Not only did the Ghost Soul School not punish me for offending Dawn and the Shetland Kingdom, but they even acknowledged my Wizard status and promised to protect me... I don’t know how much of this is due to my strength, but either way, what little conscience I have left won’t let me turn away this goodwill.’

’I’ll find a way to repay them in the future...’

Then, Wei’en glanced over at Tina and the other two. Seeing them diligently studying the Gonzalez language, he decided not to interrupt.

Ever since the incident in Caster, his sense of urgency had grown even more intense.

It wasn’t just because of Ales, who had his eyes on Tina, but also due to the pressure of unknown dangers they might face in the future.

He not only pushed himself but also compelled Shawa, the white-haired girl, and the others to seize every spare moment and do everything possible to improve themselves.

Only by doing so would they have enough strength to protect themselves when facing those unknown entities.

With this in mind, Wei’en opened the attribute panel in his mind to check his stats.

After killing those Holy Professionals, even though he was now wanted by Dawn, the rewards he had obtained were immense.

Just from killing around five thousand Holy Professionals, he had gained rewards comparable to killing more than ten thousand Vazquez Warriors.

’Seventy thousand survival points... It seems like a lot, but in reality, it’s only enough to upgrade a few limited skills.’

Wei’en frowned as he looked at his skill list, where upgrading a single level of Magic could cost thirty or even fifty thousand survival points. ’The Ghost Meditation Technique, the Gonzalez language, and my marksmanship upgrade only require ten thousand each, but the others...’

These were three of his most frequently used abilities. With the Ghost Meditation Technique in particular, he could already gain 0.16 points for his Spirit Level per hour.

If he upgraded it another level, the effects of his Meditation would double. He estimated he would be able to gain 7 points for his Spirit Level per day. At that rate, to raise his stats back to the level they were at when he fought Ales...
