Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

’Another five thousand seven hundred-plus days?’

’Not bad, not bad. Around fifteen years to reach a level comparable to the Legendary tier—that’s pretty good!’

The second one, the Gonzalez language, was what frustrated Wei’en the most.

Although he had reached the Expert level, after flipping through Clelia’s Era Relic, he found there were still nearly half the words on the third page that he didn’t recognize.

There was no other way; he had to level up the Gonzalez language again.

As for his gunsmanship, it was the ability he used most in combat, so spending survival points to upgrade it was a given.

”’The Blink Spell needs thirty thousand, Corpse Explosion Skill needs forty thousand, and Necromancer’s Claw needs fifty thousand...’”

After weighing his options, Wei’en decided to upgrade the Blink Spell.

For one, this spell was extremely useful for both combat and escape. For another, he needed to reserve some survival points for other upgrades.

For example, he planned to upgrade knowledge trees like Runology and Potionology before reaching the Southern Continent.

With this in mind, Wei’en quietly walked toward the other side of the theater.

He wasn’t sure if upgrading his skills this time would trigger those visions again. To avoid disturbing Tina and the others, he had to return to his workshop first.

’Panel, allocate points!’

As the skills upgraded, Wei’en felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.

’Is it happening again?’

”One head, two heads, three heads...”

That murmuring voice echoed through the workshop again, and the ghosts above Wei’en’s head each split off a new head of their own.

”Baba, are there two of me?”

The ghost asked quizzically, looking at the head opposite it, which was identical down to the Rune Branding on its brow.

But Wei’en didn’t respond; he had already lost consciousness and fallen into a deep slumber.

Immediately after, before the ghost’s four heads could react, the four newly-formed heads gave them an eerie smile, then drew close and slowly merged back into one.

Apu, Luno, Rexi, Aus, Sijunen, Tecsi, Lilith...

After an unknown amount of time, Wei’en’s consciousness gradually returned. He opened his eyes and surveyed his surroundings.

”As expected... I’m here again, aren’t I?”

At this moment, what appeared before him was the same giant, withered tree from before, and beneath it, the bound monster with his own face growing on its chest.

However, compared to last time, both of their appearances had changed slightly.

The withered tree had grown thicker, and the monster had become taller. The dead branches and tentacles on them had also multiplied, extending out into the surrounding void.

”Heh heh heh... You’re becoming more and more like me, Wei’en,” the face on the monster’s chest, identical to his own, said with a laugh.

’It can talk now?’

Wei’en looked at it calmly. ”What exactly are you?”

”Me? I am you, of course. The you that is bound to this withered world.” The twisted tentacles on the monster’s body snaked upwards, coiling around the withered tree behind it as if to devour it.

”Your current appearance is far more terrifying than before, and you’ve gained quite a bit of intelligence. I remember the first time, you were just a monster muttering those Gonzalez words.”

Wei’en had grown more curious about this monster. He didn’t mind hearing it out.

Excluding the time he advanced to an Official Mage, when he hadn’t come here, this was his third visit.

”Change is everywhere.” The monster’s eyes looked upward. ”You only need to know that I am you, and sooner or later, I will become you.”

”Is that so?”

”Believe me, you will be very happy when that day comes.”

The face revealed a grotesque smile, its sinister and evil appearance just like his own during his previous aberration, as if filled with the desire to destroy everything.

”So, you’re not going to say anything else?”

”That day is coming!” the monster roared, opening its maw wide. The face, meanwhile, smirked sinisterly, its eyes filled with a craving for Wei’en.

”Oh.”

Wei’en stepped closer, brushing his hand across the tentacles on its body, feeling the faint, almost non-existent sensation. He said lightly, ”No matter who you are, I will drag you out... and grind your bones to dust!”

KACHA.

After speaking, he didn’t hesitate. He smashed his fist into its face, shattering the entire space once again, just as he had when he first entered this place.

”I’ll be waiting... heh heh.”

Watching the scene shatter like glass, Wei’en vaguely understood. This must be the secret hidden within the Ghost Meditation Technique.

’A negative origin that wants to devour its host, or the source of everything?’

A murderous glint flashed in Wei’en’s crimson eyes. ’I hope it’s not what I think it is. Otherwise... Ghost!’

Immediately after, Wei’en returned to his workshop.

After checking his surroundings and finding nothing had changed, he took out the scroll recording the Undead Transformation Spell from his Space Ring and began to study it.

”Is this a hexagram, too?”

Wei’en was a little surprised, but this actually suited his expectations even better.

’An Undead Transformation Spell fused with the Death God’s Origin Power... I wonder what kind of ability this spell will grant...’

[You have successfully drawn the Undead Transformation (Death God) Rune. Special Rewards: Survival Points +3, Spirit Level +1.]

’Deadpool status?’

’So it’s an undead with a formal status...’

”It can transform other Undead Creatures, too?”

Wei’en stared blankly at the information on the panel. ’Is the random enhancement from the Death God’s Origin really this terrifying?!’

PS: Thanks to the big shot Fengliu for the tip. There will be an extra Chapter tonight, but like before, don’t stay up waiting for it, everyone.
