Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

He had seen powerful Extraordinaries before, but people like the Red-haired Captain, whose thoughts were impossible to fathom, were the most terrifying.

It was even scarier than encountering a Deep Sea Giant Monster.

A trace of fear crept onto Ronan’s face. He didn’t dare make a sound, worried that person would hear him.

’I hope he gives the ship back after we reach the Southern Continent... No, just getting out of this alive is good enough!’

Meanwhile, Wei’en had no idea his earlier unintentional actions had already thoroughly ’subdued’ the triangular-eyed captain. After confirming the two bedrooms were reasonably clean, he returned to the Clown Theater, satisfied.

’Clelia probably won’t mind that her bedroom was once used by a group of people for a workout...’

Hm?

’Are they already studying?’

Wei’en reverted to his original appearance, pushed open the theater’s bedroom door, and heard the voices of Clelia, Tina, and the others outside.

”...Tina, your pronunciation is wrong. It should be m-i, meow.”

”Tina, meow?”

”Very good, but there’s still room for improvement.” Clelia’s voice trembled slightly, as if she were suppressing her excitement. To put it more bluntly, she was trying her hardest not to laugh.

”Let’s go again. Remember to draw out the last sound. Watch my lips. Meooow~”

”Tina, meooow~”

”Yes, yes, that’s it! Just like that!”

”Meow?” Zero chimed in with the sound of grinding gears. ”Meooow~”

”...Zero, you should sit this one out. This word doesn’t suit you.”

Hearing that sound, Clelia’s mirth vanished. It sounded awful!

Only Shawa, who was beside them, saw through her and snorted, ”Tina, she’s not teaching you correctly. Don’t listen to her.”

”Hm?”

”What ’hm’?” Hearing this, Wei’en flashed over and flicked Clelia on the forehead. ”Don’t be a bad influence on the kid.”

”Ouch, you don’t like this?”

Clelia rubbed her forehead. Her glistening lips parted, releasing a tantalizing sound, ”Meooow~”

”Hsss—”

Wei’en sucked in a sharp breath, feeling the hair on his body stand on end. ”Stop, stop! I came to tell you I’ve secured a ship.”

’Damn this woman. Is she just a natural at being seductive?’

’Is it an innate gift, or did she master it over time?’

’Hm, I’m betting on the former—she’s definitely a natural!’

”Really?” Clelia’s eyes lit up as she grabbed his hand. ”Quick, take me to see it. This time, I’m definitely going to make that fish pay!”

”The fish? That’s what you care about?”

”Yeah! Even though you killed a lot of them last night, the one that pierced the deck is still alive!”

”Impossible. I’ve already had them set course for the Southern Continent.”

”Hm? That fish is in the same direction. Perfect.” Clelia stared at him without blinking, looking extremely serious.

Wei’en almost laughed out of sheer exasperation. ’So she really has no idea the ship’s course is wrong, does she?’

”The direction you’re talking about is the exact opposite of our current course!”

”Opposite? Impossible. I’ve been watching the sun’s position and adjusting the ship’s course,” Clelia said confidently, patting her chest. ”There’s absolutely no way I’m wrong.”

Wei’en: ”...”

’Her choice of reference point is, uh... quite something.’

It was like standing at the entrance of Krimms Cathedral and telling someone in another city-state, ”I’ll wait for you at the Cathedral entrance. Don’t leave till I get there...”

”What’s wrong?” Clelia asked, blinking as she watched his expression. ”Am I wrong?”

Wei’en took a deep breath and said resolutely, ”This time, no matter what you say, I’m not letting you touch that ship again!”

’If Clelia took the helm again, he was afraid they’d be at sea for the rest of their lives.’

’Yep. They’d never set foot on land again.’

”Really...?” Seeing his resolute attitude, Clelia’s face fell.

Wei’en patted her. ”Unless you want to miss that mission.”

”Miss it? I understand...”

Clelia returned to her usual charming and composed self, shot him a look, then turned her back to him as if she didn’t want to talk to him anymore.

”...” Wei’en couldn’t be bothered to argue. He looked at Tina and smiled. ”You’re coming too. This voyage will take at least a year, so it’s a good chance to get familiar with life at sea.”

The white-haired girl walked over and took his hand, saying obediently, ”Tina understands.”

”Shawa and Zero, you two stick close to Tina and protect her.”

Zero tossed aside the parchment in its hands and said excitedly, ”You can count on me, Father.”

’Not having to study the Gonzalez language feels amazing!’

Shawa nodded lightly. Her good arm rose, instinctively trying to cover her mechanical eye.

”Let’s go.”

Wei’en noticed Miss Zombie’s gesture and thought pensively, ’Looks like I’ll have to talk to her later. If she’s unwilling to accept mechanical modification, then it’ll save me some trouble.’

He was just about to turn the Golden Key when he suddenly noticed their appearances and quickly stopped. He took a bottle of Illusion Potion from his Space Ring and gave it to the white-haired girl.

”Tina, do you remember what Captain Lisi looks like? Drink this Magic Potion and turn into her. For safety’s sake, we can’t show our real faces for now.”

”Tina, drink.” Tina nodded, took the Magic Potion, and poured it into her mouth.

Wei’en also drank a bottle, changing into Marco. ”Right, don’t get my name wrong. Once we’re outside, I’m Marco.”

”Tsk tsk,” Clelia remarked, turning to look at his current appearance. ”So much uglier than you were before.”

”If you don’t mind being hunted by the Judgment Knights of Dawn, I can change back.”

”Don’t. Those old geezers are terrifyingly strong. This is fine.”

Wei’en curled his lip. ’See? You are scared.’
