Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

An eye pattern also appeared between Wei’en’s brows, one formed from countless tiny, swirling black lightning bolts. It had eight crystalline black pupils, and black lightning-bolt markings radiated from around the eye to the edges.

The tentacles on his back suddenly swelled several times larger. The countless black pupils on them radiated extreme malice, all fixed on Clelia.

”You... Wei’en, are you okay?”

Cold sweat dripped down Clelia’s face again. ’This aura is already on par with Menor’s! How long has it even been?!’

”I’m fine.”

In fact, if he hadn’t advanced to an Official Mage and increased his strength, Wei’en would have long since had his mind destroyed by the calamitous malice, turning him into a true aberration—a monster that knew only slaughter.

He seemed to see that white-haired, black-eyed girl, her face filled with sorrow and pleading, crying out, ”Brother, please, take me home. I’ve recovered...”

’Tina...’

[Your contract partner - Calamity Species Tina Klosterman - has suffered grievous injuries. Her Calamity Origin has been greatly reduced. ’Tina, grievously injured?!’

With this notification, the mutation on Wei’en’s body abruptly halted. The newly grown tentacles slowly retracted, and the eye pattern on his forehead became a little more transparent.

’What happened?’

’Tina had already reached the fourth level of Calamity. How could she have been so grievously injured?’

’Who was it?!’

”I’m going out—”

Before he could finish, Wei’en’s voice faltered.

The eight black pupils abruptly shot out eight bolts of black lightning, silently destroying everything in the theater. Even the workbench he had specifically placed there was mostly obliterated.

[Your Summoned Creature - Zombie - has suffered grievous injuries and is on the verge of death. Evaluation: Something even more interesting has arrived. Special Reward: Survival Points +5, Spirit Level +1.]

”W-What is it?” Clelia asked, collapsed on the floor and hugging herself as she looked up at him pitifully.

’Any one of those black lightning bolts is enough to make my heart pound with terror. I have a feeling that if even a single sliver touched me, I’d be skinned alive, if not killed outright.’

’What kind of terrifying power is this?’

’It’s too horrifying, too terrifying—each bolt possesses attack power comparable to a peak Director Level!’

’Then Wei’en’s strength...’

Wei’en cracked a smile. ”It’s nothing.”

’Shawa. Tina. The two people closest to him, both grievously injured at the same time.’

’Who did this—no, who did it no longer matters.’

’Whoever they are, they will pay the price!’

”Ghost.”

A ghost, which also had an eye pattern on its forehead, flashed into existence, its expression grave and serious. ”Dur, Diagulajia!” (Reverse Undead Summoning!)

The rune representing undead summoning circled the eye pattern once, counter-clockwise. A Rune Array appeared in the center of the theater and, as energy flowed within, a black vortex slowly materialized.

Through the vortex, the figure of Miss Zombie was reflected in Wei’en’s eyes—her limbs were shackled to a bed, one arm was stripped to the bone, and one of her eyes had been replaced with a mechanical one, its gears periodically spinning and contracting.

Faintly, a woman in a black robe could be seen bustling about beside her, working on Shawa’s body with a sharp knife and a rune-inscribing scalpel.

”You stay here.”

Wei’en’s expression grew increasingly calm as he stepped into the Rune Array and vanished into the black vortex.

’So this is what the True World is like.

Even if you don’t hurt others, you will still be hurt.

Weakness is the original sin!’

”HUFF, HUFF...”

Clelia watched his retreating figure disappear, gasping for breath. She’d almost thought she was going to die here.

’That was utterly terrifying. He looked like he was about to tear someone to shreds at any moment.’

’Just what in the world happened outside?!’

「Meanwhile, at Number 44, Golden Street, the Ghost Soul School’s intelligence outpost.」

”My Lady, we were so right to stay behind,” Dark Dragon said. He had been standing by the window, watching the scenes unfold outside. ”I never expected Caster to see so many changes tonight.”

Olivia paused, looking at her masterpiece with satisfaction. ’Machinery and the undead really are the perfect combination. I wasn’t wrong to choose these two disciplines.’

”Oh? Tell me about it.”

”It’s mainly at the Cathedral. First, a strange girl appeared, and she was somehow able to suppress the Dawn Church’s army of tens of thousands of Holy Professionals. Then, a pillar of holy light appeared inside the Cathedral, which should be a precursor to the Dawn’s arrival...”

”Then there was the appearance of a forbidden item. A clown helped that little girl kill a good number of Holy Professionals...”

”Even the Storm Church’s Holy Order Legion showed up, led by Archbishop Naike...”

”And now, Ales Kilibali, the Director of the Secret Investigation Department who we’d received confirmation was dead, has suddenly appeared above the Cathedral. He’s already thrust his hand into that terrifying little girl’s chest...”

Dark Dragon said excitedly, ”Intel like this will definitely earn us a commendation from headquarters!”

”Is that so?”

Olivia was stunned for a moment. She turned, walked to the window, and looked toward the Cathedral. Sure enough, she saw a man in the uniform of a high-ranking Secret Investigation Department official. His pitch-black left arm was thrust through the chest of a white-haired, black-eyed girl, and he was laughing maniacally.

”The Calamity, it belongs to me!”

”Everything will end!”

’Calamity... end...’

Olivia frowned. ”We have to report this to the School immediately!”

”So now...”

Dark Dragon turned his head to look at Olivia, but before he could finish, the smile on his face froze. His eyes reflected the scene behind her, and terror flooded his heart.

”For now, we’ll lie low and avoid the fallout. Once we leave...” Olivia trailed off, finally noticing Dark Dragon’s expression. ”Huh?” Her heart skipped a beat, and an order instantly shot to her Origin Sub-body.
