Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”And those selfish nobles, the Council that is either incompetent or lets chaos reign, the Holy Professionals of the Dawn Church who hole themselves up in the Cathedral without a single thought for the common people...”

”I really hate all of it!”

Wei’en murmured these thoughts to himself as the lightning wings on his back spread, lifting him into the air. Immediately after, the electricity on his wings twisted and elongated, lashing out like whips to intercept all the attacks from the Vasquez People.

”So, why did you have to force my hand?”

Wei’en’s tone was unnaturally calm. The memories of his dozens of days of living—no, *surviving*—in this world flashed one by one before his eyes.

In those scenes, the smiles, the fear, the helplessness, the tension, the pity, the sympathy... all vanished from his face like popping bubbles.

Wei’en stared expressionlessly at the Vasquez People, the eight black pupils on his face clearly reflecting every single detail of their forms.

’Is that fear in their eyes?’

”So, you’re just like me... Good...”

”Once you’re dead, you won’t feel fear anymore, will you?”

Above Wei’en’s head, his four origin sub-bodies—Ghost, Driver, Red Heart, and Secret Master—had taken on his appearance. Their dozens of black pupils stared down at the Vasquez People, quietly awaiting his command.

SNAP!

Wei’en snapped his fingers. His killing intent surged from their origin and into his sub-bodies.

Ghost shot forward first, a wicked smile playing on its lips as if it could already envision the deaths of the Vasquez People. ”Deep, Roko, Gate!” (Shadow Bind!)

Empowered by Wei’en’s now-terrifying Spiritual Power, a massive Rune Array rose from beneath the feet of the Vasquez People. Countless withered arms erupted, tearing at the immobilized crowd.

”No!!”

The moment Nicole saw the Array, she cried out in terror, a terrible premonition surging through her heart.

’No, it can’t be, can it?’

’That spell affected several hundred Vasquez People... How is that possible?!’

But just like the helplessness Director Nifa had felt when he watched them attack an Investigator, she could only watch as spell after spell cut down the Vasquez People in the front.

”Gena, Ji, Una!” (Lightning Arrow!)

”Ble, Franco, Ah Wa!”

”...”

Elemental Magic and Undead Magic were cast simultaneously, triggering the lethal effect of the Shadow Bind. In just a few seconds, a large swath of Vazquez Warriors had fallen.

Wei’en calmly glanced down. ’Over a hundred dead already?’

’Life... is so fragile...’

”Ghost, begin.”

”Siyaam, Sir, Sute!” (Corpse Explosion!)

”...”

”Siyaam, Sir, Sute!”

Ghost didn’t pause for a second, casting one Corpse Explosion after another on the charred, mangled, and desiccated corpses below.

”No, don’t, I’m begging you! I beg you, stop! Please!!”

Nicole watched in horrified despair as corpse after corpse exploded. Green, pestilent flesh splattered onto the surrounding warriors. Before the terrified eyes of the immobilized Vasquez, it burrowed into their bodies, devouring and corrupting their very flesh and blood.

Immediately after, pustules erupted one by one from their bodies, rapidly turning from flesh-toned to green. As if filled with gunpowder, they detonated under the influence of the Corpse Explosion, splattering and infecting even more people.

As the bodies affected by Corpse Explosion detonated one after another, a horrific and brutal scene unfolded before the eyes of every Investigator from the Secret Investigation Department.

One Vazquez Warrior after another went from perfectly whole to covered in pustules, before finally exploding into a shower of gore. The air filled with a spray of green, red, and white, like blossoming flowers releasing the fragrance of death itself.

Lisi stared blankly at the scene. ’Wei’en, you...’

RUMBLE, RUMBLE...

The warriors who had been charging the Investigators saw the chain of explosions and scrambled to flee. Fear and panic spread across the entire battlefield.

”Thinking of leaving now? It’s too late!”

Guided by Secret Master’s Blink Spell, Wei’en appeared before the Vasquez People at the rear. His lightning wings dragged several corpses behind him, dropping them at the feet of the fleeing warriors for Ghost to use in its Corpse Explosion.

Wei’en stood before Nicole, a faint smile gracing his lips as he watched the scene of carnage unfold.

’I don’t think I’ve ever seen such brilliant fireworks in this world. I wonder, does this count?’
