Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”We’re short on time. We’ll talk more later.”

”Understood. I’ll take my people and get them out of Caster first.”

”Mm.”

Lisi and Marco glanced back at Tina, sighed, and then hurried after the group toward the outside of the southern high wall.

”Lord Bishop, the array is complete. What are your orders...?”

”We wait. We wait for the battle over there to be decided.” Bishop Naike’s gaze suddenly hardened. ”No matter what, tonight we will drive every last Holy Professional of the Dawn Church from Caster!”

”Yes!”

At the same time, Kali discovered that the bodies of the Holy Professionals who had been sacrificed were slowly disappearing.

”The bodies... they’re all gone?”

”How is that possible...”

The Holy Professionals nearby also noticed this. Watching their comrades’ bodies vanish, a panic began to spread through their ranks.

”Hee hee ha ha... It’s Forbidden Item 0-34, the Revival Coffin,”

The three clowns also turned. Seeing the pillar of light, they all licked their lips, their crimson eyes revealing a deep craving. ”I really want to get my hands on it...”

”The Revival Coffin?” Kali frowned. ”The Forbidden Item with the power of resurrection?”

”Of course. What other Forbidden Item has such power? Back then...” The clown’s voice paused as it glanced at the distant Holy Professionals. ”So sorry, so sorry. The show is on. How can I get distracted by such trivial matters?”

”Hm?”

The clown was flighty and unpredictable, brandishing its short dagger and lunging forward again.

DANG, DANG, DANG...

Kali was unmoved. She swung her Two-Handed Greatsword in a flawless defense. The constant influx of the Power of Faith was also causing her to improve at an extremely rapid rate.

”Darkness!”

Countless black threads intertwined, forming a black sphere of light that enveloped her and the three clown doppelgangers.

This was a power Kali had just obtained from her authority. She wasn’t sure if it could stop the clown, but she had to hold him here so she could get to the church.

’Tens of thousands of civilians are hiding beneath the church. If the church falls, then...’

At this thought, Kali’s expression grew even more grave. She gritted her teeth and guided the black threads to connect to the thousand Holy Professionals, draining nearly all the life from the remaining Guardian Knights. She then brandished her greatsword and instantly slashed at the clown.

”Darkness? This isn’t how you use darkness.”

A mocking sneer appeared on the faces of the clown’s three doppelgangers. Unafraid of Kali’s incoming strike, they remained motionless, taking the blow with their bodies.

”You?!” Kali stared in shock at the three new figures that had appeared. ’It’s still not enough?’

”Let me teach you—Night!”

As he spoke, the power within the black sphere that belonged to Kali suddenly converged on him. Even the greatsword in her hands nearly fell from her grasp.

”Ha, haha, hee hee hee ha ha... Night!”

With the clown’s laughter, the dark power condensed into the short dagger in its hand, making it appear even more sinister and terrifying. ”Lady of Night, allow me to greet you, Favored One of Orpheus.”

’Lady of Night?’

Kali stared at him blankly. ’Is there really a deity with that name?’

...

...

「At the same time, inside the Clown Theater.」

”Damn those old bastards! How could they be so cruel!”

Clelia shot up, opening her eyes and immediately letting out a stream of curses.

’It’s the first time I’ve been killed so cruelly. Those two old bastards are complete assholes.’

”I...”

Clelia was about to continue cursing when she scanned her surroundings and froze, completely stunned. A fine layer of sweat beaded on her forehead, trickling down her flushed cheeks and dripping from her chin to the floor.

Beside her was a bizarre figure—black hair, black eyes, wings of lightning, and several twisted tentacles coiling around her. Most notably, the three pairs of black eyes on his face were staring at her unblinkingly...

’Wei’en?!’

”Wei’en, Wei’en...” Clelia carefully shifted her body, trying to move away. At the same time, she whispered Wei’en’s name, hoping to awaken his consciousness.

But no matter where she moved, those damned tentacles followed her.

By now, Clelia could tell that Wei’en was currently in a deep sleep.

Although she didn’t know why, she didn’t dare make any sudden moves, afraid she would be attacked.

”If you don’t wake up soon, I’m going to die...”

Clelia lamented her rotten luck. ’I just escaped, am I going to be killed by a mutated creature again?’

’Wei’en, Wei’en...’

An unknown amount of time passed. The slumbering Wei’en vaguely heard a voice. He slowly opened his eyes, and his eight black pupils darted around nimbly.

”Clelia?”

”You’re finally awake,” Clelia sobbed, her disheveled hair plastered to her face. Hearing his voice, she nearly burst into tears.

’God knows how I got through the last half hour.’

”Were you killed?”

Wei’en stood up calmly. Other than Clelia dying and being resurrected by that necklace, he couldn’t think of any other way she could have entered this theater.

’Could she really have expected the out-of-control Demon Clown to let her in?’

”Um, let’s not talk about that for a second. Can you get me some clothes?”

Clelia breathed a sigh of relief as the tentacles moved away. Only then did she notice her own state. Biting her lip, she crossed her arms to cover herself from Wei’en’s four pairs of black eyes.

”I’ve already seen it all before.” Wei’en’s tone was flat, as if it were a common sight. Nevertheless, he took a spare set of clothes from his Space Ring and tossed them to her.

”What... You mean that time I was injured?” Clelia hurriedly put on the clothes, which hung loosely on her.

But when she felt the terrifying aura emanating from Wei’en, she wisely chose to shut her mouth.

’He’s already seen everything, it’s not like I’ll lose a piece of flesh over it, right?’

”Tell me what’s happening outside.”

”You have no idea how chaotic it is out there, especially those two damned old bastards! They actually...”

While listening to Clelia’s story, he checked the information on his panel.

[Bloodline, Runes, Origin, and Soul have converged... You have obtained an Extraordinary Talent. Evaluation: It feels even weirder now... Did I just go through this? Special Reward: Talent - Spiritual Conversion, Survival Points +30, Origin +3, Resilience Level +3, Spirit Level +3.]

[Note 1: Talent - Spiritual Conversion. Effect: You can convert your Resilience Level, Spirit Level, and Origin Power into one another.]

[Note 2: The conversion ratio between Resilience Level and Spirit Level is one-to-one.]

[Note 3: The conversion ratio for Resilience Level, Spirit Level, etc., into Origin Power is ten-to-one. The reverse is one-to-ten.]

’A dual talent...’

This was somewhat unexpected for Wei’en.

He originally thought that after his talent had mutated, everything would have merged into his Deception talent, since it had the two abilities of illusion creation and psychological control.

He didn’t expect this extra bonus.

’Spiritual Conversion—it’s actually a very practical talent.’

’Deception... Estelle Loft...’

Wei’en recalled his experience in that Illusion Realm and felt an unexplainable sense of unease. It seemed he would have to find time later to ask about the Loft Clan’s recent situation.

After Clelia finished recounting what had happened in the days since she left, she said resentfully, ”That Ales wanted to use the Revival Coffin to resurrect himself, and he actually used my body to unseal it...”

Wei’en snapped back to reality, his brow furrowing slightly. ”So, this whole thing was planned by Ales.”

’Ales, huh?’

’That would explain Tina’s mutation and the Demon Clown’s loss of control.’

’I’m afraid that besides resurrection, his second goal was to get revenge on the Noble Committee and the Dawn Church, right?’

”That’s him,” Clelia said ’fiercely.’ ”It was the first time I’ve ever been twisted up like a stick and had my blood squeezed out...”

”Let’s go take a look... Hm?”

Just then, a blood-red message flashed across the panel.

[Your Contract Partner - Calamity Species Tina Klosterman has undergone a Calamity Mutation. Strength has reached Level 4 Calamity... Special Reward: Mutation (Temporary), Survival Points +160, Origin +4, Resilience Level +40, Spirit Level +40.]

As this notification flashed, Wei’en’s body trembled. A terrifying power emerged from the void.

But before he could react, another message flashed on the panel.

[Your Contract Partner - Calamity Species Tina Klosterman has suffered heavy damage. Her Calamity Power is greatly reduced. Due to your Companion Contract, your body’s mutation has lessened. Evaluation: Interesting...]

’Tina’s been seriously injured?!’
