Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Even the Vasquez People who had just seen the clown kill that Warrior, no matter how resentful they felt, didn’t dare show a hint of emotion.

In the crowd, Wei’en let his body go through the motions, trying his best to remain calm.

’Damn clown, you’re a real fucking freak!’

’Who gags someone and then tells them to speak?’

Nifa floated in mid-air, silently watching the ”splendid performance” below. Her mind couldn’t help but recall that night. That same feeling of powerlessness turning to helplessness—she remembered it clearly. Back then, she could only suppress her terror and watch as Investigator after Investigator was slaughtered as if for sport.

Even today, seventeen years later, the images of her comrades’ silent, brutal deaths still appeared in her dreams, deeply seared into her mind.

And their respected and beloved former Director had also died that night.

If Ales hadn’t arrived at the last moment, everyone would have probably died...

’Ales, I’m afraid you made that choice because of that night too, didn’t you?’

’What a pity...’

...

...

Meanwhile, Black Jack, having already run out of the Dumitru District, reverted to his original appearance. Tucking Tina under his arm, he sped towards the harbor, plowing straight through everything in his path and smashing countless aberrations to pieces.

”Let Tina go.” The white-haired girl turned her head to look at his unfamiliar face, her eyes quickly veiled by a layer of red light.

”No, I won’t let go!”

Black Jack ran for his life towards the Basil District. To hell with forbidden items, to hell with cooperating with the Vasquez People—all he knew was that he had to get Tina to the Black Pearl while there was still time.

Otherwise, it would be hard to predict what might happen next... Huh?!

While running, Black Jack’s body suddenly shuddered to a halt. He looked at Tina in his arms in disbelief. ”You... no way.”

Before he could finish his sentence, he quickly let go, instantly moving a hundred meters away, and watched the petite Tina with a racing heart.

’This... this... Didn’t they say it would be fine as long as I took her away the moment the forbidden item left her body?’

’Why is something like this still happening?’

’If I’m not mistaken, the little girl is undergoing an extremely terrifying aberration—this is a total setup! Boss Isabella, it’s not that I don’t want to complete the mission—it’s that this mission is simply impossible!’

”Tina... hates you.”

The moment she looked up, Tina’s eyes turned from glowing red to pitch black. She pointed her little finger at Black Jack, a rare smile appearing on her face. However, a smile that would have been called radiant on any other girl’s face looked utterly bizarre and terrifying on hers.

BOOM!

Before Black Jack could react, an invisible force bound him and slammed him violently into the ground, embedding him in the stone slabs below.

’Ugh, damn it!’

Black Jack gritted his teeth, his Extraordinary Power erupting to break free from the force. He instantly shot away.

BOOM!

Having moved only a hundred meters, he was once again seized by a new force and slammed into the stone slabs.

Black Jack broke free again and shot straight out, showing no intention of stopping.

He had to admit he was no match for that girl. The first time he broke free, he only used half his power, but the second time required seventy percent of his Extraordinary Power.

BOOM!

’Great. Ninety percent!’

’If this keeps up, I’m afraid I’ll soon have to use my Origin Power to amplify my Extraordinary Power.’

However, Black Jack was worried that he wouldn’t be able to escape Tina’s control before his power ran out...

...

...

At the same time, Wei’en, who was waiting at the entrance of the Secret Investigation Department for the clown’s fate to be decided, felt the scene before him abruptly change. It was as if he had been instantly pulled into a Dark Space; the entire world became pitch-black, silent, cold, and desolate.

After arriving in this world, Wei’en had experienced this familiar yet strange scene countless times.

For example, when he first met the Lord of Despair, the Lord of Dawn, and the Demon Clown, he had experienced the Dark World, so he was more or less used to it.

’This time, it has to be the clown’s doing.’

’I can’t believe that bastard looked around and still ended up picking me as his lucky audience member.’

”Brother...” In the darkness, an ethereal voice sounded from an unknown location.

’Huh?’

’The voice just now wasn’t ”Good evening, young Mr. Wizard”?’

’Brother?’

’Damn it, Leonard, you’ve lived for who knows how many years, and you still have the gall to call me that?’

”Brother...”

Wei’en froze. This time, he heard it clearly.

’A girl’s voice?’

”Brother, can you take me away from here?”

’Tina?!’

Although the tone was different from how the white-haired girl usually spoke, it was definitely Tina’s voice.

”You’re... Tina?”

”Brother, I’ve completely recovered, really... Can you tell Mother for me, please?”

Wei’en looked at the dark world around him. ”Tina, it’s me, Wei’en! Wei’en Loft!”

”Brother, I really want to leave this place...”

Wei’en said, ”Tina...”

’No response. What’s going on?’

’Is that voice really Tina, or is it just the clown playing a trick?’

”Brother, it’s so dark and cold here... I miss you so much, I miss Father, and Mother...”

”Tina, is that you?” Wei’en shouted to his surroundings again.

”Brother...”

”Tina, Tina?!”

’Huh?’

’The darkness before my eyes instantly receded, and my vision returned... Fuck, what the hell?’

The clown’s ugly face was pressed right against his, speaking in a strange tone, ”Oh~ look what I’ve found. A despicable bastard who got distracted during my performance. Do you have a problem with my performance, young man?”

Wei’en was speechless.

’It seemed, perhaps, probably, maybe... I’m a dead man this time!’

”Are you not going to speak either?” The clown gestured with the short knife in his hand, waving it back and forth in front of Wei’en’s eyes, his own gaze gradually turning vicious. ”How dare you ignore my performance! Unforgivable!”

SWISH!

CLANG!

A beam of black light knocked the short knife out of the clown’s hand.

The clown’s face darkened as he glanced at the short knife at his feet, then at Wei’en, whose eyes showed a glimmer of relief, before turning his head stiffly to look at Nifa in mid-air.

”Oh? Are you prepared to fight me, woman with the forbidden item?”

”Not at all.” Nifa shook her head. That Dharma Seal just now seemed to have consumed a great deal of her power. She aimed the figurehead in her hand at the clown. ”However, I believe your sequence is lower than this one’s.”

’Originally, I wanted to wait a bit longer, but when I saw the Investigator uniform Wei’en was wearing, I really couldn’t let what happened seventeen years ago happen again.’

”Sequence...”

The clown seemed amused by her words and couldn’t help but cover his face with both hands and start laughing. ”Hee hee, hahaha... Sequence. To think someone would define the use of forbidden items based on their sequence, hee hee haha...”

”Is that not the case?” A trace of doubt flashed in Nifa’s eyes. According to the records in the Kingdom’s Library, the power and effect of a Sequence 0 forbidden item was far greater than a Sequence 1.

At her question, the clown laughed even louder, even more madly, his laughter echoing throughout the area he had designated as his theater.

”Hee hee haha... Gah?!”

The smile on the clown’s face instantly froze. He suddenly looked towards the Basil District, as if something there was attracting him.

”Tina...”

Just then, the information on the panel in Wei’en’s mind started jumping frantically, a new message flashing every two seconds.
