Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”But, Mitra...” Lan’er couldn’t bear it. Even now, he was still thinking about the Desire Sect Follower who had been helping him from the very beginning.

”Mitra?”

Old Ernst cursed, even more furious, ”Have you lost your mind? Still thinking about that woman at a time like this? Once Caster returns to the clan, what kind of woman couldn’t you have? Idiot!”

”I...”

”Lord Lan’er, you really are quite stupid.”

Just then, a lazy voice came from the side, its soft tones seeming to carry a certain allure.

”Who? Mitra?” A smile crept onto Lan’er’s face when he saw who it was. He coughed and said, ”I can forgive your recent disrespect. You...”

”Shut up!”

Old Ernst was not as happy to see her. When Mitra appeared, a sense of foreboding washed over him. He barked, ”Melendez, Levi...”

Two Shadow Killers emerged from the shadow at his feet and charged toward Mitra.

”Father!?”

Mitra leaned against a bookshelf, her captivating eyes moist and bright. A mere glance at the Shadow Killers was enough to stop their attack in its tracks.

”Lord Count, are you afraid of me? Are you in such a hurry to kill me?”

Old Ernst’s expression grew even darker. He glared at Mitra and asked, ”You’re with them?”

”What do you think?”

After replying with a smirk, Mitra sauntered over to the motionless Shadow Killers with a seductive gait. She looked them up and down for a moment before saying with disgust, ”So these are Shadow Transformers? How ugly!”

CREAK! SQUELCH!

As her words fell, the two Shadow Killers’ bodies began to twist and contort, as if an invisible pair of hands had grabbed their heads and feet and were wringing them out like wet towels.

In the blink of an eye, they twisted to their limit and dissipated into countless tiny shadows.

”Tell me, who is he?”

Lan’er looked at the dissipated Shadow Killers, then at Old Ernst and Mitra, and asked blankly, ”What... what are you talking about?”

”Lord Lan’er, you really are pitiful...”

Mitra looked at Old Ernst but walked over to Lan’er’s side. She wrapped an arm around his neck, blew a soft breath of air toward him, and said, ”Wouldn’t you agree, Lord Count?”

Old Ernst’s cheeks puffed out, clearly furious. But after glaring at Mitra for a moment, he actually took a deep breath and threw down the letter of appointment and the Space Ring in his hand.

”Let us leave, and I won’t take anything with me.”

”Father, why do you want to leave? Isn’t it nice to stay?” A faint red glow appeared in Lan’er’s eyes, and unbeknownst to him, a smile touched his lips, looking utterly bizarre.

”You...” Old Ernst saw his expression and turned to glare at Mitra. ”Is this how your Desire Sect abides by its agreements? Don’t forget we still have a contract!”

”Are you referring to this?”

A roll of parchment appeared in Mitra’s hand. She passed it to Lan’er beside her and said charmingly, ”As I recall, the rule was that whoever tears up the contract is the one who will be punished. Now...”

”Wait! Don’t let him move! Whatever you want, I’ll agree to it!” Old Ernst’s face changed. He watched as Lan’er took the parchment and began to rip it, as if about to tear up the contract signed between the Ernst Clan and the Desire Sect.

”Too late!”

RIP!

The roll of parchment was torn to shreds by Lan’er, who wore that bizarre smile. ”Father, what are you talking about? What contract? Isn’t this just an ordinary piece of paper?”

A phantom image emerged from the parchment, slowly coalescing into a venomous snake with a triangular head. It was a full ten meters long and as thick as a fist.

”Is this... dinner? Or is it my favorite, a Deep Sea eel...”

”See? It’s not our Desire Sect that failed to honor the contract. You’re the ones who tore it up unilaterally.” Seeing the snake appear, Mitra released her arm from around Lan’er and took a few steps back.

”Lan’er...”

Old Ernst shut his eyes in agony. He already knew what was about to happen.

The giant snake slithered slowly in front of Lan’er, eyeing him coldly. ”By the divine law of the Master of Contracts, those who do not abide by the contract shall be punished!”

”A talking roasted eel, huh?” Lan’er’s smile froze. He snapped to his senses, looked at the giant snake before him, and opened his mouth. ”Father...”

HISS!

Before he could finish, the giant snake lunged at him, opened its massive maw, and swallowed him whole.

”Punishment, complete!”

As this solemn, dignified voice echoed through the treasure room, the giant snake, along with the Lan’er it had consumed, slowly faded away.

After a long while, Old Ernst opened his eyes. Seeing that only he and Mitra remained, a flash of sorrow crossed his face.

”Speak. What will it take for you to let me go?”

”Ha!” Mitra clapped her hands, the movement causing her ample chest to sway. ”That lord was right. You only ever think about yourself. You remain unmoved even when your own son dies right in front of you.”

”Oh? ’That lord’?”

Old Ernst took a deep breath. Years of cultivated noble bearing made him appear all the more stern and solemn. ”Tell me about him. Perhaps he’d be willing to make a deal with me as...”

SHINK!

Before he could finish, Mitra had already plunged a sharp sword into his throat. She said with a smile, ”That lord asked me to tell you that he will send every member of the Ernst Clan...”

”...and everyone from the Glory Society to the other world, so you can all be reunited there!”

”Ghh, ghh... Glory... Society... Heh, heh... I’ll be waiting for them!”
