The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1216: Chapter 462: Eight Million’s Romance

Two days ago, Xiao Wang, responsible for protecting Zhou Wang, along with his subordinates Xiao Si to Xiao Qi, had all completed their resignation procedures from ”Tyrant Security.”

Regarding this matter, Xiao Wang seemed somewhat bewildered.

The entire resignation process was much smoother than he had anticipated.

Normally, with Tyrant Security’s strict personnel procedures and the binding agreements they had signed beforehand, leaving Tyrant Security Company was very difficult unless the contract term was completed.

Xiao Wang was prepared to face difficulties. If the resistance was too strong, he would have had to give up, knowing the consequence of opposing the company...

But to his surprise, when he casually mentioned it to his superior, Captain Lin Feng, who he had seen that night at BSK, Brother Feng directly agreed!

Not only that, the company’s human resources department efficiently processed the resignation procedures for all five of them, taking less than 20 minutes.

Confused, Xiao Wang hadn’t even had time to respond when the company’s phone rang again. This time it wasn’t Lin Feng but a vice president serving on the board.

In company hierarchy, Vice President Liu was the top superior of his superior’s superior’s superior...

”Xiao Wang, right? I heard from Lin Feng that you are about to become Mr. Zhou’s personal bodyguard. I am calling mainly to state the company’s position: in the future, while working for Mr. Zhou, if you encounter any difficulties, and I mean any, you must reach out for help from the company immediately. The company will offer the strongest support!”

Vice President Liu’s voice was very serious, ”Additionally, I’ve issued a special document allowing you limited use of the company’s internal systems...”

Xiao Wang was completely stunned.

Although Vice President Liu said a lot, his key message was clear: even though they had resigned, Tyrant Security would remain their staunchest support.

This situation was beyond Xiao Wang’s comprehension. Previously, when colleagues left after completing their terms, not only did they have to destroy many records, but also sign numerous confidentiality agreements. Seeking help from the company was unheard of; even mentioning the company required caution.

But soon, Xiao Wang realized the source of this special treatment.

It was clearly not him, nor any of his four subordinates; this special treatment must come from their current employer, Zhou Wang...

Thus, Xiao Wang held great respect for Zhou Wang internally, knowing that a mere word from Zhou Wang could determine their fate. It was precisely because of this that when Xiao Qi took the initiative to ”create an opportunity” for Mr. Zhou, Xiao Wang immediately reprimanded him and quickly begged Zhou Wang to forgive Xiao Qi.

Upon hearing Zhou Wang only ”penalized Xiao Qi with a two-month bonus,” it was the best outcome, and Xiao Wang finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”Xiao Wang.”

Zhou Wang suddenly spoke again at this moment.

”Mr. Zhou, please speak.”

Thinking Zhou Wang was going to admonish him, Xiao Wang immediately straightened up and responded respectfully.

”You’ve signed the contract, right?”

”Yes, when Miss Qi came home the day before yesterday, we signed with Brother Gao.”

Xiao Wang nodded in response.

On the same day of their smooth resignation, Xiao Wang, along with five others including Gao Xing, signed the labor contract drafted by Qi Jiayi, officially forming Zhou Wang’s private bodyguard team.

Among them, Gao Xing’s contract was a customized version, mainly just procedural, due to the existence of the ”Universal Resume.” The contract itself didn’t hold much weight, it was merely a necessary formality.

The contracts for Xiao Wang and others were standardized, with varying treatments.

Xiao Wang’s base salary was eighty thousand, while the other four received fifty thousand.

Zhou Wang had referenced their previous compensation at Tyrant Security, and doubled or tripled their former salaries.

Although they were elite bodyguards, Xiao Wang surpassed ordinary people in outstanding skills, they hadn’t earned much at Tyrant Security before.

Firstly, at Tyrant Security, the base salary was aligned with the city average. Their main income came from task commissions and bonuses.

But this was unstable. With Huaxia’s excellent security, major missions were rare, typical ones were mainly escorting for business, occasional celebrity appearances, or minor gigs. Even for international escort missions, competition was fierce among brothers...

Another reason was part of their salary was used to repay Tyrant Security’s training fees.

Most of them had come from the company’s ”Youth Class,” certified only after years of special training. The resources the company invested needed repayment by them...

This was one reason it was difficult to resign before the term was up.

In conclusion, previously in a city like Magic City, Xiao Wang’s monthly income was four to fifty thousand at most, and two to thirty thousand at least. Though they were well-fed and housed, their earnings were quite ordinary.

Xiao Si and Xiao Qi were even less fortunate, earning around twenty thousand monthly. After giving money to the company and their parents, there was hardly any savings left.
