The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1208: Chapter 458: Soaring Over the Horizon (2)

”Yes, Mr. Zhou, although it’s not common, there have been other guests who booked the venue before...”

The young guy driving the little train couldn’t help but add, ”But someone like you who directly books the entire park is quite rare. They usually just book parts for proposals, celebrations, or such.”

It’s the first time I’ve seen someone booking the entire park just for wooing a girl...

The young guy silently added in his heart.

He couldn’t help but steal a glance at Yu Duo. Honestly speaking, this girl was indeed pretty, a rare type of Lolita beauty, with a baby face that could easily entice crime.

But the young guy thought, even if he had that much money, he couldn’t bear to spend it on someone else.

Not even this girl, and certainly not Xia Xiwei!

”So Zhou Wang, how much did you actually spend?”

Yu Duo, having no concept of the amount, said anxiously, ”It must be a lot, right?”

”Not much, not much, just a few hundred thousand...”

Zhou Wang waved his hand dismissively.

”Ah, a few hundred thousand?”

Yu Duo exclaimed loudly, then hurriedly suggested, ”Why don’t we just forget it and go to the hotel penthouse for a hot spring... Zhou Wang, Zhou Wang, is it too late to back out now?”

Back before her family went bankrupt, Yu Duo didn’t think much of a few hundred thousand, but now that she’s had a taste of life’s hardships, she knows that amount is a huge number. Many people work tirelessly their whole life and might never save up that much money.

At this moment, seeing Yu Duo’s urgent expression, the young guy driving the little train had to admit he felt a bit jealous.

There are many sensible girls in the world, but those who are both pretty and sensible are few and far between...

To be fair, Mr. Zhou is quite ”considerate” too!

A few hundred thousand?

Don’t kid yourself...

This is Disney!

A mere few hundred thousand isn’t enough to book the entire park, not even enough to reserve a single garden for fireworks.

The operational costs of each project, including labor, machinery, and electricity, are manageable when the park is open to the public because the costs are shared. But facing just one person, these costs become exorbitant.

The amount Zhou Wang told Yu Duo had one zero conveniently removed.

When that renowned Mr. Wang once considered flaunting his wealth by booking the park for a girl, he dismissed the idea after consulting and instead honestly bought a VIP tour for tens of thousands, bringing along his companion for a day tour...

Even Sicong considered it too extravagant, which makes one wonder just how outrageous the real cost must be.

”Do you think booking a hotel penthouse hot spring is cheaper?”

Zhou Wang said amusingly, ”Besides, the money’s already spent, so it’s too late to back out now. Don’t think too much about it. I’ve never been to Disney either, so let’s take the chance to have a blast...”

”Alright then.”

Yu Duo, being Yu Duo, was quickly convinced by Zhou Wang, and soon felt relieved, eagerly looking around and taking her phone out to snap photos for memories.

The only thing that slightly bothered Yu Duo was that, for some inexplicable reason, she hesitated to share such moments in the ”Time Sisters” group chat.

Previously, she would’ve spammed photos long ago.

Soon, the little train arrived at the park’s ”Adventure Island,” where, guided by staff, the duo experienced Disney’s first attraction, ”Soaring Over the Horizon.”

According to the temporarily summoned staff’s introduction, this is a hugely popular attraction with an average daytime wait time exceeding two hours.

But the entire experience lasts only five minutes.

Zhou Wang didn’t get to endure the waiting pain, maybe due to the lack of anticipated build-up, the much-lauded attraction didn’t particularly impress him, but Yu Duo beside him was quite thrilled, exclaiming through the whole process.

”Soaring Over the Horizon” is essentially about experiencing high-altitude flying perspectives through a 180° giant screen and 4K projection, transforming visitors into ”adventurers” who ’fly’ over famous global landmarks via ”gliders”...

From the Alps Snow Mountain in Switzerland, over the thundering African grassland, to the aurora-lit Arctic Glacier, besides visual and auditory experiences, the design also thoughtfully teased the sense of smell, enabling visitors to scent the grass of savannas, the flowers of the Taj Mahal, and the salty sea breeze, among others.

As the five-minute experience ended, noticing Yu Duo’s unfulfilled expression, Zhou Wang chuckled, ”Want to go again?”

”Ah, can we?”

Yu Duo certainly felt tempted.

”Of course. I said the whole park is ours tonight. You can enjoy it as you like.”

”True, since you’ve booked it, we should make the most out of the ticket cost. Let’s continue then...”

Yu Duo eagerly clenched her little fists, pulling Zhou Wang back to their seats.

Zhou Wang chuckled, realizing they’d never quite cover the ticket cost no matter how much they played because even with tickets at one or two hundred each, it’s still far from matching what he spent.

But Yu Duo was somewhat right...

In any case, they might as well try to make the most of it, though the ”ticket cost” each was envisioning wasn’t quite the same.

”Zhou Wang, look quickly, that polar bear seems to be looking at me! I thought its eyes were strange just now, and indeed... ah!”

Immersed in the giant screen, Yu Duo suddenly cried out, and looking down, she found in the darkness, a large hand had unknowingly reached over, covering her private space.

The hand emitted a burning warmth, as it glided up and down, heating Yu Duo’s body to the point of weakness, and even diminished the screen’s visual impact.

”What are you doing?”

Yu Duo nervously glanced around, though they were the only ones in the space, yet she couldn’t help feeling tense.

”Soaring Over the Horizon.”

Zhou Wang proclaimed with a straight face, as his hand curved towards the edge of Yu Duo’s knee socks.

Yu Duo was at a loss, crying and laughing, but at least Zhou Wang’s hand was going down, which allowed her to relax slightly. Just touching her legs shouldn’t be an issue, right?

Biting her lip, Yu Duo forced herself to focus on the screen.

But apparently, she couldn’t immerse herself anymore.

No matter how hard Yu Duo tried to focus on the screen and ignore Zhou Wang’s mischief on her slender legs, that seemingly soul-invading touch was still so vividly relayed back.

She felt her knee socks slipping from her knees to her soft calves, and Zhou Wang’s range was expanding over and over.

At one point, Yu Duo almost shouted again because she felt Zhou Wang’s hand edging near her safety shorts.

Luckily, that touch was fleeting, as Zhou Wang’s hand slid back to her calf, making Yu Duo even more embarrassed to protest.

She then felt Zhou Wang lifting her leg, seemingly trying to take off her loafers.

These shoes had no laces, a slight effort would see them off, and at that time, her socks, which had slipped to her ankles, would likely be history too.

Yu Duo couldn’t help recalling the café scene with the cats, and just as her mind was in chaos, unsure whether to resist, suddenly, the surroundings lit up again, signaling the five-minute session had ended.

”Zhou, Zhou Wang, that’s enough... Shall we try something else?”

She quickly reclaimed her legs, hurriedly pulling up her knee socks, and leapt from her seat, fleeing out with a flushed face, head lowered.

Watching Yu Duo’s hasty retreat, Zhou Wang snickered, unfastening the seat harness, and casually followed her out.

Though it felt a little unsatisfied, Zhou Wang wasn’t in a rush. With plenty of time left for the night, and so many attractions ahead, Yu Duo might dodge early on but not perpetually.

Why else would that sly dog book the entire park for the night?

Yu Duo... was the only ”attraction” that intrigued him tonight.
