The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 149: Chapter 121 A Different Xu Wenqian

“You… what are you doing?”

Zhou Wang was caught off guard, looking up in surprise.

Tears still lingered in Shen Yutong’s eyes, but perhaps because she had taken this step, she was slightly more relaxed than before.

Even though the feeling spreading from below her collarbone was new and a bit exciting, at least mentally, it was the case.

“Brother Zhou, I… I also want to be your girlfriend.”

Shen Yutong still didn’t dare to look into Zhou Wang’s eyes. She lowered her head slightly, her cheeks burning after she spoke.

This was probably the most embarrassing thing she had ever said in her twenty years of life.

For someone who always believed in the rule “opening up first equals losing value,” this sentence took all her courage.

“But you’re Ranran’s roommate, her best friend, isn’t this inappropriate?”

“Ranran said she… she doesn’t mind.”

Shen Yutong said quietly.

“Hmm?”

Zhou Wang was a bit surprised upon hearing this.

Based on Su Yajing’s consistent behavior, Zhou Wang actually knew that Su Yajing wouldn’t mind him having other women.

After all, he had made it clear from the beginning that he wouldn’t marry Su Yajing.

Otherwise, Zhou Wang wouldn’t have been bold enough to mess with Yu Duo without thinking about the consequences.

Yet, tacit agreement was one thing, saying it aloud was another, and the level of openness it represented was on a whole different scale…

For a moment, Zhou Wang felt touched once again.

Su Yajing truly was unconditionally good to him… if he overlooked the things she got from him.

“But Su Yajing’s attitude doesn’t represent mine. Yes, I admit you have a certain charm, but do you see me as someone who acts on impulse just because of appearances?”

Nonetheless, Zhou Wang felt it necessary to seriously emphasize this.

“Be gentle, it hurts.”

Shen Yutong said with tears in her eyes, looking pitiful.

“Ahem…”

Zhou Wang withdrew his hand from Shen Yutong’s collar, saying, “Sorry, my hand probably has a mind of its own.”

“It’s okay, I’m actually a little happy… at least, I finally have something that attracts you.”

Shen Yutong tidied up her clothes and lowered her head.

Hearing this, Zhou Wang couldn’t help clicking his tongue and gave Shen Yutong a look.

This was also the first time he scrutinized her with a different mindset.

It must be said, although Shen Yutong’s conduct wasn’t as bold as Su Yajing’s, her clothing style was decidedly more daring.

Like at the car show, where Su Yajing wore only shorts and a tank top, Shen Yutong was directly in a silver backless slip dress.

Today, her attire was just as indoorsy.

A strapless corset with very sparing fabric adorned with gray cartoon patterns, which Zhou Wang always thought didn’t seem made for outdoor wear. Her lower half was a simple skirt-shorts style that exposed her curvy, glossy thighs without restraint.

Cooling indeed, but also undeniably audacious.

She knew how to accentuate her strengths.

Knowing her looks weren’t top-notch, she focused on showcasing her figure to elevate her overall appeal. After all, from that perspective, she was hard to beat.

Seeing Zhou Wang staring right at her, Shen Yutong initially felt shy, but soon she steeled her heart, closed her eyes, and moved her face slowly closer.

Only to have Zhou Wang stop her.

“Zhou… Mr. Zhou?”

Unprepared for rejection, Shen Yutong opened her eyes, her voice trembling as her eyes started tearing up again.

“My mouth doesn’t smell great right now, so let’s skip this moment.”

Zhou Wang waved his hand dismissively.

Shen Yutong was taken aback, then shook her head vigorously, bouncing slightly with each motion, “I don’t mind.”

Zhou Wang held his throbbing head, “You didn’t drink just now, did you?”

“No.”

“Can you drive?”

“Yes… are you saying…”

Shen Yutong nodded instinctively before realizing what Zhou Wang meant.

“Let’s go then, you drive and take me somewhere, we’ll talk on the way.”

“Oh, okay!”

Shen Yutong got out and switched seats with Zhou Wang, though once in the driver’s seat, she hesitated.

“You… you didn’t give me the keys.”

When Zhou Wang looked over, Shen Yutong looked back expectantly.

“…To the right of the steering wheel, push-to-start.”

Zhou Wang suddenly felt he might have been too hasty.

After guiding Shen Yutong through a bumpy start, Zhou Wang told her to stop again.

As Shen Yutong looked over in confusion, Zhou Wang said, exasperated, “Aren’t you going to adjust your seat? Isn’t it uncomfortable with your legs stretched out like that?”

“Oh, oh…”

Shen Yutong hurriedly felt for the adjustment button on the side, but pressed the wrong one, causing the backrest to recline suddenly. She yelped and fell back into the seat, her skirt sliding up.

Zhou Wang: “…”

If this was a new way of teasing, then Shen Yutong wasn’t as clumsy as she seemed, right?

But looking at her flustered expression, Zhou Wang dismissed that amusing thought.

“Don’t move, I’ll do it.”

Zhou Wang unbuckled his seatbelt, leaned over, and helped Shen Yutong adjust the seat.

There were inevitably some light bumps in the process, but the upright gentleman Zhou Wang remained unfazed. Just as he was about to get up, Shen Yutong suddenly gathered her courage and kissed his cheek.

“Don’t do this next time, I’m not really that kind of person!”

Zhou Wang forgave her impulsiveness and gave the steering wheel a firm slap in warning.

Blushing furiously, Shen Yutong finally drove the Ferrari out of the club. After a short drive, Zhou Wang was pleasantly surprised to find her skills weren’t as bad as he had imagined, so he gave up on the idea of finding another driving service.
