Yu Duo came from a well-off family, but this was entirely her own money, and she had emptied her savings to make Zhou Wang happy.

“This watch is really beautiful, I’m pleasantly surprised, thank you.”

Zhou Wang rubbed her head, smiled gently, and then took off his previous IWC watch in front of Yu Duo, replacing it with the Rolex meteorite Daytona.

Yu Duo beamed with joy, not bothered at all when Zhou Wang’s hand playfully pinched her smooth cheek.

However, after a while, with no topic to discuss, Yu Duo began to feel shy again.

“Um, I’ve given you the thing… I, I should head back now.”

“You haven’t even finished your coffee yet, and it’s still early. Stay a bit longer.”

Zhou Wang noticed that she showed no sign of leaving, which amused him, but with his heart still touched, he didn’t tease her further and spoke casually.

“Oh.”

Yu Duo responded briefly, staying silent while focusing on drinking her coffee, occasionally stealing glances at Zhou Wang.

Zhou Wang looked around, suddenly feeling a bit warm sitting there, so he waved for the server.

“Do you have private rooms here?”

“Yes, sir, we do. They’re just upstairs, but using the private room requires an additional service fee of 200…”

“Get one.”

Zhou Wang interrupted her, then stood up, extending his hand to the slightly bewildered Yu Duo, saying, “Let’s go, we’ll head upstairs.”

“Why… why go to a private room?”

Yu Duo tried to maintain her composure, though her heart was racing.

“Of course, to pet the cats, there are more cats in the private room… I do like small animals.”

Zhou Wang said earnestly.

“Oh, okay.”

Yu Duo stood up, took a few steps, then softly said to Zhou Wang, “Then… then we agree, just pet the cats, nothing else.”

“Of course, this is a proper cat café, what else could we do?”

Zhou Wang asked in perplexity.

Right, it’s a café, not a hotel, what could Zhou Wang do anyway?

Yu Duo quickly convinced herself, and with the server guiding them, she followed Zhou Wang into the upstairs private room.

The café was indeed considerate, with three cats in the room, a silver shaded one, a golden shaded one, and a ragdoll. Already fond of cats, Yu Duo relaxed quickly, blending in with the cats and asking Zhou Wang to take many photos for her.

Once the server had delivered the newly ordered drinks, closed the door, and left, Zhou Wang watched the girl on the sofa playing with the cats and began to wander around the room.

Yu Duo played with the cats for a while, turning to see Zhou Wang’s odd behavior, and couldn’t help asking, “Zhou Wang, what are you doing?”

“Looking for an angle, I don’t like people seeing me play with cats.”

Zhou Wang tested a spot, ensuring that it couldn’t be seen from the glass door before he sat down.

“Huh?”

Yu Duo blinked, apparently unable to understand.

Mainly, she felt that Zhou Wang didn’t seem as enthusiastic about cats as he claimed. With such adorable animals around, he hadn’t even touched them yet.

“Aren’t you going to pet the cats?”

“Can I?”

“Of course~”

Yu Duo nodded.

“You said so, hmm… Duoduo, why don’t you come over here.”

“Hmm?”

A still-confused Yu Duo held the ragdoll cat and sat over, then watched Zhou Wang reach over to take the ragdoll from her arms and place it to the side.

When Zhou Wang’s gaze turned toward her, it finally dawned on Yu Duo—

He intended to pet, not the cats, but her “kitty.”
