The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Another call or two, Zhou Wang had set everything up and returned.

Just as the other three came down from the second floor, Zhou Wang called out, “Let’s go, to the second-floor terrace? It’s more suitable for afternoon tea there.”

When the group reached the terrace, Chen Mei arrived with the property service staff, pushing a cart with fruits and various drinks.

As soon as Zhou Wang saw Chen Mei, his phone rang. He quickly said, “My two friends are almost here, could you go downstairs to meet them?”

“Okay, Mr. Zhou, I’ll go right away.”

Chen Mei agreed and was about to leave when Liu Zixi suddenly stood up, “Ahem, let me go with you. After all, you don’t know them. It’ll be more convenient for me to be there.”

Zhou Wang was about to say it wasn’t necessary, but when he saw Liu Zixi wink at him, he instantly understood what Liu Zixi wanted to do.

Clearly, he was going to show off on Zhou Wang’s behalf!

Alright, alright…

Zhou Wang, slightly bemused, didn’t stop him and let Liu Zixi excitedly leave with Chen Mei.

“Zhou Wang, you still haven’t accepted my friend request!”

Cheng Yiyi, who was taking photos on the terrace with Xie Yuying, suddenly turned around and pointed at her phone, pretending to be discontented.

“There have been too many friend requests lately, I might have missed it. I’ll add it now.”

Zhou Wang chuckled, added Cheng Yiyi on WeChat, and after Cheng Yiyi was satisfied, she winked at Zhou Wang and waved:

“Zhou Wang, come help us take some photos!”

Hearing the slightly coquettish tone in Cheng Yiyi’s voice, Zhou Wang couldn’t refuse, so he quickly admitted his poor photography skills.

But after taking a few photos for the two girls and listening to Cheng Yiyi’s endless praises, Zhou Wang lost his confidence…

“Could it be that I’ve misunderstood my abilities?”

About ten minutes later, Liu Zixi returned with Li Cheng and Ahui, also accompanied by Li Cheng’s girlfriend, Yu Peipei.

When they walked into the grand mansion that occupied two floors, their expressions were quite interesting.

Liu Zixi had a mischievous grin tinged with schadenfreude, Li Cheng was openly flabbergasted, Ahui seemed a bit dispirited, while Yu Peipei maintained a smile, although her eyes revealed some astonishment.

After Zhou Wang greeted them, he couldn’t help but quietly ask Liu Zixi, “What’s with Ahui?”

“Ahem, he drove Li Cheng and Yu Peipei here, and he was quite happy at first. But when he got to the garage and parked next to your big G, he went into a slump… oh, he’s driving a C260.”

Liu Zixi cautiously added the last sentence in a whisper, fearing Zhou Wang wouldn’t understand.

Zhou Wang immediately understood.

Both from the Mercedes series, with the C200 discontinued, the C260 was considered the entry-level model. Although originally a car worth hundreds of thousands, parked next to the big G, it might indeed look like a toy…

“Brother Dog, you really…”

Li Cheng looked around with a complex expression, momentarily at a loss for words.

Fortunately, Liu Zixi hadn’t completely kept them in the dark and had given them a heads-up, so Li Cheng was somewhat prepared. Besides, both he and Yu Peipei already knew Zhou Wang had made it big, making it easier to accept.

Even though it didn’t mitigate much of the shock from a multimillion-dollar mansion.

“Okay, okay, I accept that you can call me ‘Brother Big Dog’ from now on. As long as I’m in Ming City, you’re welcome to come and beat up the rich at any time, alright?”

Before Ahui could say anything, Zhou Wang quickly raised his hand in surrender and then, shamelessly, pointed at them, “Remember, whether rich or poor, daddy’s love for you all won’t change!”

“Screw you!”

“Get lost…”

The group protested, but Zhou Wang’s antics helped everyone relax, and Ahui’s complexion improved considerably.

Laughing and messing around, they returned to the terrace. Liu Zixi reintroduced Xie Yuying and Cheng Yiyi, and since they were all around the same age, the atmosphere quickly became lively.

However, Ahui, who had styled his hair and dressed to impress, once again became dispirited.

Xie Yuying was fine since Liu Zixi had hinted at it beforehand, but Cheng Yiyi, looking more captivating, had sat next to Zhou Wang without hiding her intentions. Even a blind person could see what was happening…

“What do you prefer for dinner, Western or Chinese cuisine?”

After chatting for a while, Zhou Wang saw the time and asked.

Since everyone didn’t have any particular preference and left it to Zhou Wang, he smiled and said, “Alright, we’ll go with Chinese then, so we can drink.”

In gatherings with the guys, Chinese food felt more substantial. They couldn’t drink white wine with Western food, right?

What, you’re not drinking white wine?

Please step out… Yes, over there, go sit at the kids’ table!
