“Universal Resume?”

Zhou Wang carefully read through the introduction of the gadget, mimicking a fantasy protagonist as he stroked his chin.

In short, this was a sci-fi gadget that allowed Zhou Wang to fill in specific requirements, and the system would help him find talents in the real world who met those criteria.

Moreover, the recruited talents, whether it was their basic ability or basic loyalty, would be somewhat guaranteed.

However, because this [Universal Resume] was only at the Basic level, there were still quite a few limitations—

First was the career level. According to the system’s classification, all professions in this world were divided into three levels, which corresponded to the three levels of the [Universal Resume].

All professional talents had Ability Values ranging from 0 to 100.

For example, taking “Secretary” as a profession, the Basic Resume could recruit a qualifying secretary with an initial Ability Value between 60 and 70.

The Intermediate Resume, then, could recruit excellent secretaries with an initial Ability Value between 70 and 90.

The Advanced Resume could unearth perfect secretaries starting with an Ability Value above 90…

According to the system’s explanation, having an Ability Value of 60 meant that this secretary possessed the standard abilities to effectively assist the CEO of an industry worth billions.

Actually, this was already quite impressive.

By this qualified standard, the vast majority of people in this world would be considered useless.

Additionally, there were differences between professions.

Taking “Assistant” as another example, because the comprehensive ability required was lower than that for a secretary, even a Basic [Universal Resume] could recruit assistants with initial Ability Values ranging from 60 to 80, from competent to excellent level…

Other mono-skilled professions like “Chef,” “Gardener,” and “Cleaning” could recruit talents with relatively high initial Ability Values.

But if it involved high-end talents like “Scientific Research” and “Experiment,” the Basic [Universal Resume] would directly turn gray.

In other words, it wouldn’t even be able to recruit qualified talents…

What really intrigued Zhou Wang was that this [Universal Resume] seemed capable of recruiting some not-so-conventional talents.

For example, in pure entertainment roles like songstresses, dancers, extor… cough, cough.

In these talent-based professions, even with just a Basic [Universal Resume], there was actually hope to recruit excellent talents above 80 points.

It made Zhou Wang somewhat itchy.

But after thinking it over, he decided to pass. Although it was just a Basic Resume, with his current situation, he had to use it wisely to maximize the value of this gadget.

Thinking it over, Zhou Wang directly chose to “use” it.

The resume in the warehouse disappeared, and the system’s prompt sounded:

[Universal Resume has been downloaded, please check your phone]

Zhou Wang unlocked his phone and indeed found a mysterious document added to his desktop.

He opened it, and a line of prompt popped up:

“Welcome to use [Universal Resume] (Basic), please fill in the following information according to your expectations—”

Then the old prompt disappeared, and a new one appeared:

“What profession do you want to recruit for____”

Zhou Wang didn’t hesitate much and directly filled in “Assistant.”

A secretary was not necessary at this stage; he did not have many industries that needed management assistance. Rather than recruiting a possibly marginally qualified secretary, it would be better to recruit an assistant with higher comprehensive ability, and use a higher-level resume later to recruit advanced talents with comprehensive capabilities…

“Would you like to fill in the sub-options?”

A new prompt popped up again.

The implication of this prompt was, even for an assistant, there could be subdivisions, like a life assistant, work assistant, etc.

Of course, a Basic Resume didn’t guarantee that recruiting sub-options would succeed, a feature of the Intermediate Resume, but there was a chance it could meet Zhou Wang’s expectations.

“Yes.”

After confirming, Zhou Wang didn’t hesitate much, and directly filled in “Financial Management.”

What he was currently concerned about was his unused [1-Yuan Industry Acquisition Card]. Even if a suitable quality industry could be acquired, what about after acquisition?

Subsequent management issues were also involved, and if he had to handle it himself, it would be quite a problem. Financial matters, in particular, were of utmost importance, and he needed a trustworthy professional to assist him.

After filling in the profession, another prompt appeared:

“What gender do you hope for____”

This really didn’t require much thought, and Zhou Wang directly selected “female.”

In a sense, an assistant was one of the closest people around Zhou Wang, and having a female would definitely be more convenient.

After choosing the gender, it was followed by “age.” Zhou Wang chose “20 to 30 years old,” and once again the “Would you like to fill in the sub-options” prompt popped up.

When Zhou Wang opened the “sub-options,” he couldn’t help but click his tongue.
