Pillar of Yita

Fang Hong pondered for a moment, the plan is indeed extremely bold, but it seems feasible.

Although Tianlan informed them that there should be another path leading to that secret anchorage—but not to mention that finding that path would take time, and it’s unlikely that the opponent would leave the only entrance unguarded. In such places, the paths are often easy to defend and hard to attack, akin to one-man holds the pass scenarios.

Breaking in from this direction would obviously catch the opponent off guard, possibly allowing an attack from behind to achieve a surprising victory.

He looked at the other party and asked, ”What is the load capacity of the Winged Backpack?”

Little Fatty glanced at Luo Hao: ”Carrying your Iron Guard along with the equipment is no problem, but the Tower Shield has to stay here.”

”No problem.” Luo Hao immediately replied, ”That shield is just a plain item, let’s leave it here.”

”Alright then,” Fang Hong nodded upon hearing this and made the final decision: ”Let’s do it this way.”

Elisa was a bit worried, but hearing his answer, after thinking for a while, she managed to stay calm. She even patted Gita on the shoulder because Miss Natural Historian was so nervous she almost couldn’t speak.

Fang Hong saw Miss Nightingale’s actions and realized something too. He thought for a moment and said, ”Gita, why don’t you stay behind?”

Unexpectedly, Gita looked at him and stubbornly shook her head.

”I, I’ll go with you,” Gita said in a low voice: ”C-Captain.”

Fang Hong silently looked at Miss Natural Historian for a while, then nodded.

He looked at Luo Yu beside him, who also nodded at him.

Only Parker screamed, ”No, everyone, how about letting me stay behind, I, I suddenly have a bit of acrophobia...”

”Sure,” Fang Hong looked at this embarrassing fellow and replied, ”Luo Hao, throw him down.”

”Got it.” Luo Hao immediately rolled up his sleeves.

The Papalarian was so frightened that he almost scrambled and crawled behind Elisa, screaming, ”No no no, I was just kidding...how could I be afraid of heights, did I ever tell you about the time I defeated that Evil Dragon on a dragon’s back...?”

”Wait, Boss, you’ve slain other dragons too!?”

Upon hearing this, Wu Xiaopang was amazed.

But Fang Hong pulled him aside somewhat speechlessly, signaling that he doesn’t need to pay attention to that guy. Although they had already decided on the plan and how to proceed, before taking action, they still had to scout the situation on the other side.

However, the Clockwork Fairy wasn’t very reliable here, unable to be used for long periods, so he planned to ask the other party first, about the general terrain of the pier area.

But just then Elisa suddenly asked an unrelated question: ”How are we dividing the spoils of war?”

Fang Hong was taken aback, only then remembering this issue: ”As for the spoils of war, I think...”

But Miss Nightingale glanced at him and interrupted with a smile, ”What does the Captain want to say?”

Fang Hong looked at her and saw that the other party was wryly watching, her dark eyes seemingly able to speak, the implicit meaning being: ”Lord Captain, did you forget something?”

Fang Hong then realized he had been stripped of negotiation rights, feeling a bit annoyed but having no choice but to close his mouth obediently.

And Fatty Luo did not notice the interaction between the two. Although he found it a bit strange why Fang Hong suddenly fell silent, he looked at Elisa, thinking that the distribution of spoils wasn’t much of a concern for him, given the strength of their opponents. Without Fang Hong and his group, they might have had to abandon the task altogether.

If the task couldn’t be completed, spoils of war naturally wouldn’t hold much significance.

”Actually, we just need to complete the task.” He thought for a moment and answered as such.

But Elisa shook her head, ”Let’s stick to the rules, an eighty-twenty split. If you’re willing to participate in the combat, extra calculations based on contributions can be made. But my suggestion is that the spoils should be temporarily kept by a designated person, and distributed uniformly after the battle.”

Little Fatty nodded, this proposal was nearly perfect, as dividing during the mission process not only wastes time but could also lead to a bunch of trouble.

This is, in fact, the current mainstream distribution method; some even auction the spoils and then split the money directly because contribution value can be calculated to two or three decimal points this way.

The only requirement for this distribution method is that the two teams must have enough mutual trust, and the person responsible for keeping the spoils must be reliable, but this clearly poses no problem for their two teams.

”Then let’s leave the items with Boss Ade for safekeeping.” Little Fatty replied.

Elisa naturally had no objections to such a proposal.

And the other members of the Shield of Lufu had no dissatisfaction with this suggestion since the Seven Seas Travel Group was destined to be the main force in this battle. As the intelligence providers, an eighty-twenty split was an international norm. Elisa’s fair and unbiased suggestion, in fact, made people feel quite favorable towards her.

Fang Hong also just realized this point; he originally intended to propose a fifty-fifty split but, on second thought, that would be too unfair to the Seven Seas Travel Group.

The Seven Seas Travel Group is no extravagant adventure group.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but touch his nose, thinking that it was probably because he spent too much time at Morning Dawn Star and Seven Seas Travel Group. These two adventure groups share the common trait of having an excellent team atmosphere, with few distribution issues.

So his related experience was a bit lacking.

Fang Hong could only comfort himself with this thought.

Although back in Golande, due to being infamously labeled as ’losing rights and humiliating the group’, he was unanimously voted by everyone to be stripped of the right to represent the Seven Seas Travel Group in interest-related negotiations.
