Pillar of Yita

A steep cliff, like a meandering line drawn on paper, distinctly divides the world into two colors—on one side is a grayish-yellow Sand Sea, vast and boundless, with green dots adorning the direction near Tansnier Port, which are oases scattered across the desert; on the other side is the azure sky, transforming in color from light to deep, ultimately becoming a deep blue sea below the floating clouds, sparkling with shimmering waves.

This boundary line could be said to be Tansnier’s ’coastline’, although the locals prefer to call it ’the edge of the land’.

Fang Hong, along with Parker and the others, is now trekking along this winding coastline. From the sky, this group of seven looks more like a small gray dot on the edge of the desert.

The team includes Parker, Luo Yu, Xiangzi, Luo Hao, Elisa, and Gita, who are said to be the future main force of the Seven Seas Travel Group. Due to the characteristics of the Invoker, they may eventually grow beyond Big Cats and Bakins, becoming crucial pillars for this team.

Bakins, Big Cats, and Miss Atira each reacted differently to this fact. The former didn’t react much, after all, he stays on the ship as the Bosun, and the future of a fleet surely involves more than just the Invokers. Managing the native sailors is his true responsibility.

Fang Hong can roughly guess that Mr. Bakins was left as requested by Hilveld. This old Bosun has mentioned more than once about the leisurely life he would pursue after retirement, showing a longing attitude.

But for a loyal, reliable, experienced Bosun with long seafaring experience, of course, he hopes the other will stay.

The reaction of Big Cats and Miss Atira was somewhat peculiar, as neither offered too many opinions. Big Cats only privately suggested that he should nurture ’his own people’. The meaning was vaguely like a fledgling leaving the nest.

This led Fang Hong to suspect for a considerable time since he left Idus southward that the two might leave.

Fortunately, upon reaching Tansnier, it seemed Big Cats and Miss Atira had also forgotten about it, coupled with the appearance of new clues about the ’hidden mastermind’, he gradually settled down.

In fact, Miss Atira is very beloved within the team. According to Tianlan, without the Elf Miss, some fools in the team might die of food poisoning during the journey. This statement is exaggerated but not without reason.

After all, they are all young, except for Gita who is relatively meticulous, others have a tendency to be forgetful. While the most steady two in the team, be it Lion Paladin or Elf Miss, play a role like the Sea-Calming Divine Needle.

If it weren’t for the two overseeing, others might forget important things like water during shopping for supplies.

However, Fang Hong wonders if he is mistaken, as Big Cats recently have gradually reduced the number of times they act with them as a group, especially these days. Mostly, it’s him, Luo Yu, Parker, Xiangzi, and Luo Hao running around.

As for Xiesta, Miss Maid expresses disdain.

In fact, within the team, the only person capable of matching with Miss Maid is Pigeon Fang.

In the team’s second tier, there are Tianlan, Ai Xiaoxiao, and Tang Xin, alongside the Forest group. Among them, Tianlan has been in the team the longest, but has been an Invoker for a shorter time, with a Level considerably lower than Luo Hao’s, and as a Poet, she can only be considered half a combat force.

As for Tang Xin and Ai Xiaoxiao, Fang Hong doesn’t know his cousin’s level. Ai Xiaoxiao gets blood feint, which basically renders her useless. However, seeing her excitement, Fang Hong is too embarrassed to dampen the girl’s spirits.

And although they experienced the battle of Idus, the two barely gained any experience, and their Level remains around the same as when they left Traveler’s Rest.

Among the Forest group, besides the Forest, there are a couple of good seedlings, Fang Hong only found out after asking that Forest, Uncrowned, and others were originally members of their guild’s Youth Training Camp, and have future qualifications to enter the travel group.

Although it’s just a small guild’s travel group, it still makes Fang Hong feel like they’ve found a treasure.

However, these people are currently mostly above newcomer status, yet not quite senior, and he will only consider bringing them for training in relatively safe combat and missions. Moreover, Forest and others were originally forming a second group, which will eventually split from the main group.

Elisa at this moment walks lightly on the gravel, almost elegantly compared to the crowd behind who stagger along with one step deep and one step shallow.

She occasionally glances back, can’t help but purse her lips and smile: ”Does anyone need help?”

Everyone silently shakes their heads.

As the only Shadow Dancer in the team, Miss Nightingale’s agility rating is as high as C-, nearly surpassing Fang Hong’s intelligence rating, making walking on dunes nothing of note to her, perhaps even walking a few steps on quicksand would be possible.

The team’s second agility tier includes Parker and Xiangzi, but the Papalarians are heavily burdened by a massive crossbow behind them, almost as if a giant hand were pressing them into the sand, making it extremely difficult.
