Pillar of Yita

Fang Hong also didn’t expect a shining, bald head to suddenly pop up in front of him.

Moreover, this guy was looking at him with a face full of surprise and excitement, and hurriedly shouted down below, after which seven or eight more people clambered up the cliff.

Fang Hong looked in astonishment at these people who suddenly emerged like groundhogs. They were dressed in dusty traveler coats, wore magic guided armor, and carried large backpacks with rolled sleeping bags and blankets on top, while below hung picks, ropes, shovels, or magic guided weapons.

On their feet, they wore thick ordinary leather boots, with sheathed daggers strapped to them—this was a typical explorer’s outfit.

Adventurers traveling outside usually looked like this, but only Invokers would speak with such a tone. Therefore, Fang Hong immediately recognized these people’s identities.

However, it was the monsoon season heading west, and during this season in Istania, Invokers were indeed rare—perhaps a month ago one could still see many Invokers heading south with the merchant groups, but now even in places like the Artisan Association and the Adventurers’ Guild, you could hardly see anyone.

When this group appeared, the Seven Seas Travel Group members discreetly gripped their weapons and heightened their vigilance.

Although these people didn’t seem hostile, as they had been tracking the Arcanist, their goal was naturally to investigate the Blind Followers, and who knew if these people were not in collusion with cultists like the Dragonfire Guild?

The bald head seemed completely oblivious to this scene.

The other party seemed to recognize them, quickly climbed up, and approached excitedly with a familiar tone: ”Boss Ade, why are you here?”

The six members of the Seven Seas Travel Group immediately focused their gaze on Fang Hong.

Fang Hong: ”???”

He had heard various titles, but being called ’Boss’ seemed to be a first?

But the bald head evidently didn’t think so, still somewhat excited: ”Boss, don’t you remember me? We’ve met once?”

What is all this?

Do we know each other?

Fang Hong blinked his eyes innocently.

He subconsciously thought about his journey from Traveler’s Rest, most of the time not revealing his true identity, and the only two times he showed his real identity were in Elpaxin and Fanric, the former unintentionally, the latter deliberately.

Also, because in Fanric, Diket had revealed that he had been to Dolifen, people should know he had ended Dolifen’s Phantom Realm.

But aside from that, the outside world should not know much about him and the Seven Seas Travel Group.

So where had he met this bald head?

In Fanric or Elpaxin?

He found it strange, as one should easily remember such a ’unique’ person if they had really met. But at the moment, he had no impression of the other party.

Looking at the bald head, Fang Hong felt a bit suspicious—

Unexpectedly, the bald head patted his own head as if he had a sudden realization: ”Boss, you forgot? In the Blood Thistle Woods, what’s that place called...right, Aimumu Fortress, and the Necromancer—right, the Shield of Lufu, Boss, do you remember?”

A flash of inspiration crossed Fang Hong’s mind.

”Oh my, it’s you guys! How come you’ve become like this?”

When mentioned, he finally remembered, back then at Aimumu Fortress underground, he saved the adventure group named ’Shield of Lufu’ from the Dragon Worship Sect’s ’Messenger’. And the bald head in front of him was the little fatty warrior he encountered underground with Shield of Lufu.

Of course, at that time the other party didn’t look like this, he was a bit chubby, but at least he had a head full of thick black hair.

And now, though still chubby, he was tanned and his short black hair had disappeared.

”Ah—!”

Behind him, Gita couldn’t help but let out a surprised low cry, apparently recognizing him too.

The little fatty looked quite startled underground at that time, but now seemed much better. He patted his bald head and smiled proudly: ”Hehe, Boss, I may have gone bald, but naturally I also became stronger...”

But soon someone stood out to debunk him: ”Enough, Mr. Ade, don’t listen to his nonsense, he just lost a bet.”

Fang Hong looked towards the person who spoke, it was one of the two swordsmen from back then, though he didn’t see the other swordsman at the moment.

In fact, there was also the other priest girl he had seen, who was not as tense as before, and even subtly nodded to him, offering a greeting.

The bald little fatty, hearing the swordsman’s words, was immediately red with embarrassment and anger: ”Nonsense, I lost on purpose, otherwise would we have met the Boss?”

Fang Hong: ”...”

Can things be put this way?

...

In fact, he spent some time to understand from them what had happened after Aimumu Fortress and why they were here.

The matter wasn’t complicated—

’Shield of Lufu’ was also a member of the Old Southern Alliance, and after the alliance disbanded, independent adventure groups like them were less impacted compared to general guilds, so their adventure group essentially maintained its original structure.
