Pillar of Yita

But although the establishment remained, life was not easy.

The new alliance of the BBK organization was overly aggressive, further compressing the survival space for these independent adventure groups, leading many originally staying in the south to either join the new alliance or have to leave the Southern Region, seeking opportunities to survive elsewhere.

The ’Shield of Lufu’ did not agree with the new alliance of the BBK organization, so they could only choose the latter path.

And clearly, Little Fatty and the others came to Istania under such a background.

Of course, Colin Ishurian is not only Istania; the north has the Rainbow Alliance, the Descendants of Flor, the Scepter Coast has the East Commonwealth and Elite—but there are still many blank areas in Nogness, Asuka, Grey Whale Archipelago, and Saint Hugon.

Frankly speaking, Istania is located in the Silver Sand Sea, where resources are scarce, not suitable for a long-term stay for an adventure group.

However, according to the swordsman, Little Fatty was here because he lost a bet, getting ’deported’ to this place.

”It’s not entirely like that, can you look at the issue without being so superficial...” Little Fatty was still arguing: ”You never know a blessing in disguise; about coming to this godforsaken place, I think it should be considered separately, from a dialectical perspective...

”You just said it’s a godforsaken place.” The swordsman replied irritably.

Speaking of which, Little Fatty’s ID is quite pretentious, named Uranus, Lord of the Sky, the first King of Gods in Greek mythology. But his strength and name are obviously mismatched, Fang Hong first saw him at level twelve, and he is still revolving around that level.

However, this also shows that the level in Eteliria is not so easy to upgrade. The Seven Seas Travel Group’s rocket-speed level ups were purely due to a series of crazily difficult tasks.

Take their battle with the Silver Mane Giant Spider in Panier Red Mountain for example—normally, such high-difficulty challenges would be avoided by independent adventure groups unless absolutely necessary.

According to common community sayings, an ’extremely high difficulty challenge’ implies at least a seventy percent chance of casualties, and a thirty percent chance of a total wipeout.

For a Grand Guild, they have a large number of auxiliary members as cannon fodder and can accept a certain degree of casualties. But independent adventure groups can’t, as casualties mean a loss of combat power, not to mention total wipeouts.

A total wipeout, when it happens more than twice, an adventure group is basically on the verge of dissolution.

But these levels of challenges, in the context of the Seven Seas Travel Group’s past experiences?

Not even a word like ’difficult’ comes close; from Dolifen to Fenris, which instance wasn’t ten, a hundred times more thrilling?

Then there’s Fanric, Idus, even monster-level beings like Dragon King Leifgard and Wanderer Maryland have appeared.

In any typical adventure group, they would have wiped numerous times, yet the Seven Seas Travel Group hasn’t had any casualties till now. Even Fang Hong wonders whether this is a miracle or just sheer luck?

But after hearing the description, Fang Hong couldn’t help but think of the recent news about Southern Colin Ishurian and tentatively asked: ”So the Free Adventure Group and Guild can only take these two paths in the Southern Region?”

”But I’ve heard there are still quite a few Free Guilds staying in the south?”

”Hm.” The swordsman sulked slightly, sounding a bit disdainful. However, this disdain wasn’t directed at Fang Hong but at the matter itself, and after a snort, he said: ”That ’new’ alliance is nothing like the old Southern Alliance, those people are totally sinister.”

Hearing this, Fang Hong was momentarily stunned.

Now there are factually two ’new’ alliances in Southern Colin Ishurian, one formed by BBK, and another restructured from the Old Southern Alliance, and clearly, the swordsman was referring to the latter.

Judging from the tone, there seems to be quite a bit of dissatisfaction with this alliance.

He instinctively asked: ”What’s wrong?”

”Don’t even mention it,” Little Fatty shook his head directly, ”Those folks are madmen, completely irrational.”

At this point, Fang Hong thought of something and couldn’t help but ask: ”So is it about that matter not long ago?”

What he was referring to was the White City riot, which hadn’t settled yet.

The swordsman nodded.

”To counter BBK, the new alliance even planned to support the Elfendo Council in declaring independence from the Kingdom in self-designated territory in Colin Ishurian—”

Upon hearing this, Fang Hong was nearly dumbfounded.

He had heard about the riots in White City—

But merely thought it was an attack by the Southern Alliance against BBK, like the one before in Dulun, more akin to a manifesto expressing that Free Guilds and Independent Adventure Groups would not bow to the unreasonable demands of the Super Competitive League.

But this is absolutely not a reason for the Southern Alliance to cause a split in Colin Ishurian.

Because not only does it severely violate the ’Stargate Declaration’ between the Third District and Colin Ishurian, but it also contradicts the meaning of the name Free Adventurer. If the new alliance really did this, then how are they any different from BBK at this moment, or the Descendants of Flor?

He couldn’t help but look back at the others.

Xiangzi and Parker evidently hadn’t yet grasped what this meant, but Fang Hong already saw the same serious expression in the eyes of Luo Hao, Luo Yu, Gita, and Elisa.
