Pillar of Yita

The third category is the Combat Fairy.

Not only does it have to take on the original tasks of scouting and communication from the Clockwork Fairy, but in order to handle potential upcoming challenges, it may need further enhancements, especially in its ’combat’ capabilities.

This poses quite high demands on craft design, which Fang Hong’s original lackluster skills naturally couldn’t achieve—but with the groundwork laid by previous classifications, he now at least has one advantage: to some extent, he can ignore costs.

And with this, a new path opens up.

He continued to look down.

Evasion Value 1500, for constructs at this level, the Evasion Value is not considered low, but marked in striking red letters afterward is (-50); indicating that due to overweight, the Evasion Value bore half the penalty.

Similarly, there are reductions for Agility (-25), and Agility Attributes (-30), except for flight constructs that have no balance attributes, all attributes related to agility have devaluations.

The Type II Clockwork Fairy uses the standard Emerald Bird Type 2 Main Core Crystal, which has the typical features of a Core Crystal designed by the Emerald Bird Workshop—large magic power capacity, low magic power output, long overload time, and low overload increase. The magic power capacity of 200M in this level of crystal is quite outstanding, but the output per Talia Tick (bandwidth) is only one-twentieth, only half of the usual one-tenth.

It cannot be compared to the ’Lion’ family crystals that Rotao takes pride in—

An Overload Burden of 35% means that during overload, the core output increases by 35%. The Emerald Bird Crystal’s temperature control is extremely well done, which is a major feature of this series of crystals—it takes nearly a minute for the temperature to reach the critical point in an overload state.

One minute of overload, which is also a characteristic of the Emerald Bird series, although many jokingly say that the 35% increase in overload is neither hot nor cold, not really considered an overload. But it does not change the fact that many still favor this feature, thus choosing this series of crystals.

Fang Hong is a devoted believer of the Emerald Bird Workshop. After getting used to the feel of long overload times, who would want to go back to carefully calculating overload times through the day?

The Main Core Crystal is the most crucial part of a Flexible Construct, whether it’s for power, visual crystal, sound transmitting crystal, chamber rotation and firing structure, all require magic power output. An excellent Main Core Crystal determines the endurance, burst strength, and maneuverability of a Flexible Construct in many aspects.

Fang Hong looked at this Combat Fairy and roughly went over in his mind his demands for this new ’platform’—

The new ’platform’ is pre-designed according to the approximate level of his next-generation Magic Guided Reactor—Ade γae type.

The magic power capacity of the Magic Guided Reactor named Ade βae type has reached 2400M, with a magic power output maximum of one-third, while the upgraded γ type’s performance parameters at least triple this level.

That is, even if the decimals are omitted, the Ade γae type Magic Guided Reactor should reach a capacity of 7200M, with magic power output over 2000M.

Therefore, the performance level of the Main Core Crystal in the new ’platform’ can also triple, especially considering he has already divided the future Clockwork Fairies into three types, and as the main ’Combat Fairy’, the performance level should be able to further improve.

The new ’platform’ should at least require a reconnaissance capability 50% stronger than now to cope with the Level 20 and above battlefield environment. It is better to also have some special abilities to compensate for the Alchemist’s own scouting skill deficiencies.

This means the original ordinary Visual Crystal will need to be eliminated.

He has two choices—one is the Night Vision Crystal, an invention of the Osh People—it can enhance vision in dark conditions and provides the equivalent of a Level 10 scouting skill level in detail resolution.

Basically, when locating targets hidden under cover, its performance can compare to about a Level 7 Nightingale.

Compared to professional Scouts, this little enhancement isn’t much, but paired with a craftsman’s strong battlefield cruising capability, it’s quite adequate.

This is actually the Visual Crystal used in the Type IV Clockwork Fairy ’Night Owl’.

The other choice is the Capture Crystal.

This type of crystal is aimed at dynamic targets, providing perception capabilities equivalent to a Level 15 Scout in tracking dynamic targets—though such powerful capability naturally comes with a trade-off from other areas to compensate.

Firstly, the captor’s field of view is particularly narrow, only half of the usual Clockwork Fairy—reduced from about one hundred eighty degrees to around ninety degrees. Of course, the narrow field can be compensated by multiple Clockwork Fairies, which for Fang Hong isn’t really a big problem.

But another issue is that the Capture Crystal has a very stringent requirement for magic power output—a single Visual Crystal requires 25M of magic power output per Talia Tick, and considering other systems, the magic power output needs to be at least 50M to be sufficient.

This is already far beyond three times the original 10M magic power output per Talia Tick.

Even though he initially reserved a certain margin, it wasn’t meant to be used like this.

So after much consideration, Fang Hong ultimately chose the Night Owl Crystal.

Then, there’s the attack system.

Which is rather simple, enhancing the lethality of firearms—it’s nothing more than improving bullets, enchantments, or replacing with a more powerful firing crystal.

Fang Hong chose the simplest and most straightforward method, directly replacing the firing device with the firing crystal of the Lion Handgun Type Seven, a powerful firing crystal equivalent to adding more ’launch propellant’ to the bullet, further enhancing bullet velocity and kinetic lethality.
