Pillar of Yita

While the shadow hadn’t dissipated yet, in the next instant, Fang Hong appeared beside him, reversing his hand into a claw, striking towards the Wanderer. However, the Wanderer reacted swiftly, turning around and raising his right hand to block—’Boom!’ A loud sound erupted as the two clashed, causing the air to shockingly reverberate, forming a distorted region.

Then Fang Hong retreated, turning around, and the next moment, in the Wanderer’s peripheral vision, he saw a shadow sweeping towards him.

Dragon Tail Strike.

The Wanderer blocked downward with his hand, another loud blast ensued, air currents swirled, piercing sharply through the pit bottom, causing the weakest young Scholar among them to scream miserably and cover his ears.

After Fang Hong retreated, his claw touched the ground, slicing it like a knife through tofu, leaving a deep mark. Then he charged forward again, launching an attack. Instantly, everyone heard a booming sound, and the dust on the ground trembled before dispersing to both sides.

It was only at that moment that they saw Fang Hong lunging forward, causing a cone of cloud to form before him. He passed through the cloud cone, blinking before the Wanderer once more, his claw striking towards him.

The sharp claw cut through the air, nearly creating a white vortex.

The vortex swept across the plaza floor, instantly shattering the slates with a ’crack’ sound.

Nevertheless, the Wanderer kept retreating while blocking, continuously fending off seven or eight times, before counter-attacking, with Fang Hong blocking with his claw, retreating again. Between the clashes, the crowd could only see two shadows briefly entwining on the plaza.

It was then that they parted again.

The Wanderer stepped back, looking at Fang Hong—the expression on his face carried a hint of lingering fear, while behind him, Delice coldly sneered: ”Just a new-born Sky Knight, after all. Such a young Sky Knight is indeed rare. But with your power and your newborn Dragon Soul, I’m afraid you overestimate your capabilities to have any impact on me.”

Yet his words received no immediate reply.

Because before him, Fang Hong’s golden pupils were burning with endless rage, coldly staring at him.

Ever since the Dragon’s Golden Blood surged into his heart, Fang Hong nearly lost control over himself.

He could only hear a colossal and grand pulsating sound in the endless void, echoing within his soul. If not for Tata and Nini, he might have already succumbed to the dark will. Even now, he could barely maintain that last thread of consciousness—

Only a strong and steadfast will lingered within his soul.

To interrupt the opponent’s spell.

To completely end this cycle of fate.

Because it was a promise he made to Miss Eve.

Fang Hong took a heavy gasp, then forced out a sentence through clenched teeth:

”Is that so?”

Before the words finished echoing, his figure flickered as he charged forward again—

The Wanderer sneered coldly at the sight, knowing the opponent had already lost his rationality. But as he said, this mere power wasn’t enough to threaten him. The young man had wasted enough of his time, as the spell dissection was about to succeed, he was unwilling to keep up this farce any longer.

He stretched out his right hand, and the sword on the distant plaza, guided by an invisible force, flew back into his hand.

Next up, this would be the final strike—

The Wanderer raised the sword, the cold light of the blade reflecting the eternal depths in his eyes. After a hundred years since the battle with Yoshude, it seemed so similar—but it was time to end it, he thought.

He raised the sword.

But in the next moment, the cold expression froze on his face.

At that instant, the Wanderer’s face reflected a mix of extreme disbelief and shock, his movements seemed to slow down several folds, watching helplessly as Fang Hong’s fist slipped past his sword edge, slowly coming towards him.

Yet he didn’t even notice this scene.

Because in his gaze, at the plaza’s far end, beneath the shadows, two individuals walked out slowly, standing behind Fang Hong.

One.

Wearing a purple robe, with full black hair, holding the Colin Ishurian Royal Staff, gazing placidly at the scene. As if everything was just like a hundred years ago, seen in that epic battle.

And another.

Similarly holding a long staff, but underneath the robe, revealed white, skeletal ribs, atop a somewhat comical skeleton head, two eye sockets, staring at him hollowly.

The long staff in its hand had a vivid emblem of the wolf.

Both individuals, chanting spells in their mouths, pointed their magic wands at him.

At that instant, the Wanderer felt time as if it slowed down hundreds of times.

And Fang Hong’s fist was advancing little by little, visible to the naked eye, unerringly smashing into his nasal bone.

”This punch,” Fang Hong grinned, baring his teeth.

He enunciated each word, speaking through clenched teeth:

”In the name of revenge.”

A punch.

A resounding boom.

In the eyes of everyone shocked.

The Wanderer flew sideways like a severed kite.

And when Fang Hong landed, in that instant, a hint of doubt flashed through his heart.

Why did the other hesitate at the last moment? Yet similar hesitation didn’t appear within Fang Hong at this moment. He paused only for a brief moment, his figure swiftly flickered forward, seemingly chasing the Wanderer halfway in the air like a shadow, then delivering another heavy punch.

The Wanderer immediately veered towards the ground, crashing into the pit with a roar, raising a cloud of dust. Only then did Fang Hong land, loosening his claw, looking in that direction—the dust on the plaza hadn’t yet settled. But it was silent.

The curse, interrupted.
