Pillar of Yita

But it wasn’t until this moment that Queen Nether felt a sense of surprise.

This ordinary Invoker.

Turned out to be somewhat of a little genius.

Of course, that’s all there was to the so-called little genius.

As the sole bearer of the title, Construct Queen, Queen Nether had seen many geniuses over the years—Eteliria gave birth to countless talented youths each year, among them not lacking successors to top Combat Artisans. As the guild primarily focused on Combat Artisans, the Godslayer’s Youth Training Team also had its fair share of such genial talents.

Yet it wasn’t enough to truly capture her interest.

On the other hand, Sophie, upon hearing the light sigh from the other side, couldn’t help but smile slightly to herself, looking forward very much to the interaction between the two. She hadn’t been kind enough to inform the other party about Fang Hong’s level of skill, but she believed it would definitely surprise Her Majesty.

Just thinking about that scene made her somewhat excited, and even more so, she fell silent.

However, Queen Nether, remembering her task, still mentioned, ”Little guy, can you share your Clockwork Fairy’s vision with big sister?”

Fang Hong naturally complied smoothly—he was still waiting for the other party to give him some guidance. The videos of Queen Nether, FOX, and Loofah left on the community, mostly were public, but Fang Hong was well aware that their team and guild certainly had more detailed versions.

That wasn’t something an outsider like him could hope to touch.

He naturally seized such a good opportunity.

After he had shared his vision, Queen Nether didn’t say much, only observed carefully for a moment, and found that the other party’s foundation was quite solid. His handling of the Clockwork Fairy flowed smoothly, with almost no pause in the changing postures.

This was indeed rare. The Godslayers’ current Youth Training Team was not bad, but the level of several skilled Combat Artisans was about the same.

But Queen Nether thought that perhaps it was because the other party was more familiar with Clockwork Fairy, not that her view was rigid, but for many Free Summoners, since Flexible Constructs were expensive, using Clockwork Fairy for a long period for practice and assuming the role of the second scouting position in the team was indeed commonplace.

And now, could Free Summoner Combat Artisans match the level of the Godslayers’ Elite Youth Training Team? Such a thing, she could hardly believe no matter what.

Upon closer inspection, she realized that the other party’s route was very special, bearing some resemblance to FOX, and even some to herself, but there were other parts that even she somewhat couldn’t understand, yet the vision was exceptionally good.

After a while, she somewhat surprisedly realized, the other party was actually using a wide field mode in a narrow area to control—what was this? Queen Nether shook her head, thinking she had seen wrong, but after looking again, she found it was indeed the case.

Could it actually be done this way?

This made the Construct Queen feel as if a doorway to a New World had been opened, but as an experienced Combat Artisan, she knew very well this was because it was under the other’s control. Using wide field mode in a narrow area was definitely not as simple as imagined; otherwise, would they have waited for a rookie like this to develop it?

”Interesting.” Queen Nether suddenly felt a bit intrigued.

And it was at this moment, a squad of Night Lizard People Patrol Team flashed through their field of vision.

Fang Hong had gambled correctly; the other party hadn’t let down their guard at all, even during the assault, they had left enough manpower in the periphery. And his use of FOX’s method had also aptly outlined the periphery’s security line, perfectly realizing his original tactical concept.

Indeed, upon seeing this scene, he immediately waved to Xiangzi nearby, ”This way, follow me.”

Over there, Xiangzi seemed to snap back to reality and said, ”Captain, this guy here seems pretty awesome, he taught me a lot. Some stuff he taught is even more thorough than what the boss of Lonely White Field taught.”

”Nonsense,” Fang Hong couldn’t help but roll his eyes. ”That’s Odin, the top warrior in the country.”

Heaven knows how suddenly so many big shots entered their communication channel.

But it was right then that Queen Nether suddenly spoke, ”It’s better to take the second path on the east side, which is also a weak point and more favorable for an assault. You haven’t observed carefully enough, kid.”

Fang Hong stopped, ”I haven’t ignored that direction, but isn’t it unsafe there?”

Queen Nether intoned meaningfully, ”From your choice, it seems you quite like your big sister here. Are you trying to learn my swift tactics? You’ve managed to get about seventy to eighty percent right, but unfortunately, it’s still not true swift tactics. Let me tell you why.”

She paused.

”Tell me, kid, do you know the maximum scouting range of the Night Lizard People, what are the approximate values of their scouting skills?”

Fang Hong was stunned.

Suddenly, he thought of something. He had always felt deep down that swift tactics had their limits. Queen Nether could execute them at such a high level because her flexible construct was faster than anyone else’s.

That means once she broke through the defense lines, no one could react in time.

But if it were an ordinary person.

That might not necessarily be the case.

And swift tactics were unique within the realm of combat artisans, seemingly for this reason. Fang Hong was actually modifying this pathway of thought in order to better compensate for the flaws of swift tactics when a speed advantage was lost.

But when Nether spoke these words,

a flash of lightning seemed to cross Fang Hong’s mind. For the first time, he understood the real core idea behind the tactic—know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be in peril.

Indeed, just as Her Majesty had said, perception and information are the primary elements of the battlefield.

At that moment, his understanding of swift tactics suddenly became clear, as if a cloud had been lifted, and he understood what he should do. He paused thoughtfully, his movements subtly changing.

But of course, he had no idea that in the command center’s great hall, his actions were clearly visible to everyone, and suddenly, a deep murmur of surprise rose in the hall.

”Wait, switch to the Clockwork Fairy’s vision.”

”What is that guy doing!?”

Queen Nether also looked up, somewhat surprised as she watched the flight paths of several Clockwork Fairies suddenly change on a few split screens. But a sharp glint flashed in her eyes as she suddenly understood Fang Hong’s intention.

This guy actually got it?

For a moment, Queen Nether genuinely felt that those she had taught before were truly idiots, hopelessly so.
