Berserk God of War

Chapter 450: Chapter 450: The Ten-Move Agreement

Ning Jingjing spoke in a low voice, ”Commander, Ji Han is the Emperor’s youngest brother, always arrogant and domineering. Knowing Sikong Jing as I do, I fear that he won’t let this go easily, and this might blow up into something big.”

Having said this, Ning Jingjing’s eyes filled with worry.

However, Beigong Xianfeng remained unfazed and said, ”Rest assured, as long as I am here, I won’t let Sikong Jing be wronged.”

Hearing this, Ning Jingjing took a deep breath and felt relieved.

Beigong Xianfeng was the Empire’s Old Commander, who had established great military merits for the Long Night Empire. Even the Emperor himself held him in high regard.

Moreover, he was the Emperor’s Master, the teacher of the Emperor.

Then, Beigong Xianfeng continued, ”Prince Ji Han ranks 980th on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List. It is a good opportunity to test Sikong Jing’s current strength and see how long it will take for him to enter the Thousand Dominator List.”

Upon hearing this, Ning Jingjing was thoroughly shaken, her interest piqued.

Sikong Jing would confront Ji Han, ranked 980th on the East Plain Thousand Dominator List. How many moves could he withstand from the latter?

At this moment, Sikong Jing had already sent all the black-robed masters flying, his long sword pointing directly at Prince Ji Han, ”You struck Little An with six swords, so now I will return these six swords to you.”

As Sikong Jing’s words fell, Little An emitted a rolling long cry, and a torrent of killing intent and demonic power surged toward Ji Han.

The latter’s brows slightly furrowed as he slowly spoke, ”Cao Yi, aren’t you coming over to protect this prince?”

Despite saying this, he had no fear. What could a mask-wearing man do to him?

He was the Young Prince of the Long Night Empire, the youngest brother of the Long Night Emperor. In the Long Night Empire, who would dare touch him, and who could touch him? A word from him could summon the entire Black Burning Army to his protection.

In his eyes, Sikong Jing was as insignificant as sand.

But before Cao Yi could react, Beigong Xianfeng was already in front of Ji Han, looking at Sikong Jing and saying, ”Dark Wing Commander, this is Prince Ji Han. Please hold off for now.”

Seeing this, Sikong Jing grabbed Little An and silently stared at Beigong Xianfeng.

He indeed heard Ji Han claim himself as the prince, but he did not care. Now, Sikong Jing wanted to see how Beigong Xianfeng would handle this. If it was up to him as the commander, Ji Han would have faced military discipline...

Eagerly coveting a military mount was nothing but contempt for military discipline.

This had happened before in the Great Shang Dynasty, where a prince acted recklessly in the military, and as the commander back then, Sikong Jing had beaten him with one hundred military sticks and threw him out of the camp.

Facing Sikong Jing’s gaze, Beigong Xianfeng slightly smiled and gave him a reassuring look, then turned to Ji Han and said, ”Young prince, what is all this about?”

Ji Han faced Beigong Xianfeng and slightly bowed, his previously dismissive expression somewhat moderated, but still casually replied, ”I just like this Dark Winged Dragon Eagle and wanted to tame it.”

At those words, Beigong Xianfeng’s face turned cold as he sternly said, ”Young Prince, this is the Black Burning Army of the Long Night, where all demon beast mounts are the blades of the nation. You cannot simply have one because you say so.”

Being rebuked like this, Ji Han’s expression turned sour as he retorted with a cold laugh, ”It’s just an eagle. I only want one, no more than that. Can’t I, as the Young Prince, have one?”

”No!” Beigong Xianfeng said decisively.

In an instant, Ji Han’s expression grew even uglier. Suppressing his anger, he said, ”I’m not asking for it for free. I intend to offer an Innate Treasure as compensation, and by giving me the eagle, I can grant him wealth and rank.”

Snap!

The next moment, Beigong Xianfeng slapped Ji Han’s face, his old eyes flashing coldly.

Startled, Ji Han covered his face and cried out, ”Beigong Xianfeng, how dare you strike me?”

”Why wouldn’t I dare to strike you?”

”I am the Emperor’s Master, appointed by the former emperor. I am the teacher of the Emperor. The Emperor once told me to properly discipline you royals and nobles. Why couldn’t I strike you?”

Beigong Xianfeng’s voice boomed out, overwhelmingly dominant.

Ji Han trembled all over, the Beigong Vanguard held a very high position in the Long Night Empire, and his status as a Young Prince was nothing in comparison.

Even Princes could be directly disciplined by Beigong Vanguard.

”I hit you because this is the Long Night Black Burning Army. My men do not rely on flattery for wealth and honor but on the heads of enemies on the battlefield. Do not bring those tactics here, otherwise, every time I see it, I’ll hit you.”

Beigong Vanguard’s words were stern, and then he added deeply, ”However, Young Prince, if you want the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle, It’s not impossible.”

At these words, Cao Yi was stunned. What did the commander mean?

”In the Long Night Black Burning Army, we speak with our fists.”

”This year, my Dark Wing Commander reached the Xuanjiang Realm Sixth Layer at the age of twenty. If you can defeat him within ten moves, then I can give you the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle. How about that?”

At these words, Sikong Jing slightly furrowed his brow. Was Beigong Vanguard offering him an opportunity to establish his authority?

Or did he think that he wouldn’t be able to catch Ji Han’s ten moves and was giving the Young Prince a way out?

On the other hand, Ji Han’s eyes lit up, ”Are you serious?”

”I always mean what I say without contradiction.”

Beigong Vanguard nodded firmly, then added, ”But if you, Young Prince, cannot defeat my Dark Wing Commander within ten moves, then the six swords on the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle must be returned to him.”

At this, Beigong Vanguard’s eyes gleamed; he wanted to force out Sikong Jing’s full combat potential.

At this moment, Ji Han burst into laughter, ”Haha, okay, I agree.”

Beigong Vanguard heard this and ignored him.

He looked at Sikong Jing on the back of Little An and said, ”Dark Wing Commander, come down first, this battle can’t be a mounted one.”

Sikong Jing didn’t waste words and leapt off Little An’s back.

Then, Beigong Vanguard stepped closer and whispered, ”Brother Sikong, don’t underestimate Ji Han, the Young Prince. Despite his frivolous nature, his Martial Arts Talent is incredibly fearsome. He’s also ranked 980th on the East Plain’s Thousand Tyrant List. Try to catch his ten moves as best as you can.”

”Otherwise, your Dark Winged Dragon Eagle will have to be given to him.”

Upon hearing this, an intense gleam burst in Sikong Jing’s eyes; now he understood what Beigong Vanguard intended.

He wanted him to experience the strength of these geniuses on the Thousand Tyrant List and was using Little An to coax out his full combat potential to catch the opponent’s ten moves.

Sikong Jing nodded expressionlessly and responded, ”Just ten moves, wouldn’t that be bullying too much?”

What?

Beigong Vanguard was stunned for a moment, then quickly straightened his face and said, ”Brother Sikong, do not underestimate the geniuses of the East Plain’s Thousand Tyrant List; you might not be able to catch even his ten moves if you’re this contemptuous.”

Sikong Jing felt a chill in his heart; he had never encountered anyone from the Thousand Tyrant List before.

Perhaps the genius on the list truly was terrifyingly formidable?

He immediately straightened his expression and nodded firmly, ”Good, I will take it seriously.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing stepped forward, facing Ji Han, and True Qi surged all over his body.

On the other side, Ji Han had an entirely different demeanor; he looked at ease, slightly lifting his chin and said, ”So you’re only at the Sixth Layer of the Xuanjiang Realm, but being just twenty years old, no wonder Beigong Old Commander values you so highly.”

”All right, now you may make your move.”

Speaking thus, still with a face full of disdain, Ji Han didn’t regard Sikong Jing seriously at all.

Being strong in mounted combat doesn’t mean he is equally strong in foot combat. Besides, his mount was the Fierce Beast Dark Winged Dragon Eagle; it was not strange to be strong with such a mount.
