Berserk God of War

Chapter 429: Chapter 429: Dark Wings Knight, Sword Slays Daoist Martial

Shui Bingqu’s face was ashen as he watched his beloved granddaughter, Shui Yuyin, taken hostage while his fists clenched with a crackling sound.

After a long moment, he spoke ominously, ”Young fellow, this is Wentian City, at the foot of Heavenly Dao Palace. You’d better think carefully before you speak, otherwise you will not leave the Shui family alive.”

The Thousand Cold Red Lotus’s Red Core, that was a precious treasure; how could he easily hand it over?

As for kneeling and apologizing, such an act that would disgrace the Heavenly Dao Palace was even less likely to happen.

With Shui Yuyin, the Shui family had the terrifying backing of the Heavenly Dao Palace, and Shui Bingqu wasn’t afraid of Sikong Jing, cautioning him accordingly.

However, Sikong Jing’s expression remained unchanged as he said, ”I’m only asking you, will you hand it over or not? Will you kneel or not?”

”You’re dreaming...”

Having said that, Shui Bingqu forcefully pressed his True Qi towards Sikong Jing.

Confident that the pressure from the Third Realm of Daoist Martial was enough to immobilize Sikong Jing instantly, he sought the opportunity to rescue Shui Yuyin.

But Sikong Jing just laughed, the pressure from the Third Realm of Daoist Martial was as nothing to him.

He gently raised his palm and viciously slapped Shui Yuyin...

Smack!

A crisp sound erupted on Shui Yuyin’s face, and her whole body was flung away, screaming as she landed harshly.

Sikong Jing didn’t even glance at her, turning back to Shui Bingqu and said, ”Since you chose a funeral, then I... will oblige you!”

Having said this, Sikong Jing lifted the Blue Cloud Sword in his hand, pointing it directly at Shui Bingqu.

The whole scene was stunned yet again...

What was this student of the Holy Dragon Academy trying to do?

Why would he let a good hostage be flung away, and he wanted to confront Shui Bingqu from the Third Realm of Daoist Martial with a brained-damaged move?

Xuantian Third Realm facing the Third Realm of Daoist Martial, a gap of five great realms!

No matter how talented he was, even if he was a Super War Body, he couldn’t possibly win; the gap was just too huge.

Even Shui Bingqu was taken aback at this moment, was Sikong Jing trying to challenge him at the peak of the Xuanhe Realm? Was he tired of living, even preparing to offer his head?

”Grandfather, kill them all, leave none alive!”

At this moment, Shui Yuyin finally could speak, covering her face as she cried out frantically, ”Don’t worry about the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace retaliating against the Shui family. The Heavenly Dao Palace will protect us, kill him!”

In Shui Yuyin’s heart, her hatred was surging.

She was a top-five student of the Heavenly Dao Palace, held in high esteem; admired and envied by countless people, but at this moment, during her grandfather’s birthday celebration, she was publicly humiliated by a Holy Dragon Academy student from the Xuanhe Realm, defeated across two levels, becoming the subject of ridicule.

With no face left, not killing Sikong Jing would not quench the hatred in Shui Yuyin’s heart...

Hearing this, Shui Bingqu’s face twisted fiercely, glaring at Sikong Jinghan and coldly said, ”Quite the talent, but you shouldn’t be so arrogant and you shouldn’t have come here. Your existence will not be tolerated by the Heavenly Dao Palace.”

”By killing you... the Heavenly Dao Palace might even reward me...”

As he spoke, Shui Bingqu’s aura became increasingly wild, his eyes brimming with killing intent.

The entire audience kept retreating, nearly everyone agreeing with Shui Bingqu. Although the Heavenly Dao Palace and the Holy Dragon Academy had no feud, they were still competitors, and clashes were common.

If there was an opportunity, the two major acadacies would gladly kill each other’s genius students.

This Sikong Jing was so formidable, the Heavenly Dao Palace would definitely not keep him.

If Shui Bingqu killed him, he might even directly become part of the Heavenly Dao’s family, guaranteeing the Shui family the protection of the Heavenly Dao Palace forever.

”People of the Shui family, listen up, kill them.”

As Shui Bingqu’s voice fell, a host of the Shui family’s experts also charged out, rushing towards Sikong Jing and the other two.

At the same time, dozens of Heavenly Dao Palace students also moved, screaming as they attacked.

But Sikong Jing remained unmoved, slowly speaking, ”Senior Sister Baili, Senior Brother Lang, let’s have a good fight today.”

As his words fell, the three of them soared into the air.

”Aow...”

The next moment, three dragon roars echoed through the air, led by the young eagle Xiao’an, as three Demon Dragons surged forward, instantly carrying the three of them onto their backs, while a wild burst of demonic power swept across the entire scene.

Sikong Jing stood upright on the back of Xiao’an, pointing with his long sword, ”Kill!”

In an instant, he merged as one with Xiao’an; the Dark Wing Black Burning Sword nearly fused with Xiao’an’s meridians. Xiao’an, having reached the Second Realm of Daoist Martial, explosively unleashed his demonic power, sweeping through the entire Shui Family.

It was only then that someone exclaimed in shock, ”His mount is a Dark Winged Dragon Eagle, at the Daoist Martial level.”

Upon hearing this, people finally understood where Sikong Jing’s confidence came from, as he indeed possessed a Daoist Martial Level Fierce Beast Mount.

”It’s useless, the students of the Holy Dragon Palace have mounts, and so does the Shui Family,” a guest stated emphatically.

Indeed, Shui Bingqu roared, ”Everyone mount your demon beast mounts, don’t let them have a chance to flee.”

Right after that, he too summoned a Daoist Martial Level demon beast, mounted it, and charged towards Sikong Jing... What of the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle? It was merely a young eagle, and he, Shui Bingqu, hardly considered it a threat.

As Shui Bingqu soared into the sky, the elites of the Shui Family and the students of the Heavenly Dao Palace swiftly mounted their beasts, closing in to attack Sikong Jing and his two companions.

Outside the Shui Family Manor, the guards from Wanbao Pavilion looked at each other, perplexed...

”Boss, what should we do?” The guards looked towards their leader.

The leader twitched his mouth corner and spoke softly, ”Be ready to intervene at any moment, we must ensure the young master’s safety.”

The guards nodded, slowly drawing their weapons...

But at the very next moment, suddenly one of the guards widened his eyes and shouted, ”Boss, look! That guy with the Sikong surname, he seems to have merged into one with the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle.”

Instantly, all the guards from Wanbao Pavilion looked up, and at first, they couldn’t spot Sikong Jing at all.

All they saw was a surge of sword light upon the dragon eagle.

In that moment, Sikong Jing and Xiao’an had become one. Facing the dense crowd of Shui Family elites and Heavenly Dao Palace students, his sword ignited with black flames, lashing out with each strike.

Pu pu pu...

Wherever the sword light passed, the sound of blood spraying continued to resonate, and everyone saw the black sword light repeatedly thrust into the air, as Sikong Jing seemed to have ignited the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle’s wings, which were as sharp as swords.

The sword light was like a meteor shower, continually falling around them.

”Aaaah...”

Screams of agony kept sounding continuously.

The guests widened their eyes; they saw bodies fall from the sky, and a rain of blood unexpectedly began pouring down over the banquet.

Thud thud thud...

The bodies of both demon beasts and Shui Family elites fell one after another, creating a series of heavy impacts.

At this moment, Sikong Jing’s chilling voice resounded.

”Senior Sister Baili, Senior Brother Lang, the rest are up to you; I’ll go and slay Shui Bingqu.”

After speaking, he and Xiao’an transformed into a black streak of light, charging towards Shui Bingqu.

With a booming sound, the two collided fiercely; Sikong Jing’s voice could be heard once more.

”Shui Bingqu, why choose to make your birthday a day of sacrifice?”

Having said that, Sikong Jing rode Xiao’an and struck down!

The latter’s face had unconsciously filled with panic; facing the terrifyingly powerful Dragon Eagle Knight Sikong Jing, he lost the confidence he had before.

For he had witnessed Sikong Jing, riding the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle, slaughtering the Shui Family elites as if they were chickens!

Why was this happening?

Both he and his mount were at the Third Realm of Daoist Martial, while his opponent was only at the peak of the Xuanhe Realm; even with the Second Realm of Daoist Martial’s Dark Winged Dragon Eagle, it shouldn’t have been this powerful. It defied all logic.

He didn’t know that Sikong Jing was indeed a defiance of all logic.
