Berserk God of War

Chapter 428: Chapter 428: A Birthday Gift or a Funeral?

Senior Brother He Jia’s sword?

Dozens of students from the Heavenly Dao Academy showed disbelief in their eyes.

Sikong Jing still ignored Shui Yuyin and continued to look at Shui Bingqu.

”The sword’s name is Blue Cloud, a high-level Hong-grade sword.”

”It originally belonged to He Jia, a student of the Long Night Heavenly Dao Academy, and I seized it from him within the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace. That is the origin of this sword.”

This sword was indeed taken from He Jia by Sikong Jing.

At that time, to force Ma Daoming to submit and reveal the whereabouts of Baili Que, he took this sword and was ready to take He Jia’s life.

After that, Sikong Jing immediately departed on the Long Question Mark Divine Spaceship, naturally not intending to return the sword...

At this moment, the expressions of everyone present changed, especially those from the Shui Family.

Because of Shui Yuyin’s presence, the Shui Family recognized He Jia as he was her senior brother at the Heavenly Dao Academy and very likely to become her husband in the future, thus becoming the Shui Family’s son-in-law.

What’s more terrifying was Sikong Jing’s statement that the Blue Cloud Sword was snatched from He Jia’s hands.

Shui Bingqu felt a chilling sensation all over his body, his fist clenched slightly as he asked in return, ”You want to give this sword to me?”

”Yes...”

”But there’s a condition, return the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core and have Shui Yuyin kneel and apologize to my Senior Sister Baili.”

Sikong Jing’s voice boomed out, sweeping across the entire venue.

It’s here...

The guests’ hearts tightened, their fists clenched as well, their eyes filled with anticipation and excitement.

But then, a student from the Heavenly Dao Academy raged, ”What a joke, who the hell do you think you are to speak such madness?”

Whoosh...

Sikong Jing looked up, without a word, and thrust out a sword light from the Blue Cloud Sword, aiming straight for this Heavenly Dao Academy student.

However, the moment the sword light reached him, it was crushed into pieces by Shui Bingqu’s fierce slap.

Then, Shui Bingqu turned his gaze back to Sikong Jing and coldly asked, ”What if I refuse to hand it over?”

Sikong Jing slowly raised the sword in his hand and spoke indifferently, ”Then this birthday gift of yours will be accompanied by a funeral.”

At the word ”funeral,” the whole venue seemed to be enveloped by a chilling wind, a torrent of killing intent.

Sikong Jing meant that if Shui Bingqu didn’t hand over the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core and if Shui Yuyin didn’t kneel and apologize, he would use the Blue Cloud Sword in his hand to chop down Shui Bingqu... turning his birthday into a day of mourning.

How outrageous, truly outrageous!

”Ignorant boy, how dare you threaten my grandfather.”

At that point, Shui Yuyin could not listen any longer.

The aura of the Xuanhai Realm burst out, rolling towards Sikong Jing, with a sword in her hand pointing directly at him.

”You, at the peak of the Xuanhe Realm, dare to say that He Jia’s sword was taken by you?”

”If I’m not wrong, it must have been seized by the collective efforts of your Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, right?”

”Your Holy Dragon Palace really has the audacity, while fighting a relentless battle with the Xingluo Palace, you still dare to provoke our Heavenly Dao Academy?”

When Sikong Jing unleashed the sword light, his realm was also exposed in front of Shui Yuyin, merely at the peak of the Xuanhe Realm.

Of course, Shui Yuyin didn’t believe that he could defeat He Jia, who was of the Xuanhai Realm.

But since Baili Que had been rescued, it proved that the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace had acted beyond their expectations, launching a collective attack and suppressing Elder Ma Daoming who went to show off at the Holy Dragon Palace.

Considering the current situation of the Holy Dragon Palace, if that wasn’t audacity, what was?

”It was the Heavenly Dao Academy that provoked me first...”

”Our Holy Dragon Palace is just not accustomed to being stepped on.”

”And the things that were taken from us must be snatched back; I will recover them in exactly the way they were taken from us.”

Sikong Jing was too lazy to explain the situation at the Holy Dragon Palace with Ma Daoming, instead he coldly voiced out, his sword pointing at Shui Yuyin.

As his words fell, a streak of sword light burst out from the Blue Cloud Sword, stabbing towards her.

”Grandpa, you all don’t interfere, I want to show the students of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace just how trash they are.” After Shui Yuyin spoke to Shui Bingqu, she arrogantly looked at Sikong Jing, ”The three of you, come at me together!”

In the face of Sikong Jing’s sword light, she wore only a color of contempt.

The same words, the peak of Xuanhe Realm was, in her eyes, dispensable.

As for Baili Que, a mere defeated underling; the last guy who looked all honest and obedient, even less likely to be a real expert.

Clang!

Shui Yuyin wielded her sword and casually dispelled Sikong Jing’s sword light, laughing disdainfully, ”Such weaklings dare to come to my Shui Family seeking death. Today, even if the experts from your Long Night Saint Dragon Palace come, they won’t be able to save you.”

As her words concluded, Shui Yuyin, holding her sword, aggressively stepped towards Sikong Jing.

The people around exchanged looks, someone said, ”Really, I thought the students of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace were something special, but their leader is just at the peak of the Xuanhe Realm, does he not know his own limit?”

”Talking big but ending up so weak, it’s really funny.”

”I bet there are definitely experts from the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace around here, but since Shui Yuyin was well prepared and didn’t allow the Shui Family to interfere, it’s just a fight between students, and the Holy Dragon Palace experts definitely wouldn’t dare to act recklessly.”

”Right, at the base of the Heavenly Dao Palace’s mountain, if experts from the Holy Dragon Palace made a move, they would anger the entire Heavenly Dao Palace.”

None of the audience favored Sikong Jing and his companions, the guests who hoped the Shui Family would come to misfortune could only sigh repeatedly.

However, Sikong Jing’s voice rose again, ”Lang Yizhan of the main Heavenly Dao Academy, with his Xuanjiang Realm, received ten strikes from me, so for you, from the Heavenly Dao Branch Academy and in the Xuanhai Realm, how many strikes can you take?”

Upon hearing this, Shui Yuyin felt a sudden sense of panic. Lang Yizhan managed only ten strikes, what kind of joke was that?

Even if she was a realm higher than Lang Yizhan, she wasn’t his opponent!

The next moment, Sikong Jing drew his sword and shouted lowly, ”Dark Wings, Black Burning Sword!”

Hum!

The sword in his hand released a pitch-black sword light, transformed into black flames as it attacked Shui Yuyin, clang clang clang... the terrifying sword light like dragon sculpted wings flickered around Shui Yuyin, who hastily parried with her sword, as the sound of clashing metal exploded.

At the same time, Lang Yisuo spoke out, ”One sword, two swords, three swords...”

”Ah...”

Suddenly, the overconfident Shui Yuyin let out a tragic scream.

The fight ceased in that instant, revealing Sikong Jing’s sword, which for some reason had already pierced into Shui Yuyin’s shoulder.

She, meanwhile, clutched her sword, her whole body trembling.

The entire place went silent once more, the guests who had looked down on Sikong Jing couldn’t help but stand up, gasping in shock.

Then Lang Yisuo’s voice broke the silence, ”Junior Brother Sikong, Shui Yuyin only received six of your strikes.”

Six strikes, just six strikes!

The number six resounded in everyone’s minds, bringing shock, confusion, and frenzy.

How could this student of the Holy Dragon Palace, at the mere peak of the Xuanhe Realm, be so terrifying?

”Yu Yin...”

Finally, at this moment, Shui Bingqu, overwhelmed with shock, came to his senses and slammed towards Sikong Jing, with the imposing aura of the Third Realm of Daoist Martial rolling in, like a Fierce Beast from ancient times.

However, Sikong Jing showed no fear, instantly drawing his sword to Shui Yuyin’s throat and smiling in the face of the onrushing Shui Bingqu.

Immediately, Shui Bingqu was frightened into stopping his power, staring fixedly at Sikong Jing.

”Let go of Yu Yin, or I’ll annihilate you.”

Whoosh, a crowd of Shui Family experts rushed out, surrounding Sikong Jing and his two companions.

Facing such a scene, Sikong Jing’s expression didn’t change as he said, ”Still the same condition as before, hand over the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core and make Shui Yuyin kneel and apologize, or else... I’ll give you a funeral!”

Sikong Jing’s sword pressed against Shui Yuyin’s throat, he stood coldly amidst the Shui Family experts.

He was overwhelmingly domineering!
