Berserk God of War

Chapter 430: Chapter 430: Obtaining the Flower Core, Drifting Away

When Sikong Jing stepped onto the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle, he could no longer be described by the ordinary standards of the Xuanhe Realm.

Who else could merge with the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle as one like he did?

Boom, boom, boom...

After hundreds of moves exchanged frantically between the two riders...

Sikong Jing decapitated Shui Bingqu with a strike of his Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, like a stream of dark light slicing through Shui Bingqu’s neck; a great head soared high into the air.

Shui Bingqu, dead!

Sikong Jing caught Shui Bingqu’s head and held it high, facing the crowd and declared, ”Shui Bingqu is dead, those who lay down their weapons will not be killed!”

At his words, the entire place fell silent.

One moment, two moments, three moments...

”Grandfather...”

”Family Head...”

Shui Yuyin and the people of the Shui Family screamed frantically.

They roared and surrounded Sikong Jing, but when they faced his eyes, cold and demonic, they all stopped.

After their rage, they felt only an ice-cold chill; Shui Bingqu of the Third Realm of Daoist Martial had been killed.

Slain by an apprentice of the Holy Dragon Palace at the peak of the Xuanhe Realm.

And Shui Bingqu was the Shui Family’s strongest, now for Shui Yuyin and others to charge forward meant nothing but certain death.

Realizing this, the Shui Family’s masters began to retreat, a dense fear emerging spontaneously.

In contrast, Sikong Jing stepped forward boldly, pointing his sword at Shui Yuyin and demanded, ”Hand over the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core, or face death without mercy.”

With those words, the terrifying Black Burning Sword Light completely surrounded Shui Yuyin.

”Gulp...”

Everyone present, regardless of their allegiance, couldn’t help but swallow.

Sikong Jing shouted again, ”I’ll count to three, no core, Shui Yuyin dies.”

”Three, two...”

Before Sikong Jing could finish counting, a hoarse voice said, ”Please don’t kill our Yu Yin; here is the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core.”

An elder from the Shui Family held up an exquisite gift box high for Sikong Jing.

A gleam flashed in Sikong Jing’s eyes as he controlled the young eagle Xiao’an to swiftly swoop in front of the Shui Family elder, snatching the gift box from his hands, quickly opened it, and then glanced towards Baili Que.

The latter nodded solemnly and replied, ”Yes, it is indeed the same Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core I retrieved before.”

At that, a flash of joy passed through Sikong Jing’s eyes, and he immediately stored it inside the Golden Soul Palace.

Then he appeared in front of Shui Yuyin, slap...

A slap hurled her harshly from her mount as Sikong Jing, controlling the young eagle Xiao’an to dive down, pointed his sword at her and commanded, ”Kneel and apologize to Senior Sister Baili...”

Shui Yuyin’s face twisted in agony; her grandfather had died during the feast, and the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core had been taken back.

Now, Sikong Jing was forcing her to kneel, the bastard!

”Kek kek kek...”

Shui Yuyin’s teeth chattered as she growled, ”Impossible, I, an apprentice of Long Night Heavenly Dao Palace, will not kneel to you of the Holy Dragon Palace, and you dare not kill me...”

”Kill me, and the Long Night Heavenly Dao Palace will hunt you to the ends of the earth, no one can protect you.”

Her voice was almost squeezed from gritted teeth, filled with towering rage.

”Is that so? Well, I do want to try killing.” Sikong Jing sneered, coming closer to Shui Yuyin once again.

”No, don’t!”

In an instant, the masters of the Shui Family rushed out to shield Shui Yuyin.

The aforementioned elder fixed his gaze on Sikong Jing and said, ”Holy Dragon Palace apprentice, you have already killed our Family Head, isn’t it time to stop?”

”Yes, it’s just about the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core, is it necessary to provoke a war between two palaces?”

”Right, by killing Shui Yuyin, aren’t you afraid of completely offending the Heavenly Dao Palace to death?”

A group of Shui Family experts were advising with fear, genuinely afraid that Sikong Jing would kill Shui Yuyin. Now that the Family Head had died, but as long as Shui Yuyin was alive, the Shui Family had a chance to revive.

On the contrary, their Shui Family would be completely devoured by the guests present.

”Hahaha...”

”Against Senior Sister Baili, you think you can just kill whomever you want? And now you talk to me about a war between two palaces?”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing burst into laughter, then coldly said, ”Your Heavenly Dao Palace isn’t afraid of offending our Holy Dragon Palace, so why should I be afraid of offending your Heavenly Dao Palace? We are all among the Three Great Academies, who fears whom?”

At this point, Sikong Jing emanated the demonic power of Little An throughout his body, pressing towards the people of the Shui Family, while the sword light pointed at Shui Yuyin again.

”Kneel, or die!”

These few harsh words slammed into Shui Yuyin’s mind, and she finally couldn’t withstand the pressure and knelt down with a thud...

She knew she would surely die if she didn’t kneel; Sikong Jing was too lawless.

”Apologize,” Sikong Jing bellowed violently.

Shui Yuyin gritted her teeth and finally said, ”I’m sorry, Baili Que, I shouldn’t have taken your Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core.”

As she finished speaking, she almost collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed by humiliation.

Then, Sikong Jing slowly sheathed his sword and coldly said, ”Go back and tell the people of your Long Night Heavenly Dao Palace that Ma Daoming and He Jia are currently guests at our Holy Dragon Palace... and also, don’t be too arrogant.”

As his words fell, Sikong Jing looked to Baili Que and Yisuo and said directly, ”Let’s go!”

The three of them and three dragons rose high into the sky and vanished in an instant above the Shui Family Manor, leaving behind only a field of corpses and bloodied water.

Of course, they also left endless humiliation for the students of the Heavenly Dao Palace.

Not until the three men and three dragons disappeared did Shui Yuyin rise to her feet, her chest feeling like it was about to explode.

”Quick, notify the Long Night Heavenly Dao Palace, pursue and kill these three people.”

”They must be eliminated before they reach the Holy Dragon Palace. Ahhhh!”

As soon as Shui Yuyin finished speaking, a Heavenly Dao Palace student relayed the message back to the Heavenly Dao Palace...

Meanwhile, guests at the Shui Family also began to depart one after another.

In their minds, they kept recalling the scene of Sikong Jing and the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle slaughtering Shui Bingqu, whispering the name ”Sikong Jing”... such a formidable and terrifying student from the Holy Dragon Palace, why had they never heard of him before?

Outside the Shui Family, the guards from Wanbao Pavilion also gradually retreated, heading back to Wanbao Pavilion.

Equally shocked, they didn’t know how powerful Second Young Master Lang was now, but this Junior Brother Sikong was terrifyingly fierce.

...

Outside Wentian City, Sikong Jing and the two others riding three dragons galloped towards the direction of Long Night Imperial City.

At that moment, Yisuo excitedly and then worriedly asked, ”Junior Brother Sikong, we’re using the Innate Treasure to speed up, won’t the Heavenly Dao Palace send experts to chase us down?”

Hearing this, Sikong Jing smiled lightly, confidently saying, ”They won’t.”

”If we die, Ma Daoming and He Jia, along with others, will all die in the Holy Dragon Palace. The Heavenly Dao Palace wouldn’t dare to chase us.”

Upon hearing this, Yisuo finally understood why Sikong Jing had mentioned Ma Daoming and He Jia at the end.

It was actually a threat to the Heavenly Dao Palace.

”I didn’t kill Shui Yuyin to leave a bit of face for the Heavenly Dao Palace, giving them a way out,” Sikong Jing chuckled and said, ”Now, all we need to do is to calmly head back to Long Night Imperial City.”

Aboard the Thunder Winged Dragon Snake, Baili Que absentmindedly gazed at Sikong Jing, and for a moment, felt bewildered and incredulous.

Last time she saw Sikong Jing, he was just a little apprentice of the Innate Five Realms, but now, he was likely the number one student of the Holy Dragon Palace, acting so calm and bold.

If Shui Yuyin had been killed, the Heavenly Dao Palace would have inevitably launched a furious pursuit, even though they knew Ma Daoming was destined to die.

But with Shui Yuyin alive, the Heavenly Dao Palace had been given an out, forcing them to swallow their pride.
