Berserk God of War

54: Chapter 054: The Reason for Staying at Su Residence 54: Chapter 054: The Reason for Staying at Su Residence Regarding this question, Sikong Jing was also very puzzled.

Previously, Su Zhenglong’s condition should have been very poor, but although he had not fully recovered yet, his condition was several times better than when Sikong Jing first saw him.

When he discovered that he had suddenly become conscious, Sikong Jing was also very surprised.

“It seems a lot better, I also don’t know why it would be like this.”

Su Zhenglong also couldn’t understand.

He thought this time he really would not wake up.

Suddenly, Mei Xiaofang’s trembling voice arose, “It’s Yue Xian, she’s back, she gave you a Spirit Pill.”

Whoom!

Su Zhenglong’s body was like struck by lightning, incredulously looking at Mei Xiaofang, his hands excitedly gripping her shoulders.

“Yue Xian is back, you saw her, she gave me medicine…

she doesn’t hate me anymore?”

He was speaking incoherently, Su Zhenglong didn’t even know what he was saying.

However, Mei Xiaofang cried out in reply, “I didn’t see her, but my intuition tells me, Yue Xian came back.”

One sentence left Sikong Jing and the equally excited Su Yuexi giving each other looks, it was just intuition after all.

Su Zhenglong’s entire body stiffened, his face instantly darkened once more, appearing as if he had lost his soul again.

How could intuition be so accurate?

“Don’t disbelieve it, if it wasn’t for Yue Xian returning, how could you possibly have woken up?”

With Mei Xiaofang’s words, Su Zhenglong’s whole body shook again.

At that moment, Sikong Jing quickly walked forward to check his pulse, then a flash of light sparkled in his eyes, “Father-in-law, you must have taken some elixir, your body still has traces of medicinal essence.”

Su Zhenglong opened his mouth wide, his facial expressions continuously changing, could it really be that Yue Xian came back.

Besides her, who else would administer medicine to him?

“If it really was Yue Xian, then she must still hold some resentment against me, otherwise why wouldn’t she meet us?” Su Zhenglong murmured.

Mei Xiaofang couldn’t stop crying again, cursing, “It’s all your fault, she doesn’t even recognize her own mother anymore.”

Meanwhile, Su Yuexi also appeared sorrowful, perhaps her sister also resented her.

Seeing this situation, Sikong Jing gently said, “Don’t think too much now; those who should meet, will definitely meet.”

“Father-in-law, we better not stay at the Su Residence anymore, Su Xuefeng and the others coming over to cause trouble is not an ideal situation.”

What just happened was a lesson for Sikong Jing, he couldn’t protect Su Yuexi at his side at any given moment.

If something were to happen, it would be regretful beyond measure.

However, his suggestion instantly made Mei Xiaofang explode, “No, we must stay here.”

Sikong Jing froze, puzzled.

He had long been wondering, since the people from the Su family treated them this way, why didn’t they move out?

Especially after deducting the customary money, why hadn’t they left?

At this moment, Su Yuexi’s faint voice arose.

“Because of sister…”

“If we left, what if sister came back and couldn’t find us?

Maybe she would look for us, but maybe she wouldn’t?”

“These are the reasons Father and Mother have always been unwilling to leave the Su Residence.”

Sikong Jing remained silent upon hearing this, the reason made him unable to refute, and he could no longer speak of moving out.

Perhaps finding them after moving wouldn’t be hard, but as parents, they were very afraid, afraid that Su Yue Immortal would just come to take a glance, and worried that Su Yue Immortal, who resented them, wouldn’t try hard to look for them.

He stayed, only for that slight, perhaps intangible wait.

At this moment, Su Zhenglong finally recovered from his emotions and spoke in a deep voice, “Ajing, the biggest problem now is that you have hidden the treasures of the Fierce Beast Bandits.”

As the words fell, Mei Xiaofang also shuddered violently, staring at Sikong Jing, “Yes, this is troublesome.”

Sikong Jing widened his eyes, even they thought that his possessions had come from the Fierce Beast Bandits?

“Brother Jing, Grandpa is forcing you to hand over the Green Jade Paper, or else he will complain to General Chou Ye, what should we do?”

A worried look reappeared on Su Yuexi’s face.

Two Green Jade Stone Plates were given as birthday gifts that many people saw; it was impossible to hide.

“How about we drag it out until the day before Yue Xi’s selection, then you can find the worst Green Jade Paper to deal with Su Xuefeng just to pacify him for the moment,” Mei Xiaofang suggested.

Looking at the three anxious people, Sikong Jing smiled and replied, “Don’t worry, this isn’t from the Fierce Beast Bandits.”

“Hmm?”

All three were stunned, and Mei Xiaofang asked subconsciously, “Then where did these treasures come from?”

Sikong Jing took a deep breath, his expression serious as he replied, “Actually, both the Green Jade Stone Plates and the Green Jade Paper were inscribed by myself and are unrelated to anyone else.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Su Zhenglong and the others were all dumbfounded.

“The reason why I had Yue Xi participate in the selection seven days later is because I can inscribe the most suitable Cultivation Technique and Martial Skill for Yue Xi on these three pieces of Green Jade Paper.”

With that, Sikong Jing shook the Green Jade Paper in his hand.

However, the courtyard still remained eerily silent.

Mei Xiaofang suddenly rubbed her aching head, “Although my martial arts are mediocre, I also come from a Martial Arts Family and am not without insight.”

Sikong Jing held the paper still, his mouth agape, I’ve spoken so earnestly, and you still don’t believe it?

“Ajing, it’s better to keep your feet on the ground,”

Su Zhenglong said solemnly, “Even if you are a genius who can overcome Dark Realm’s Su Shan, speaking such unrealistic words will only make you a laughing stock, which is undesirable.”

With the corners of his mouth twitching, Sikong Jing was in disarray on the spot.

At that moment, Su Zhenglong walked over, patted his shoulder, “We’re not blaming you, we all know you are a good kid and that you’re looking for excuses to avoid being accused, but really, no one believes this.”

After speaking, Su Zhenglong pulled Mei Xiaofang along, “We’re going inside, let Yue Xi and Ajing have a good talk.”

Sikong Jing, after all, cared about saving face, and having his lie exposed like this must have been hard for him, so they didn’t stay around.

Watching the back of Su Zhenglong filled with elder’s concern, Sikong Jing really felt helpless.

I’m telling the truth!

Sikong Jing glanced subconsciously at Su Yuexi beside him, who blinked hard, emphasizing firmly, “I believe you.”

At those words, Sikong Jing smiled.

Even though there was an indescribable flicker in Su Yuexi’s eyes, the way she tried to make up her mind to believe him was really adorable, which made Sikong Jing irresistibly pull her into a hug.

“It’s okay, it’s normal for them to have these doubts.”

“Now let’s go back to the room, you can start your official Cultivation soon.”

Taking Su Yuexi’s hand, the two returned to their room.

Then, Sikong Jing handed over the Green Jade Paper inscribed with the Xuanbing Jade Girl Technique and let Su Yuexi begin comprehending Cultivation, while he provided guidance on the side.

In the hall, Mei Xiaofang asked, “Master, Sikong Jing is quite nice, but why does he always like to exaggerate?”

“He doesn’t even consider whether the poor quality Green Jade Stone Plate is something a normal person could inscribe?

Even if he got lucky inscribing it, he doesn’t think about the fact that it also contains Transcendent Martial Intent, it’s simply boastful without any proof.”
