Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1639: Chapter 612: Sharing a Room with Song Yunshan and the Others (Extended Chapter)

”Classmate Shangguan Yue, that’s not right at all. You’ve gone way overboard with this—no matter where we went tonight, there’s no way we’d be able to eat such a lavish meal.”

Hu Ling chimed in, ”Exactly, Yueyue, your cooking is really something. This food smells amazing. We’re seriously so grateful!”

Even Song Yunshan nodded with open admiration on her face.

”You’re all too kind. All right, please enjoy. If you need anything, just call me, I’ll be downstairs.”

”Okay, thanks!”

”Please don’t be so formal, any of you.”

Once Shangguan Yue and the others went downstairs, Zhang Jingdong and his group took their seats and started digging in.

Hu Ling tasted a piece of cured pork, then exclaimed, ”This cured pork is so good, I think it’s even better than what we get in restaurants!”

Zhang Jingdong nodded in agreement. ”First, the cured pork itself is good, and second, that little sister’s cooking skills really are solid!”

Song Yunshan spoke up then, ”This peppercorn chicken is great too.”

Zhang Jingdong immediately played along and picked up a piece, popping it into his mouth.

”Mm, yeah, this is legit!”

Ten minutes or so later, they finished eating.

To show their appreciation for Chef Shangguan Yue, Zhang Jingdong and Liu Yang wiped out all the dishes, even finished off the corn soup.

Then Song Yunshan gathered up the plates, bowls, and chopsticks on the table, intending to carry them down.

Zhang Jingdong reached out. ”Let me. The lighting by the stairs is a bit dim.”

With that, he directly took everything from Song Yunshan’s hands and headed downstairs.

Song Yunshan watched his back as he left, and the corners of her lips quietly curled into a slightly enigmatic smile.

When Shangguan Yue saw that Zhang Jingdong had brought the dishes down himself, she hurried over to meet him.

”Why did you bring these down? You could’ve just called me!”

Zhang Jingdong said straight out, ”My hands are full already. Where’s the kitchen? I’ll just take them over directly.”

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong wasn’t about to let go, Shangguan Yue had no choice but to say, ”Come with me then.”

She finished speaking and led Zhang Jingdong to the kitchen.

”You can just put them here.”

”Mm.”

As he spoke, Zhang Jingdong set everything down where she pointed.

He casually washed his hands, then said, ”From now on, skip all that ’you’ and ’sir’ stuff. We’re basically friends now, let’s just talk like equals. Oh right, I forgot to tell you—my name’s Zhang Jingdong.”

Something stirred in Shangguan Yue’s heart. ”...Mm.”

”You’ve had a long day too. Get some rest early. See you tomorrow!”

”...Okay, see you tomorrow.”

Zhang Jingdong gave her a long look, then turned and walked out of the kitchen.

To be honest, even though Shangguan Yue wasn’t one of his target people, Zhang Jingdong still felt she was a really great girl.

Not only did she look good and have a fantastic figure, most importantly, she was exactly the type of responsible big sister from the countryside that Zhang Jingdong admired most.

Given her current age, her outward conditions, plus her emotional intelligence and IQ, she could absolutely be doing very well somewhere out there.

But she chose to stay in her hometown, doing the hardest work, and taking care of her younger siblings and her mom.

A lot of people would probably think she’s foolish, but Zhang Jingdong understood her toughness and selflessness.

So he quietly decided he had to find a way to really help her out.

...

Back upstairs, everyone went back to their rooms to rest for a bit.

Zhang Jingdong texted his mom to say he wouldn’t be coming home to sleep tonight, then went ”one vs eight,” chatting with Yan Ning and the others all at once.

Nothing he could do—this light-speed hand was trained in his previous life; one-on-eight was a piece of cake.

Close to ten o’clock, just as he was about to reply to Xiao Fei’s message, Hu Ling suddenly sent a text: You didn’t fall asleep, did you?

Zhang Jingdong replied directly: I thought you two had already fallen asleep.

Hu Ling: Neither of us slept. Didn’t you say you were teaching us some self-defense moves tonight? We’ve been waiting for you to call us.

Zhang Jingdong: Then come to my room now.

Hu Ling: Okay.

Zhang Jingdong promptly got off the bed, pulled the other bed over to his, pushed them together, and cleared out a seven or eight square meter space.

Just then, there was a knock at the door from outside.

Zhang Jingdong called out casually, ”Come in!”

As soon as the words left his mouth, the door opened, and Hu Ling and Song Yunshan swept in, all dolled up.

Because they’d both broken a sweat climbing the mountain today, the two of them had washed up briefly and changed into fresh clothes.

Right now, Hu Ling was wearing a white Adidas short-sleeve top with matching shorts, showing off her lotus-like arms and a pair of long, straight jade legs.

Gotta admit, this older sister’s figure really was excellent.

Song Yunshan was a bit more conservative: a pink short-sleeve top on the upper half, black long pants on the lower half.

But since she was a bit taller than Hu Ling, her jade legs were even longer.

And her short-sleeve top was somewhat tight, which showed off her upper body to the greatest advantage.

The most direct impression Zhang Jingdong had was that her shoulders and neck looked even better than Liu Shishi’s.

Tsk tsk, you really have to say, when total scores are about the same, truly great posture and bearing can give a woman a ton of extra points.

Song Yunshan caught the heat in Zhang Jingdong’s gaze, and a faint blush immediately spread across her face.

Noticing this, a hint of mischief flashed through Hu Ling’s eyes.

She’d deliberately dressed like this tonight.

She wanted to seduce Zhang Jingdong and make him reveal his true colors as a lech.

Just now, out of curiosity, she’d asked some friends from her club to check with their buddies in the Jiangdu racing club about Zhang Jingdong’s situation.

She’d originally only asked casually, with zero expectations, since she had no idea what kind of status Zhang Jingdong actually had in Jiangdu.

But she didn’t know until she asked; once she did, it scared her. They told her that Zhang Jingdong was currently the most famous big boss in Jiangdu—and that he was even the boss of their racing club’s president.
