Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1616: Chapter 604: A Beautiful Love Begins with a Hug! (Long Chapter)

Zhang Lihua was completely unprepared for this guy to make another request just as he had taken advantage of her.

Zhang Jingdong noticed her slight pout, and feigned surprise, saying, ”Hmm? Zhang Lihua, you need to understand that the question you just asked me isn’t an ordinary one. If anyone else asked me, I would never reveal my true thoughts.”

Zhang Lihua was indignant but had no choice, as Zhang Jingdong’s words did make sense.

So she let out a quiet sigh and said, ”...Okay, tell me, what do you want me to do?”

Seeing her agree, Zhang Jingdong casually glanced around before looking back at her, ”My request is simple, just give me a friendship hug.”

”A hug!?” Zhang Lihua’s defenses broke instantly, ”You... you’re too much!”

Zhang Jingdong stared at her intensely, deliberately pausing for a dozen seconds before saying, ”It’s just a friendship hug, is this request really too much?”

”We’re at least friends now, right? This... this seems normal, doesn’t it?”

Zhang Jingdong intentionally paused for a few seconds again before continuing, ”Plus, you already agreed to it earlier; you... you’re not going to go back on your word, are you?”

”You...”

Zhang Jingdong sighed in slight disappointment, ”Okay then, if you really can’t accept it, just forget it. After all, you’re the woman I cherish the most, so you’ll always have special privileges with me, let’s go!”

He turned and was about to get into the car.

Zhang Lihua saw he was really going to leave and hurriedly said, ”...Wait a minute!”

Upon hearing this, Zhang Jingdong immediately stopped and slowly turned back, ”What’s wrong?”

”I... I can do it... but don’t get me wrong, I just want to show you that I’m someone who keeps her word.”

Zhang Jingdong felt pleased internally, ”I know, and my request doesn’t have any other intentions. I actually wanted to test if you are truly someone who keeps promises.”

”Besides, like I said before, my request isn’t excessive, it’s just a symbolic friendship hug.”

Saying this, he turned back and approached Zhang Lihua, intending to hug her directly.

Zhang Lihua quickly said, ”Wait!”

”Hmm? What’s the matter, regretting again?”

”No, I... I just want to say don’t hold me as you did with the handshake earlier?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded with a smile, ”No problem, a hug is definitely different from a handshake, I won’t be as presumptuous as earlier.”

”How about this, once we’re hugging, you start counting, and when you reach thirty, I’ll release you right away, how does that sound?”

”Thirty? No way, that’s too long, fifteen at most!”

Zhang Jingdong said playfully, ”Thirty is already a concession; I originally intended to say sixty.”

”Fifteen seems a bit too short, right? Plus, if you deliberately count quickly, I might end up hugging you for less than five seconds, which is basically nothing.”

”Hey... how can that be nothing? Do you want a hug or not?”

Zhang Jingdong feigned a bit of helplessness, ”Okay, let’s compromise, you count to twenty. I’m being really sincere here, and I promise this time I’ll definitely let go on time, deal?”

Zhang Lihua seriously observed Zhang Jingdong’s eyes, feeling somewhat shy yet helpless, she nodded, ”...Alright, I’ll believe you one more time.”

Zhang Jingdong suppressed a laugh, ”Then I’ll hug now... do you need to prepare a bit?”

”...You... go ahead.”

Then Zhang Jingdong exaggeratedly opened his arms wide and leaned in to tightly hug her.

”Congratulations Host, you’ve successfully hugged the target person, rewarded 100,000 yuan!”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong felt as if he was embracing the world.

After all, the person involved is the one who initiated him in this aspect, so even though it seemed like a simple hug, Zhang Jingdong’s joy inside was no less than being with another woman.

And perhaps because it was her first time being hugged by the opposite gender in such a manner, Zhang Lihua’s mind went blank for a moment.

It took her a good three to four seconds to finally remember the counting, and she started reluctantly, ”One... two...”

As she counted, Zhang Jingdong held her tighter.

Though Zhang Lihua might have felt breathless from Zhang Jingdong’s embrace or sensed his particular emotions, or maybe for other reasons, her counting speed didn’t increase but seemed to slow down.

Sometimes, a moment can last forever.

When certain things happen, they might open a floodgate, and many things could consequently change.

Then, without realizing it, they both forgot everything around them and fully immersed themselves in the hug.

As both had top-tier physiques for men and women, coupled with such an intimate hug, and with a beautiful red BMW parked nearby, people around stopped in their tracks, curiously and envyingly watching them.

Among them was a middle-aged woman in a white dress who, upon seeing the red BMW, angrily walked up front.

She loudly declared, ”Oh, isn’t this Lihua Restaurant’s owner Zhang Lihua, who tried to seduce my husband? What now, couldn’t get my husband so you’re going after a rich kid?”

With these words, people immediately started whispering to each other.

At that moment, Zhang Lihua instinctively stepped back, ending the hug with Zhang Jingdong.

Interrupted during such a joyful moment, Zhang Jingdong turned to the woman with a broad smile.
