Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1621: Chapter 606: She Actually Stole a Kiss from Me! (Bonus Chapter)

Zhang Jingdong realized she wasn’t joking, so he said, ”...Alright, then I’ll showcase some acting skills later.”

”So now we need to hurry up and rehearse our lines, let’s go!”

Zhang Lihua immediately nodded: ”Yes, let’s go!”

The two of them then went into the shop together.

Zhang Lihua, pretending to be calm, said a few words to the manager Xu Jiali, then led Zhang Jingdong to the second floor, to her office.

On their way to the stairs, almost all the customers in the shop were looking at them.

And the eyes of the male customers were filled with envy and jealousy.

Many of them even started imagining what they were going to do on the second floor.

Damn, it’s broad daylight, and Zhang Lihua is so beautiful... This guy is really lucky!

The second floor must be Zhang Lihua’s office, tsk tsk, they must be going there for ’that’, this guy really knows how to play, planning on... in her office.

Just thinking about it is so damn nice!

Zhang Lihua’s office isn’t very big, just over ten square meters.

A set of office desk and chair, a computer, a single sofa, and a small tea table.

Zhang Jingdong took a quick tour and then said, ”Tsk tsk, quite refined... Do you like drinking tea?”

Zhang Lihua nodded: ”Sometimes during the day when I’m not feeling very energetic, I have a couple of cups to boost myself.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded, then sat down on the boss chair inside the office desk.

Although Zhang Lihua was still somewhat unaccustomed to him being her boyfriend, she did not stop him.

Zhang Jingdong then patted his leg: ”Come, have a seat.”

Zhang Lihua immediately glared at him: ”...No need, I’ll sit here.”

She said and was about to sit on the chair outside the desk.

Zhang Jingdong beckoned to her: ”Come on, what couple sits separately just after confirming their relationship?”

”You...” Zhang Lihua’s face instantly turned red with embarrassment: ”You already sneakily kissed me downstairs, you can’t be too greedy!”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”But we’ve already established our relationship, what does it matter? Our priority now is to enjoy our relationship and manage our connection well.”

Zhang Lihua felt conflicted.

On one hand, she felt his words made sense, but on the other hand, she was indeed a bit bashful now.

She hesitated for a moment, then said, ”...Let’s quickly talk about business first, don’t keep thinking about those other things.”

Seeing her nervousness, knowing she hadn’t fully adapted yet, Zhang Jingdong said, ”...Alright, let’s talk business first.”

For the next half hour, they first discussed the specific details of the mall project, then talked about opening a branch and how to arrange for his parents.

After finishing the business talk, Zhang Jingdong checked his cellphone, saw his mom hadn’t called or texted, guessing they hadn’t finished on their side.

Then he said, ”Alright, business is done, it’s time to talk about love, isn’t it?”

During the business talk earlier, Zhang Lihua also took the chance to ponder her matter with Zhang Jingdong.

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong was trying to take advantage of her again, she said, ”But aren’t you forgetting, we just preliminarily confirmed our relationship, not officially yet.”

”The thing is, it’s our first meeting after so many years. Although I’ve confirmed you’re him, and... and confirmed I like you, I might still need some time to adapt.”

Zhang Jingdong looked deeply at her and then said, ”...Okay, I understand.”

Zhang Lihua paused, hesitated, ”Are you... angry?”

”Why would I be angry? It’s normal, and I did rush a bit earlier, but you have to understand.”

”After years apart, you’re still so beautiful, with a great figure, and I’m young and active, so it’s hard to hold back sometimes.”

Zhang Lihua bit the corner of her lip: ”...Alright.”

Zhang Jingdong then adjusted his sitting posture and said, ”When you meet my parents later, there’s no need to be nervous, they’re very easy to get along with.”

”And I’m sure when they start working in the shop, you’ll get along harmoniously.”

”At that time, I might not come back that often, so I’ll need your help to take care of them.”

Zhang Lihua sensed something and nodded: ”Alright, don’t worry, I’ll definitely do it.”

Zhang Jingdong casually picked up a pink thermos cup from the table, hinting meaningfully, ”This is actually a great opportunity, I’m confident after long-term interaction, you’ll really recognize each other, and many things will become easier.”

Immediately, Zhang Lihua understood why Zhang Jingdong insisted on having his parents work at the shop: to gradually build a good relationship and have them accept her.

Her heart warmed instantly, looking at Zhang Jingdong with excitement in her eyes.

Seeing this, Zhang Jingdong continued to fuel her enthusiasm: ”You don’t need any pressure, rest assured, even if they disagree in the end, I’ll absolutely be with you.”

”After all, I’ve liked you for so many years, if I can’t be with you, no matter how great my achievements, my life will be incomplete!”

Zhang Lihua was completely moved by these words.
