Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1620: Chapter 606: She Actually Forced a Kiss on Him! (Major Chapter, Please Subscribe)

Zhang Lihua never expected Zhang Jingdong would dare to kiss her at the restaurant entrance, and her face instantly turned completely red with embarrassment.

”You... are you crazy? You’re really too bad!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged with a smile: ”Anyway, when I held your hand just now, they definitely saw it too. We might as well make an official announcement once and for all.”

”This way, your staff and the customers won’t have to gossip anymore, and you won’t have to face those messy suitors — two birds with one stone!”

Upon hearing this, Zhang Lihua, although still somewhat indignant on the surface, actually felt he had a point.

And by this time it was already past eleven, and there were quite a few guests in the restaurant.

A lot of them saw this scene and immediately started gossiping.

”Damn, the beauty boss of this restaurant is actually taken, who the heck is that guy?”

”I think that guy probably isn’t her boyfriend, right? He looks like a college student, maybe he’s her brother?”

”Nonsense, you’d be that intimate with your sister?”

”That guy is simply outrageous! Damn it, I’ve been chasing Zhang Lihua for so long without success, and he just swooped in!”

”Brother Dao, be careful, that guy looks like a rich kid, let’s investigate before we say anything.”

Many of the staff in the restaurant also saw the scene, and having seen Zhang Jingdong get into their boss’s car earlier, and their boss driving him away, they were sure their boss must be taken.

Although they felt somewhat uncomfortable about it, as their boss had been single for so many years, they quickly were filled with curiosity about Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Lihua, now facing away from the restaurant door, exclaimed shyly and coyly: ”How am I supposed to go in now?”

Zhang Jingdong stated seriously: ”Actually, you only need to confirm two points now. First, do you like me?”

Before Zhang Lihua could answer, Zhang Jingdong continued: ”You’ve already answered this question just now, then the second point, do you think I’m presentable as your boyfriend?”

”That shouldn’t be an issue, right? After all, you previously said I was handsome and good at business, so you definitely think I’m presentable... right?”

Saying that, he directly put his right hand around Zhang Lihua’s fragrant shoulder: ”If you dare to deny it, I’ll kiss you right now.”

Zhang Lihua was carried away with anger and amusement: ”Hey... do you have to be like this? After what you just said, how am I supposed to answer?”

”Alright, then just tell the truth, okay? If you think I’m presentable, let’s go in now, if you don’t think so, I’ll leave right now. You decide?”

Zhang Lihua hesitated slightly and then said: ”...Okay, let’s go in.”

Zhang Jingdong was delighted inside, but said aloud: ”Come on... so you’re just avoiding getting kissed?”

”You...” Zhang Lihua rolled her eyes at Zhang Jingdong: ”You’re really annoying! I’m not talking to you anymore!”

Saying that, she turned around to leave.

Zhang Jingdong quickly put his arm around her shoulder: ”Alright, alright... I was wrong, I was wrong, just joking, don’t be angry!”

”Who jokes like that?”

Zhang Jingdong laughed: ”It’s our first time dating, we need to adapt to each other, and joking’s limits are a part of it.”

”Now I’ve roughly figured out your acceptable limits, I’ll make sure I don’t cross them in the future.”

Zhang Lihua was still a bit shy and annoyed, but perhaps the line, ”It’s our first time dating,” touched her heart, so she stopped struggling.

Seeing that, Zhang Jingdong immediately said: ”Let’s go, let’s go... Besides discussing business matters, we need to rehearse our lines.”

”Lines?” Zhang Lihua was instantly a bit confused: ”What lines?”

”Didn’t I mention my parents would come to work at the shop before? They resigned from the factory this morning; they’re coming here for lunch and to discuss their future work at the restaurant.”

Zhang Lihua instantly forgot about her previous embarrassment, showing some difficulty on her face: ”Isn’t this too fast? They’re coming today?”

Zhang Jingdong, having successfully diverted her attention, promptly said: ”Yes, but don’t worry, we’re just having a simple discussion about their work today; they won’t start working today.”

”They’ve worked hard for so many years, I definitely want them to rest for a while before starting work, so you’re in no rush to arrange their schedule.”

”However, we need to have lunch together when they arrive, so we have to rehearse our lines first to avoid any slip-ups.”

”You’re not planning to tell them about our relationship now, are you?”

Zhang Jingdong teased her intentionally: ”We’ve already confirmed our relationship, my parents know me so well, even if I don’t tell them, they would notice something’s up, so why not be upfront and tell them?”

”...No way, I... we really moved too quickly, I’m not mentally prepared for this, and... your parents definitely won’t agree to us being together, I’m much older than you!”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”What’s that about, ’a woman three years older is a treasure,’ I’ve got multiple treasures here, it’s a clear win for me, isn’t it?”

”No... Zhang Lihua bit her lip then practically pleaded: ”You... you promised me before you wouldn’t marry in this county... I don’t want your parents to know about us now, I’m really still not mentally prepared.”
