Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1608: Chapter 602: The Love from Back Then Has Matured! (Super Chapter)

A lot of boys who grew up in small county towns probably all had a similar experience when they were kids: on a Sunny Days–kind of afternoon, they’d suddenly run into a stunning beauty on the street, like she’d just walked out of the TV.

Like how in Sunny Days, Ma Xiaojun suddenly runs into Milan on the street, and how in The Legend of Sicily’s Beauty, Renado suddenly meets Marina on the street.

These women were their enlightenment in that regard, and also the ones who made the word ”beauty” concrete in their hearts.

They also shared some common traits: they were all very good-looking, and dressed more fashionably than the other women around them.

Most importantly, their figures were all extremely sexy, making the boys feel that kind of impulse for the first time.

And in Zhang Jingdong’s life, that woman was the owner of Lihua Restaurant, Zhang Lihua.

He vaguely remembered that it was when he was 12, in fourth grade at primary school, and he’d just learned how to ride a bicycle.

That day he and a few classmates were riding their bikes aimlessly around the main street; when they passed Lihua Restaurant, they saw from a distance that a red sedan was parked at the entrance.

Back then, sedans were still very rare in their county town, so they all stopped to admire the car.

And then came a scene that Zhang Jingdong still remembers crystal clear to this day!

He saw the car door slowly open, and first a perfect, fair leg in black high heels stretched out.

Then a tall beauty in a red dress stepped out in all her glory and entered their field of vision.

In that moment, Zhang Jingdong felt like his heart almost stopped beating!

He stared at her wide-eyed, gaze burning.

No bullshit, even though he was only 12 at the time, he really did want to do that with her.

And back then he hadn’t even seen Sunny Days or The Legend of Sicily’s Beauty yet, but he did the exact same thing as Ma Xiaojun and Renado—he started following her.

That summer, for a long stretch of time, he practically went to Lihua Restaurant every day.

If he saw that red car, he would silently wait in the distance for Zhang Lihua to come out, then secretly follow her car all the way until she got home.

And if he didn’t see that car, he’d ride his bike through every street and alley in the county town, frantically searching for it.

Later, one time when he was following her car to see her home, he was so focused on watching her car that he didn’t pay attention to his surroundings and got slammed into by another bike speeding past.

There was no surveillance on the road back then, so the guy who hit him didn’t even get off, just rode off right after crashing into him.

And since he had been thrown straight off his bike, his bones were fine, but the skin on his arms and legs was badly scraped.

He was in so much pain he was about to cry.

Right at that moment, Zhang Lihua somehow had turned her car around and come back, suddenly appearing in front of him.

She even spoke gently to him: ”Does it hurt? I’ll take you to the hospital.”

Zhang Jingdong was instantly stunned, and then a huge wave of happiness washed over him.

Even now he could barely remember how exactly Zhang Lihua took him to the hospital, or how she got him to the gate of their housing compound.

He only remembered her telling him, ”You’re not allowed to follow me anymore, it’s too dangerous!”

Then he mustered up his courage and said, ”I... I just want to be able to see you often.”

Zhang Lihua: ”How old are you this year?”

Zhang Jingdong: ”Twelve.”

Zhang Lihua: ”How about this: when you’re eighteen, if you still want to see me often, then come find me again.”

Zhang Jingdong: ”...Okay.”

After that day, Zhang Jingdong never went to look for Zhang Lihua again.

And in the year he turned eighteen, because he had to prepare for the college entrance exam, and because he’d learned what Zhang Lihua’s status actually meant, Zhang Jingdong had no idea how to face her, so he didn’t go to her.

But those sunny days when he chased after her every day stayed with him; whenever he thought about it, he’d feel a bit ashamed, but at the same time that long-lost heat would surge up in his chest.

Now, reborn into this life, he was no longer the ordinary guy from his last life, and he was only nineteen this year—barely a year past the eighteen-year-old promise he’d had with her.

Besides, his current achievements could serve as his excuse for not going to her that year.

So buying her Lihua Restaurant, aside from wanting to find something for his parents to do, was also actually to create a chance to meet her again.

Through the glass window, Zhang Jingdong looked out at the road in the distance. From time to time he saw a few boys of ten or so riding bicycles past, and the corners of his mouth would curl into a genuine smile.

After about twenty minutes, a red sedan suddenly appeared in his field of vision.

His heart instantly skipped a beat.

But when it got closer, he saw that it wasn’t the Xiali from his memory, but a BMW.

Yet his intuition told him that the person in that car had to be Zhang Lihua.

Soon, the red BMW slowly stopped at the restaurant entrance, and sure enough, the person who stepped out was actually Zhang Lihua!

And as luck would have it, she was still wearing a red dress today, with a pair of black high heels on her feet!

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help grinning: She’s back! It’s all back! My very first dream Lover!

Zhang Lihua walked into the restaurant, said a few words to the manager from earlier, then headed in Zhang Jingdong’s direction.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong was sitting with his back to her.

Judging from the sound of her footsteps that she was about three or four meters away, Zhang Jingdong suddenly stood up, then spun around neatly and looked at Zhang Lihua.
