When Zhang Jingdong arrived downstairs at Lihua Restaurant, his parents also came over.

It was almost 12 o’clock, and people were flocking to the restaurant.

Chen Huiqin said with a sigh of relief, ”Son, did you really negotiate with the boss here? The business is so good, are they really willing to transfer it to us?”

Zhang Huaimin couldn’t help but add, ”If they are willing to transfer, the price must be very high, right? Son, we should still be cautious.”

Zhang Jingdong knew what they were worried about, so he immediately replied, ”Don’t worry, I didn’t discuss a transfer with the owner but instead buying a portion of the shares, and then we’ll jointly operate it.”

”This way, we don’t have to worry about the future management of this restaurant, we’ll receive dividends every year, solve your job issues, and you can eat here every day. It’s a win-win situation. What do you think? Did your son handle this brilliantly?”

Upon hearing this, both Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin felt relieved instantly.

”Absolutely... this way, we won’t feel as much pressure, and we’ve all met our objectives.”

”Our son is really clever, it’s a win-win-win-win!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and nodded, ”Let’s go up. Boss Zhang is waiting for us.”

Then the family of three entered the restaurant and went upstairs.

Along the way to the staircase, the people who had just seen Zhang Jingdong and Zhang Lihua going upstairs together were once again surprised.

What the... what’s happening? Is this a meeting the parents kind of situation?

So they aren’t just dating, but they’re at the stage of discussing marriage? Seriously... wow!

Zhang Jingdong and his family went upstairs and arrived at Room 6.

Zhang Lihua was already waiting in the room. Seeing Zhang Jingdong bringing his parents, she was shy, nervous, but tried to stay cool as she greeted them.

But just as she was about to say hello, she suddenly didn’t know how to address Zhang Jingdong’s parents.

Zhang Jingdong noticed this and immediately said, ”Mr. Zhang, since we’re this familiar, just call my parents Uncle and Auntie.”

Zhang Lihua instantly got the hint and, both shy and happy, said, ”Hello, Uncle! Hello, Auntie!”

Chen Huiqin was 45 years old, and Zhang Huaimin was 46. They had heard about the beautiful boss Zhang Lihua before and knew she was already over 30, so they were a little surprised to hear this.

But since she was someone of high standing in the county, they couldn’t really comment, so they just nodded.

”Hello, Boss Zhang. You’re quite a famous figure in our county!”

”Auntie, you’re too kind. Compared to your son, I’m still far behind!”

She then quietly gave Zhang Jingdong a look.

Chen Huiqin was delighted to hear this, but said, ”Our Xiaodong has just started in business, has achieved something, but still has much to learn from you.”

Zhang Jingdong chimed in, ”Don’t worry, Mom. Boss Zhang has been running Lihua Restaurant for so many years and it keeps getting better every year. I’ll certainly learn well from them.”

Then he openly looked at Zhang Lihua, ”I hope Boss Zhang won’t be stingy with guidance!”

Zhang Lihua, upon meeting his gaze, suddenly remembered the scene earlier in the office when they were alone, and her face turned even redder.

”Sure, we can learn from each other.”

”No problem.”

Then the four of them took their seats.

Zhang Jingdong sat with his dad, while Zhang Lihua sat with his mom.

Although Zhang Huaimin and Chen Huiqin felt once again something was a bit off, they couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was.

Not long after, the server brought the dishes, and they began eating and chatting.

Zhang Jingdong was a master of setting the mood. Now facing his parents and his newly official girlfriend, he performed exceptionally well.

Though it was Zhang Lihua’s first time in such a situation, with Zhang Jingdong’s expert support, she performed perfectly.

Not only did she show her maturity and steadiness as a restaurant owner in front of Zhang Jingdong’s parents, but she also displayed her gentle side.

At one moment, Zhang Huaimin and Chen Huiqin even thought if Zhang Lihua were a bit younger, she’d be the perfect choice for their daughter-in-law.

Not only was she pretty with a great figure, she also had a career and was well-known in the county. Most importantly, she and their son seemed to get along tremendously well.

Imagine having such a daughter-in-law, the family would be quite prestigious in the county!

But they soon returned to reality, knowing their son’s career was in Jiangdu and he most likely would stay there.

Also, considering Zhang Lihua was significantly older than their son, they decided to let it go.

Halfway through the meal, Zhang Jingdong and Zhang Lihua discussed work arrangements with Chen Huiqin and her husband, with Zhang Jingdong also suggesting that his parents take a break before starting work, to which they agreed.

Around 1 o’clock, they finished their meal.

Zhang Lihua escorted Zhang Jingdong and his family to the parking lot.

After a round of goodbyes, Zhang Jingdong had his parents get into the car first, then said to Zhang Lihua, ”Alright then, Mr. Zhang, that’s it for today. I’ll come back another day to continue discussing our mall project.”
