Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1637: Chapter 611: Going to Shangguan Yue’s House!

”Prison mates? So you must’ve attended the university of life! But if you’re a top graduate of the university of life, why are you still getting into fights after getting out?”

”I... I messed up, I swear I’ll never do it again! Boss, please forgive me just one more time.”

Zhang Jingdong sneered: ”Of course, I’ll forgive you. After all, we live in a law-abiding society now. I’m not like you going to the university of life.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Dayong breathed a sigh of relief: ”Thank you, boss, thank you... So... we can leave now?”

With that, he was about to leave.

On the side, Zhao San and Ma Tao saw this and immediately stood up as well.

Zhang Jingdong then looked at the DV in his hand and said, ”Wait a minute!”

Chen Dayong and the others immediately felt a jolt of anxiety.

”Boss, is there anything else you need?”

Zhang Jingdong calmly said: ”I’m afraid if I let you go now, you might sneak attack us again tonight, so I want something to hold against you.”

”No, no...” Chen Dayong hurriedly waved his hands: ”Boss, we know how powerful you are now. We definitely won’t provoke you anymore, I swear!”

Zhao San and Ma Tao quickly agreed.

”Boss, we really won’t dare!”

”Boss, you’re rich and powerful, and so skilled, we’re not your match at all, we absolutely won’t provoke you anymore!”

Then Zhang Jingdong stared at Chen Dayong: ”But you’ve gone back on your word once already, so I’m a bit hesitant to believe you unless...”

Chen Dayong immediately understood: ”Just name your condition, as long as you can let us go, we’ll do whatever you say without question!”

Zhang Jingdong suddenly laughed: ”That’s just what I was waiting for! Alright, since you’re so straightforward, I’ll say it: if you can agree to this thing, then I’ll let you go right after we’re done!”

Chen Dayong promptly said: ”Say it.”

Zhang Jingdong waved the DV in his hand: ”Here’s the thing, I’ve always had this dream of making a film. I want to create a classic like ’Blue Rain’ and even surpass it.”

”Have you heard of the movie ’Blue Rain’?”

Chen Dayong and his group immediately shook their heads.

”...No.”

”...I never watch movies.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”No wonder you’ve attended the university of life, no appreciation for art at all.”

”But it’s okay, I’ll tell you the story of this classic movie now...”

Then Zhang Jingdong patiently and thoroughly narrated the plot of ’Blue Rain’ to them, followed by the plot of his own movie.

After hearing the plot of ’Blue Rain’, Chen Dayong and his group were both incredulous and baffled.

And when they heard Zhang Jingdong’s original movie plot, all three of them felt a chill down their spines.

Seeing this, Zhang Jingdong smiled and said: ”Chen Dayong, you’re the closest to me among you three, so I’ll cast you as the male lead in my movie, playing the character of Blue Rain from ’Blue Rain’.”

Then he pointed to Zhao San and Ma Tao: ”You two will each play the second male lead, Chen Handong.”

With that, he set up the DV: ”No need for the emotional scenes, just go straight to the key parts, alright, start your performance.”

Chen Dayong and his friends thought they understood but still couldn’t believe their ears.

Chen Dayong: ”...Boss, what exactly do you mean by this?”

Zhang Jingdong’s eyes sharpened: ”I’ve laid it out for you, and you still don’t get it?”

”But... this won’t work, we... we can’t do it.”

”Can’t do it? Then don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

With that, Zhang Jingdong performed another bout of punches and kicks, leading to cries of pain from Chen Dayong and his friends.

Ten minutes later, Zhang Jingdong coldly said: ”I’ll ask one last time, are you willing to act in my movie? If not, to prevent any retaliation from you, I’ll have to eliminate you!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Dayong and his friends were practically scared to death.

They’d encountered plenty of tough characters before, but never someone this skilled and tough.

They sensed that Zhang Jingdong was indeed willing to go to extremes.

The three of them hesitated a bit more, but ultimately chose survival over pride.

Then Chen Dayong sighed: ”...Alright, I’m... I’m willing.”

Zhang Jingdong was immediately delighted: ”That’s the spirit, you must have the courage to sacrifice for art!”

More than half an hour later, Zhang Jingdong reviewed the footage and said, ”Alright, let’s officially discuss now.”

”The first thing you need to know is that I own an entertainment company. Simply put, if I want to, I can have hundreds of thousands or even millions of people online see this film, making you three overnight sensations.”

”And if you don’t want to be famous, then you need to agree to one more thing, but don’t worry, what I’m asking of you this time won’t make you lose your dignity, but instead will earn you great respect.”

”In fact, if you succeed, you will be praised by billions of countrymen.”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong wanting him to do something else, Chen Dayong felt not only played but infuriated: ”I’ve... what more do you want from us?”

Zhang Jingdong squinted his eyes slightly: ”Am I not being respectful to you? One word, will you agree or not? If not, I’ll leave right now.”

Chen Dayong instantly caved: ”...Alright, tell us, what do you want us to do?”

”That’s more like it.” Zhang Jingdong paused, then said: ”Since you can’t stay in the country after shooting that film, I suggest you go to Japan.”

”And what I want you to do is... go burn down their Dead Ghost Shrine.”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong casually took out a card: ”This card contains 1 million, which is your budget for this venture. If you can accomplish this within three months, I’ll add 5 million more to this card. This amount should be enough for the rest of your life. How does that sound?”

Seeing Chen Dayong and his friends hesitate, Zhang Jingdong continued: ”As I see it, you have no other way out. One option is being seen by millions in your movie, becoming a social pariah, the other is becoming national heroes and earning millions. Anyone would know what to choose!”

Chen Dayong and his friends were completely swayed by this time, mainly because they knew they truly had no other options, and they all nodded.

”Alright, we’ll do it!”
