Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1607: Chapter 601: The Most Beautiful Woman in the County! (Supersized Chapter)

But now, even though both of them had some opinions about their son, no one said anything.

Zhang Jingdong sensed this, so he took the initiative to say, ”I hadn’t played games with Liu Yang for a long time, so we ended up playing until one in the morning.”

”I was afraid of waking you up, so I took him to a hotel and got two rooms.”

Upon hearing that Zhang Jingdong hadn’t stayed up all night, Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin’s expressions instantly became more relaxed.

Chen Huiqin immediately said, ”No wonder you look quite energetic. You haven’t had breakfast yet, right? What would you like to eat? I’ll make it for you.”

Zhang Jingdong casually replied, ”After being away from home for over half a year, what I miss most is your scallion oil noodles.”

”Alright, I’ll make it for you now.”

Half an hour later, the scallion oil noodles were served.

Chen Huiqin also made an extra dish, a celery and peanut salad.

Although Zhang Jingdong had already had breakfast, he ended up eating two bowls of scallion oil noodles.

It must be said that compared to Sister Zhao’s spicy wontons, he felt his mom’s scallion oil noodles were better.

Chen Xiaoqing really wasn’t wrong, the best taste is still the taste of mom’s cooking.

After finishing the meal, seeing his parents were preparing to go to work, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Dad, Mom, you should resign from the factory today. I’ll go talk to the owner of Lihua Restaurant later.”

Chen Huiqin hesitated for a moment and then said, ”...Son, last night your dad and I discussed it again. You still shouldn’t buy Lihua Restaurant.”

”Mainly because your dad and I have never done business before, not to mention such a big restaurant. If we lose the money you spent on it...”

Zhang Jingdong had already anticipated their concerns, so he said, ”Mom, it’s like this. Although I’m buying the restaurant, I won’t let anyone from the current staff leave, they’ll just have a new boss.”

”The restaurant will still be run the same way, you’re just helping me oversee it.”

”Lihua Restaurant has been open for many years now, everything is surely quite mature, so the boss mainly holds a nominal position and might not even visit often.”

”So no matter how the restaurant is run in the future, at worst, it’s just a matter of how much profit it makes, it won’t incur losses.”

”Moreover, I’m having you watch over the restaurant firstly so you can enjoy the delicious food every day, and secondly to give you something to do. After all, many people stay healthy when they have something to do in old age, and tend to get sick when idle.”

”Lastly, and most importantly, your factory is a coal mine. Working there is detrimental to your health.”

”In the past, our family didn’t have the means, so there was no choice, but now your son is well-off. How could I let you work in such a dangerous place?”

Seeing his parents were somewhat persuaded, Zhang Jingdong continued, ”If you’re still worried, how about this: I’ll buy Lihua Restaurant first, and you can help for a while. If you find it too difficult, I’ll find some other business for you, how does that sound?”

Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin exchanged a glance, then nodded.

”...Alright, son, we’ll do as you say.”

Seeing his parents finally agreed, Zhang Jingdong said, ”I knew you’d come around. Now, go resign from the factory, and I’ll head out.”

”Once you’re done there, go straight to Lihua Restaurant. By the time you arrive, I should be done talking with them. We’ll have lunch there.”

”Okay.”

Then, each family member packed up a bit and went downstairs together.

Zhang Jingdong arrived at Lihua Restaurant, chose a table by the window, and asked the server, ”Could you please call your manager for me?”

The server was initially startled, but seeing Zhang Jingdong’s distinguished demeanor, nodded, ”Alright, please wait a moment.”

Soon, a woman in her thirties, dressed in a business suit, walked over: ”Hello, I’m the manager here, my surname is Zhong.”

Zhang Jingdong directly asked, ”Is your boss in Hong County now?”

She hesitated, ”Is there something I can help you with? Maybe you can discuss it with me first?”

”I do have something, but it’s not something I can discuss with you. I want to buy this restaurant.”

On hearing this, she sized up Zhang Jingdong seriously and said, ”You’re not joking, are you?”

”Do I look like I’m joking? How about this: call your boss now so I can speak with her for a moment.”

”...Alright, please wait a moment.”

She went aside to make a call.

Shortly after, she returned, ”Here you go.”

Zhang Jingdong took the cellphone from her, ”Hello, is this Mr. Zhang?”

”That’s right, may I ask who you are?”

”Congratulations, Host, on successfully completing the conversation with your target. You are rewarded 10,000 yuan!”

”My surname is also Zhang, I’m Zhang Jingdong, the owner of Jiangdu Dongsheng Group. I’d like to discuss acquiring your Lihua Restaurant; can we meet and discuss it?”

”...I’m sorry, I currently have no intention of selling the restaurant.”

”That’s alright. I’m here at your restaurant now, could you come over for a face-to-face discussion? I believe that after we talk, you might change your mind.”

”...Alright, I’m on my way.”

After hanging up, Zhang Jingdong handed the cellphone back to the manager, ”Could you get me a pot of Biluochun Tea?”

Taking back the cellphone, she replied, ”Sure, please wait a moment.”

Watching her walk away, Zhang Jingdong turned his gaze out of the restaurant and a graceful figure appeared in his mind.

If Song Yunshan was the school belle of Hong County No.1 Middle School, then she was the acknowledged number one beauty in the entire Hong County.
