Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1349: Chapter 515: Persuading Lu Zhining!

Zhang Jingdong deliberately teased her: ”What are you talking about? Just do what you thought about before.”

Lu Zhining saw the heat in Zhang Jingdong’s eyes and instantly panicked: ”You... are you crazy? This is your office!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”I know, so what?”

”What do you mean ’so what’? You’re the boss here, if someone catches us... how will you establish your authority in the company in the future?”

Zhang Jingdong laughed: ”Senior, I’m running a company, not a school. Why would I need authority? Little Ma needs WeChat.”

”As long as I pay the employees, even if I’m a scumbag, they will still come to work the next day. But if I delay their wages, even if I’m a living saint, no one will come to the office the next day.”

”Besides, because I’m the boss here, everything is up to me. I do what I want, however I want, and no one dares to stop me.”

”Senior, rest assured, no one will disturb us.”

Lu Zhining saw Zhang Jingdong still wanted to continue, quickly stopped his mischievous hand: ”You... you may accept it, but I... I can’t!”

”It’s my first time at your company, and many people saw me earlier. I... I can’t get past that in my mind.”

Fearing Zhang Jingdong might get angry, and wishing for him to let her go now, she added: ”Jingdong, I’m... I’m begging you, I can give it to you, but not here.”

Zhang Jingdong knew all along he couldn’t settle it here, he was just waiting for her to say this.

So after hearing those words, he deliberately paused for three or four seconds then said: ”Senior, let’s discuss now.”

”Last time in your dormitory, didn’t we almost do something?”

Though Lu Zhining didn’t want to admit it, she nodded: ”...Mm.”

Zhang Jingdong continued: ”And now you said this again, so it’s officially nailed down, right?”

”...Mm.”

Zhang Jingdong held back his laughter: ”So next time if I want to do something, you won’t have any reason to refuse me, right?”

Lu Zhining secretly sighed with relief then bashfully avoided his gaze: ”Mm.”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong pinched her chin: ”But what about my big stress now?”

Lu Zhining slowly turned back: ”You... then... should I... like before?”

Ultimately, she did feel for Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”I knew it, our Lulu really felt for me, not just talking.”

Lu Zhining rolled her eyes then began revisiting that day’s knowledge points, feeling both shy and happy.

”Congratulations to the host for successfully completing the teaching in a special environment, rewarding 500,000 yuan.”

After class, Lu Zhining suddenly remembered something, quickly checked the time and exclaimed: ”Oh no...”

Zhang Jingdong was slightly stunned: ”What’s ’oh no’?”

”What do you mean ’what’s oh no’? Fang has gone to sign the contract, and I... I’ve been alone in your office for nearly an hour. They will definitely overthink!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily: ”Let them overthink. No matter what we do, it’s reasonable and legal given our current relationship!”

”You might not fear gossip, but I do! It’s my first time at your company after all.”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile: ”Alright, so how about this, I’ll go with you over there now, and we’ll tell them that I liked your external conditions and wanted to persuade you to join our company’s influencer program, and you finally agreed!”

”That should be a sufficient reason, right? They will definitely believe it!”

Lu Zhining quickly thought it over and nodded: ”Seems like that’s the only way.”

Zhang Jingdong planted a heavy kiss on her cheek: ”Don’t worry, my eloquence will definitely sort it out beautifully for you!”

So the two quickly tidied themselves and together left the office, heading to Lin Qingci’s office.

As a seasoned insider, Lin Qingci instantly caught a very familiar scent when they entered, knowing what they had done, and thus fully confirming their relationship.

Yet she still chose to ignore it, calmly saying: ”Boss, you’re here.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded a little guiltily, then pretended to be calm and said: ”Well, I’ve always thought Senior Lu Zhining is very suited to our influencer program.”

”I mentioned this to her before, but she already had a job lined up and thought she might not manage.”

”But I suddenly thought she could handle other aspects, so I brought it up to her again.”

”As a result, she felt it suited her very well, so she agreed. Now, promptly prepare her contract and aim for signing today.”

Lin Qingci paused slightly, then said: ”Is that so? I also thought she was very suited and mentioned it, but she didn’t agree. It had to be you to truly persuade her!”

”Alright, I’ll have someone prepare the contract immediately.”

Knowing it wasn’t wise to stay any longer, Zhang Jingdong said: ”Alright, you two have a good talk with President Lin, I’ll leave now!”

”But rest assured, since you’re personally recruited by me, I will definitely be responsible for your accounts in the future. Even if you don’t become super popular, I’ll ensure you at least have a stable income with tens of thousands of followers.”

Liu Fang smiled and nodded after hearing this: ”Thank you, boss!”

Lu Zhining also responded at this point, happily saying: ”Thank you, boss!”
