Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Bai Shan and the others praised and carefully explored the entire private room.

Huo Chengcheng turned to Zhang Jingdong at this moment: ”Boss Zhang, there just happens to be calligraphy and painting here. Why don’t you show us something now?”

Zhang Jingdong replied casually: ”Alright, since you’re so eager to determine the winner, I’ll oblige you.”

Saying this, he went straight to the desk.

He casually picked up a calligraphy piece by Emperor Huizong of Song and handed it to Huo Chengcheng: ”Take a look at this first.”

Huo Chengcheng glanced at the calligraphy and then hesitantly asked, ”Why are you showing us this?”

Zhang Jingdong replied, ”Do you think the calligraphy is beautiful?”

Huo Chengcheng looked carefully once more and then nodded: ”It’s beautiful.”

She then handed the calligraphy piece to Bai Shan.

Bai Shan took it and examined it together with Liu Zihan, and they both nodded.

”This calligraphy is quite beautiful. If I remember correctly, this should be the slender gold style by Emperor Huizong of Song, right?”

Zhang Jingdong immediately gave Bai Shan a thumbs up: ”No wonder you’re the older sister, truly knowledgeable!”

Receiving the compliment, Bai Shan’s smile became even sweeter, and she winked at Zhang Jingdong.

”Alright, since you all think the calligraphy by Emperor Huizong of Song is pretty good, it shows that your aesthetic sense is quite on point. I’ll now base some writing on his style and let you take a look.”

Zhang Jingdong said this as he smoothly prepared the ink and picked up the brush, then seriously wrote couplets from ancient poetry—”If the sky had feelings, it would grow old; if the moon had no hatred, it would remain full.”

After finishing, he dried the ink and held up the piece to show the trio.

”Take a good look and then give me a score.”

”To be fair, if the average score from you three exceeds 90, I win, and if it’s below 90, I lose. Let’s begin.”

Bai Shan and the others, upon hearing this, promptly began to earnestly admire the calligraphy that Zhang Jingdong had written.

But after less than a minute, a flash of surprise and dejection passed through Huo Chengcheng’s eyes.

She had originally planned that if the calligraphy Zhang Jingdong wrote wasn’t as beautiful as that of Emperor Huizong of Song, she would directly give him 60 points.

This way, even if Bai Shan and Liu Zihan got soft-hearted and gave him 100 points, Zhang Jingdong would definitely lose.

However, she couldn’t possibly imagine that the calligraphy Zhang Jingdong wrote could be so stunning!

It was practically more beautiful than what was in the calligraphy piece!

She instinctively turned to look at Bai Shan and Liu Zihan.

They both were clearly amazed by Zhang Jingdong’s calligraphy as well.

Zhang Jingdong perceived this and said immediately: ”Alright, give me a score for this, Shanshan. You go first.”

Bai Shan straightforwardly said: ”Darling, I really didn’t expect you could write calligraphy so well. I’ll give you 100 points!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed: ”You’re certainly enamored, but I like it!”

”And you, Zihan?”

Liu Zihan paused, and then said: ”I give you 100 points too. It’s really beautiful!”

Zhang Jingdong ran a hand over her arm and turned to Huo Chengcheng.

”Huo Chengcheng, it’s your turn. Give a score.”

Huo Chengcheng hesitated for almost half a minute before saying: ”Okay, although I don’t want to lose, I have to admit your calligraphy is indeed beautiful. I’ll give you... 98 points.”

Zhang Jingdong burst into laughter: ”Haha... Chengcheng, although you’re sometimes a bit difficult, I have to admit you’re truly an honest person. Love you!”

Saying this, he blew a kiss to Huo Chengcheng.

Although Huo Chengcheng appeared to reject it, there was a slight flutter in her heart.

Zhang Jingdong was about to set the calligraphy piece aside and move to the next item when Bai Shan suddenly said: ”Darling, could you give this calligraphy to me?”

Zhang Jingdong agreed happily: ”No lie, although my calligraphy is master-level, I haven’t written much before, so you’re the first person to actively ask to collect my calligraphy.”

”Given that, I’ll give my first piece to you... Since you’ve already given your first piece to me.”

Upon saying this, a slight blush appeared on the faces of the three beauties opposite.

Though shy, Bai Shan felt more elated.

With solemnity, she received the calligraphy from Zhang Jingdong and carefully stored it away.

Zhang Jingdong then pointed to the chessboard beside him and asked: ”Do any of you know how to play chess?”

Huo Chengcheng and the others exchanged glances and then all shook their heads.

”Since that’s the case, I won’t demonstrate chess. I’ll now play you two pieces of music and then paint a picture. If the average score you give again exceeds 90, then I win the bet tonight. Is that okay?”

Bai Shan immediately replied: ”No problem.”

Liu Zihan echoed: ”I think it’s fine too.”

Huo Chengcheng finally nodded: ”Alright, that’s fine.”

Zhang Jingdong then moved to the instrument stand.

”What piece would you like to hear? Each of you suggest one, and I’ll pick the most challenging one to perform for you.”

Bai Shan: ”Spring River Flower Moon Night.”

Liu Zihan: ”Guangling San.”

Huo Chengcheng: ”I only know Fishing Boat Singing at Dusk.”

”Alright, looks like you’ve all heard Fishing Boat Singing at Dusk, so I’ll play that for you.”

After briefly tuning the instrument, he started playing.

Since Zhang Jingdong had previously demonstrated his strong skills in both songwriting and playing instruments, the group had little doubt about his proficiency with the guzheng.

Even Huo Chengcheng secretly anticipated losing this round.
