Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”Lulu is now the boss lady of my restaurant. As her best friend, this kind of treatment is only natural.”

Lu Zhining knew that Zhang Jingdong said this to help her pay back Liu Fang for her past kindness, and her heart instantly felt warm.

Then she said to Liu Fang, ”Fang, just accept it. You mentioned this to me before, didn’t you? Now is the perfect time. Boss Zhang enjoyed the pig’s trotters Auntie made, so it’s only fitting that he gives you a gift in return!”

Seeing Lu Zhining agree, Liu Fang finally smiled, ”Alright, since Lulu said so, I’ll humbly accept it. Thank you, Boss Zhang!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile, ”Fang, please, don’t stand on ceremony with me.”

Afterwards, Zhang Jingdong ate another five or six pig’s trotters in a row.

Although he exaggerated earlier by saying that Liu Fang’s mom’s cooking was on par with their restaurant chef, he had to admit that her mom’s pig’s trotters were really delicious.

Many restaurants that specialize in pig’s trotters can’t make such an authentic taste.

Wanting to enjoy her mom’s pig’s trotters more often and further repay Liu Fang, thus deepening the bond with Lu Zhining,

he turned and said, ”By the way, Fang, you’re about to get your PhD soon, have you found a job yet?”

”Not yet. My grades aren’t as good as Lulu’s, so I can’t stay at the school.”

”I plan to find any job for now and keep looking for a suitable one while working.”

”What job do you really want to do from the bottom of your heart?”

Liu Fang paused for a bit, then half-jokingly said, ”To be honest, I’m someone who loves to travel and enjoys photography. The job I dream of is to be a photographer for travel magazines so that I can do what I love and make some money along the way.”

”Unfortunately, I interviewed with a few magazine companies before, and only one offered me a position, but my mom thought the salary was too low and wouldn’t let me take it.”

”How much does the job you’re considering now pay per month?”

”Less than 5000.”

Zhang Jingdong then said, ”Have you heard of the website Renren Network?”

Liu Fang’s heart leaped, and she quickly nodded, ”Of course! It’s the hottest website in Jiangdu right now. That beautiful girl who makes videos, right, her name is Jiang Lai, she’s on that website.”

”Since you know about Jiang Lai, you should also have heard of the site’s influencer program, right?”

”I know. I even wanted to join at that time, but I was busy preparing my thesis, so I didn’t have the time to participate in the end.”

”Do you know which group company Renren Network belongs to?”

”I know, Dongsheng Group. I looked it up before.”

”Do you know why this group company is called Dongsheng Group?”

Liu Fang was initially stunned, then shook her head, ”I don’t know.”

”Because the owner’s name contains ’Dong,’ as in Zhang Jingdong’s ’Dong.’”

Liu Fang was instantly shocked, and she turned to look at Lu Zhining with a face full of disbelief.

And Lu Zhining was actually just as surprised. Although she knew that besides his restaurant business, Zhang Jingdong was involved in many other businesses, she had no idea that he had already become the owner of a group company.

Zhang Jingdong, seeing this, then took out his business card holder and drew out two business cards to hand to them.

Liu Fang saw that the business card indeed had ”Chairman of Dongsheng Group Company, Zhang Jingdong” written on it. Although she still felt a bit skeptical, she couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Boss Zhang, you are amazing! I really didn’t expect you to be the chairman of Dongsheng Group. It’s just incredible!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and said, ”Fang, since you like travel photography and know about our site’s influencer program, I now officially invite you to become a signed influencer with our company.”

”I believe with your comprehensive abilities, you’ll definitely make a name for yourself.”

”As for the salary, your base salary is 10,000, and once your account becomes successful, there will be additional earnings from advertisements and product endorsements. How does that sound to you?”

Liu Fang was instantly overjoyed, ”This... Boss Zhang, your offer is almost too generous. I’m afraid I might not be able to live up to it.”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and waved his hand, ”Fang, rest assured. Our company will have professional photographers to train you, and there will also be someone to guide you in content creation and account management.”

Seeing that she was still a bit doubtful, Zhang Jingdong continued, ”Fang, the reason I decided to sign you is definitely not just because you are Lulu’s friend. The key is that your qualities completely fit our requirements for influencers.”

”When we were initially selecting influencers, I personally chose a few dozen from hundreds of applicants, and with Jiang Lai, I knew from the first glance she was suited for being an influencer because she was very photogenic.”

”Later, after hearing her story, I was pretty much certain she could become a top influencer, so I personally crafted her video content.”

”I’m not saying this to boast, but just to let you trust my judgment.”

”Fang, how about this: you give it six months, and if your account doesn’t take off within that time, I’ll personally help you find a suitable job. How does that sound?”

Liu Fang knew that Zhang Jingdong genuinely wanted to help her, so she hesitated for a moment, then said, ”Alright, since you put it that way, I trust you. I’m willing.”

”Thank you, Boss Zhang.”

She then turned to Lu Zhining, ”Lulu, thank you too.”

Lu Zhining shook her head with a smile, ”Fang, there’s no need to say that between us, and besides, it was Boss Zhang who helped you. I really didn’t do anything.”

”If it weren’t for you catching Boss Zhang’s attention, I wouldn’t have had such a good opportunity.”

Lu Zhining’s face instantly turned red with shyness, and a sense of pride glimmered in her eyes.
